  • In this video I share some thoughts on what to do if you're struggling financially to pay your car, credit card, and loan payments. Many people bought Dodge Challengers and Chargers with huge mark ups causing them to be stuck in their cars and in financial trouble. I want to help!

    People dont want to save up to buy anything. They want it now no way I would ever pay 1000 to 1200 ever month for a charger/ challenger. People get sucked in .

      Its crazy…then after 3-4 months when the new wears off, and that shit just a piece of expensive metal in the parking lot and that note got em in distress, it’s on back of a repo truck or doing insurance fraud to get from under it.

      You sound just Like me ,I agree 100% ,I bought my 2024 2SS 1LE M6 ,Cash ,I saved since 2018 for a Hefty down payment on a new scatpack originally, But things got stupid and I started looking elsewhere and fell in love with 1LE's ,but regardless of what I bought it was a toy for me and it's paid for ,people forgot how to save for something they want nowadays and many get themselves in trouble

    Im not in this current situation myself but i think its great to share with others because life happens. Many ups and downs in people's life just need to deal with it head on early so you cant get to a better place quicker.

    I just made the last payment on my 2019 Charger Scat Pack a couple weeks ago and the title literally showed up in the mail today. Just a massive relief, and good feeling that's done and paid for. I bought my car used for $40.5K in 2021 at a smokin' 2.8% interest rate, I can't imagine the younger kids out there that went down and have bought these cars brand new at $50-60K with even higher interest. I won't have another auto loan for a very long time, if ever.

      That's awesome!! I bought my 2020 mustang for 40k and definitely not at the intrest rate as yours lol 3 years down on 700 pmt and now insurance when up to 200 a month cause of the world now not from anything I did. Still owe 22k on my car. Love my car still and enjoy driving her every time I drive but never will buy another new car again. congrats on paying yours off early.

    The 70 20 10 rule for money has served me the best. The biggest chunk, 70%, goes towards living expenses while 20% goes towards repaying any debt, or to savings if all your debt is covered. The remaining 10% is your 'fun bucket', money set aside for the things you want after your essentials, debt and savings goals are taken care of.

    ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ You are preaching knowledge there my friend!!! We had a financial difficulty and they put payments on back end of loan during covid. We didn't have a payment for 6 months but I still made small payments until back on our feet. It's more interest but if you put more money in payment it cuts a little off. We get scared to call but they want you to call. It cost them more to repo then get car sold and you have repo on credit.

    I pay off my credit card balance every night.
    I don’t run balances at all if there is interest.
    850 FICO score.
    Collecting flight points for my business class trip in Bali/ Singapore.
    Subsidized by those who run balances.

      Me too, I'm not rich at all. I believe less than 2 percent of people have a 850 fico score. Sometimes you'll hear that once you've reached that it's hard to stay there, sure there's some pitfalls but I don't think it's that difficult. As long as you keep doing the same thing that got you there minus the debt part. To risky to do that again IMO.

    I've loved cars since the 80s.
    I used to think there was no way that others liked cars more than I do, turns out there are. I guess the main difference is I never liked anything enough that it would put me behind the financial 8-ball. You can still have really nice cars, without debt, they might not be exactly the cars you want but at least you'll own them instead of them owning you. You know what I mean?? I hope so.

    Idk how most Americans afford these things. I make good money and dont see how i could retire if i spent like that.

    Moved back in with my parents back in August..I was able to pay off 3 credit cards and working on my last card. I’ve never felt so great financially with less credit card debt. Credit score has skyrocketed will be in a great situation to get a scatpack when interest rates come down and a good deal comes around

    thanks for your advice!.. i know this isnt financial advice. but im a very tight guy on money but stupid to spend the free money credit cards that i have to pay later lol.. so my question is I have 2750 credit card debt and my tax check is coming thursday. Should I say screw it and just pay off my credit card debt or.. just throw extra money each month on the credit card debt. I have 25k saved up right now it just sits smh..

    • @patrickcooper2760
      @patrickcooper2760 2 месяца назад +4

      I would personally pay it all off except for a couple hundred your credit score will go up and a much smaller payment and the card would be freed up for emergency or as a cushion in lean times.

    • @jbcope1000
      @jbcope1000 2 месяца назад +1

      Pay the 2750 and pay it off each month. That credit is costing you each month if you don't pay in full.
      Then, at the very least, put your savings in a high yield savings account to get something back. That will at least get you started while you research financial planning. Plenty of trusted people with advice on you tube.

      It likely won’t matter either way unless you sell your car first and pay it down and hopefully reduce your loss of course.
