I wonder if the Chelonean cult's obsession with Turtles is a reference to "Turtle Island", an older Native American belief about North America being a landmass situated on the back of a giant turtle? It certainly seems to be the case, given Cheloneans place great emphasis on North America being special. I've been back to Trelawny's house in Saint Denis during the epilogue, and he's not there anymore. During the main story Arthur would rattle his door and say 'Trelawny? You in there?' or something like that, but John doesn't do anything. @@JammyGit I'm not sure about that. I have a couple of theories that maybe you guys wanna tinker with after endlessly searching for what I think is a way to unlock another secret about the chelonians. Firstly if you inspect the corpses of the fallen chelonians the one in the turtle shell is labeled master and one of the others is labeled chelonian while the rest just say stranger which makes me wonder if there’s a significance to those two bodies. You can carry both corpses on your horse with no bounty or reports of any kind from anyone who sees you carrying them around (I’d recommend bringing a spare horse to carry both bodies). I’ve tried taking them to the hill home hoping to unlock something but after hearing you read the pamphlet I noticed the passage about evil women and birds of prey and there’s a witches cauldron which you can drink from only one time. The cabin is full of herbivore bait and you can use that to lure rams nearby into the tent and use the lasso to sacrifice them rather than shoot them if you wear cover scent. I think a mask may be required. Also we have two bodies and two known UFOs which we all know must mean there’s a third. Inn wondering if taking one body to one location as an offering or something may unlock another ufo or possibly taking the master to the cauldron and drinking the brew may unlock something. Has anyone tried or noticed any of this stuff? The pamphlet also talks about swimming during the wrong moon and there’s a pond outside one of the UFO locations as well as mentioning the frozen north which is where the second UFO can be found. I think it’s worth tinkering with but the chances of one person figuring out the exact variables to unlock something is slim. We’d need a lot of people trying different things like masks or perhaps bringing an alligator snapping turtle to the chelonians to see if that might do something? What do you think?

If I could repurpose words of great wisdom for this:
Anyone who trades freedom for safety deserves neither, and shall lose both.
If you jump with them as John he will also yell chelinia.
Legend Fizhy, keep the vids coming! Enjoying the playthrough of LA Noire too
You're the best, Fizhy! Deep dives into all the nooks & crannies in RDR2 with great humour in both the dialogue & those little touches of your own style of game play.
What did I learn from this video? Arthur loves turtles.
im amazed after all the hours i put into this game, all the analysis videos, all the reddit posts, and there's still something i never knew existed. i've never seen that Chelonian guy in the Valentine's hotel before. what a remarkable game.
just woke up to another gem of a video, thanks Fizhy!
The Chad Chelonialism vs the virgin epsilon cult
Fihzy I really applaud this long con of yours to get 2 vids on the same subject one longer and one shorter length. You sir are a innovator of our time. The algorithim won't be able to keep up with your genius.
I’m not hating, but with all these re-visited videos, he’s mainly just inserting in full scenes of the game and throwing up theories. At some point there’s got to be a realization that the majority of these re-visited videos serve little to no purpose but to increase a subscriber base because RDR is his most successful content. I’m just surprised on how people are still watching this as if there’s a bunch of new information to be discovered.
@@ar6assassin913 it's important to note that many people probably haven't found all of this Info before, some might kit have even played or finished the le gthy game. I've played through the story twice and he still surprises me. It's all up to what you already know, as with all educational/exploration content like this.
That bit in the pamphlet talking about the old people dying and unburdening their families and then the chelonians jumping off the cliff reminds me of the ettestupe from Norse history
Chelonia would have millions of followers on social media and be taking in billions in donations every year.
I find it funny the connection between the cholines and the van der Lin gang at the end
Was hoping to hear John yell “CHELONIA!”
✊🏾 turtles!
He does if you jump with them
There ain’t no shame in looking for a better world.
Dude, I was graphing New Austin when you were talking about the Cholla Springs’ bodies. I decided to look on my map and I was RIGHT BY IT.
15:00
“We are all kings!”
This reminds me of someone, can’t quite put my finger on it. But it’ll be *Long* before I figure it out.
I'd like to mention when i visited the hill home after looking around inside and looting a bit a guy came in and started shooting me. I assume he lived there
@4:15 This is my favorite dialogue progression in this mission. I do it this way every time ha.
Just four turtle bois and their big eared, rat face master.
Watched a few of ya videos about RDR1/2 and you made me redownload and redo the RDR2's story again. lmao now I wana see all this shit i haven't seen yet and i got a new hype again. And for that ty Fizhy!
i know this is a couple years ago... but i was looking for more RDR 2 stuff on podcast on i heart radio, then i decided maybe i can find some stuff on youtube... and wow i love these videos.... i actually learned some info i missed when playing.. i like how u will throw in some clips from the game to..
Anyone notice anders looks like kernal sanders when arthur meets him but the strange man when john meets him maybe symbolizing arthur is the good and john is the evil since they where technically brothers
Chelonian: join me Arthur: starts heading for the door
Chelonia may be inspired by Mackinac Island. The preacher Anders calls Chelonia the "Land of the Great Turtle." Which is what the word Mackinac means in English. The native Americans of the Great lakes region worshiped Mackinac as they believed it to be where the first humans were created.
28:22 If John jumps of the cliff while running even he yells "Chelonia!!!"
24:53 there's a women that said she was reincarnated in GTA V and she was sitting exactly like the woman at the camp. There's a little Y stick at the camp aswell and in the cutscene they have something similar. I think somebody might’ve made a video about it.
Love how you did a Silent Hill 4 style intro changing from title to moonlight
The turtle cult lol I remember I beat that preacher up 🤣🤣🤣 Sam's dialogue though strangely enough lol
