He’ll be faster, perhaps stronger, and will probably have a bigger tank, but that is all due to youth. And I’m willing to bet Israel’s Jujitsu isn’t as good as Anderson’s. Which would make Anderson not only the better striker but also the better fighter. This would be a super fight if this took place after the 2nd Rich Franklin fight or maybe after the Forrest Griffin fight. But now it’s Anderson Vs Father Time and sadly Father Time is undefeated.

That is true the only guys that have stood up with Anderson Silva was Nick Diaz and Bisping but Anderson was more athletic and dynamic then both of them they were just tough. Even Cormier didn't like standing with Anderson and he has had fights with Jon Jones that were mostly standing. Anderson's an underrated boxer his Muy Thai gets a lot of credit but I don't think he has the Muy Thai skills of Israel. I do think he has more powerful hands though.

If I remember correctly, Maurice Smith had very little takedown defense. Sprawl and brawl came into its own with Chuck Liddell. When he fought Coleman, Maurice relied on tiring out his opponent in a spider guard.
Silva's just a shadow of his former self at this point, he's never been the same after the Weidman fights. Fact is for the majority of cases when an old 43 year old legand faces a very good 29 year old contender, the young contender wins, there's only rare exceptions like Hopkins with Pavlik for example. I expect Adesayna too stop Silva in the 2nd or 3rd round.

silva's still dangerous and capable of moments of magic but based on the bisping and brunson fights I think israel is gonna ko him.
Silva's just a shadow of his former self at this point, he's never been the same after the Weidman fights. Fact is for the majority of cases when an old 43 year old legand faces a very good 29 year old contender, the young contender wins, there's only rare exceptions like Hopkins with Pavlik for example. I expect Adesayna too stop Silva in the 2nd or 3rd round.
@@cpb1998 i agree with him not being the same but I will say that there was clearly something technical with bisping and diaz that we didn't see before as he was facing way less technical strikers. Bisping , diaz and weidman didn't fall into his mind games caused by his defence. The reason why anderson went down hill so much was probably physical and him being too much of a show man instead of a killer.

I don't like these new age bratty fighters. Iz is a MW McGregor, talks the talk and walks it for now but will get exposed eventually. Luckily for him there aren't many that match up well at 185 so he will find success more often than not. He will be humbled somewhere along the way though, probably by Woodley once he makes the jump.

McGregor's striking has never been exposed as any worse than he says it is though, Both UFC losses came by submission, IIRC he has only lost by submission in his career. So, saying he was exposed because of all his talk is a fallacy.
He has done exactly what he said he would do except when someone with a better ground game has gotten him to (or on, as with the first Diaz fight) the ground. McGregor also has a really good record, a couple of losses hardly means he is done lol. Such salt from haters, make the calculation and see you are wrong.
As for Adesanya, he is bulding his way up the division, fighting better fighters as he goes, can't see what you can hate about that. He is obviously skilled and his talk has fuck all to do with that.
