The teacher was alive when they FINALLY put her in the ambulance but died en route to hospital. Her chances of living decreased 10% for every 10 minutes she bled. You can’t convince me hers and the lives of others weren’t lost because of inaction.
more lives were lost no doubt about it. You can survive gun shots if you get help right away. The thing is he popped off 50+ shots before the first 7 cops showed up. So no matter what the cop did you would have had a BUNCH of deaths. GOd damnit this stuff is just making me so angry. Just innocent kids dying. While everyone else is protected outside of the school. public schools are just soooo defenseless man. how do we allow that
One little girl tried to save her friend and was covered in her blood the fireman asked her if she was injured and she said no I tried to save my friend but she died. It was the fireman's daughter that died. The little girl was her best friend. It was the little girl who survived the shooting. As a former policeman its absolutely painful to watch these heavily armed, heavily armored, standing in the hall while supposedly 19 little humans got executed. What was/is wrong with these so-called MEN, how much MONEY were each of these POSs paid to not go into that classroom. I hope EVERY POS gets charged for being an accomplice to murder Refusing to do their duty and failing in their responsibility to stop the threat allowed their shooter brother to kill children. Unclear?, kids called from in there. Do you know what it’s like to be shot as a kid and still be composed to find your phone and make that call hoping the shooter doesn’t hear you?
And a teacher called from their they released her 911 call. You could hear her telling kids to get back into the room and to hide it's awful. He actually started shooting outside before he entered. I feel like alot of kids just because he was there for a bit before cops showed up would of most likely been killed just because he was on a mission he was going to kill as many as he could but it at least would of saved some of the cop would of tried or a sniper would of at least been outside. I just couldn't imagine knowing and hearing those kids and just standing there my gut my brain and my body would run to them if my kid were in there i would die getting to them.
"A good plan, violently executed now, is better than a perfect plan next week" Unfortunately, the Uvalde cops never learned Patton's maxims. The way they were standing around with zero urgency while kids were dying is absolutely disgraceful.

@@chefalan336 it seems like the only one who decided to was the off duty border patrol agent armed with his barber's shotgun. While everyone else was standing in the hall with their body armor and patrol rifles waiting for someone else to go in, one man in a t shirt, off of work, borrowed a 12 gauge and cleared classrooms himself. The only authority the local cops felt like flexing was when they were handcuffing parents outside the school. Personally, i defer to Patton again and his views on cowardice. At the very least, not one of those Uvalde cops should even be allowed to wear a Paw Patrol badge that came with their kid's lunchbox. Yellowbellies, the lot of them.
Before Officers can wear military style ballistic armor with webbing, the latest high speed helmets and use high-powered rifles, perhaps they ought to learn a bit more about basic military stratagem. The foundations of CQB - SPEED, SURPRISE, VIOLENCE OF ACTION. But you don’t need to be a soldier to know you ought to have done something, and much sooner than 77 minutes! They kept parents from charging in and one mother actually broke lines and rescued her kids herself! It’s sad and a little scary for everybody to come to the realization that our protection is ultimately our own responsibility, unlike what we’ve been led to believe. Dark times, and it don’t seem to be getting much brighter.
This shows a real scenario where there is a complete lack of leadership, with time playing against it worsening it, and making the situation more unclear. Yes its true they engaged him at the start, and one got some blood over the ear, but come on! they just fled and hold the ground waiting for what? For this? or for a suicide from the gunner? People are saying any cop should've just went in, and because they didn't then they all are chickens who deserve to be fired.. but its not like that! There's a chain in command, and when facing a situation like this, you need to follow someone. SOMEONE FIT TO COMMAND SWIFT AND SOUND.- If the one in command fails to engage, then put him aside, and let another one lead. You cant go jumping in without a valid cause, this one was a valid one. Another issue is the many agencies that were in the AO. Nobody wanted this, and it can happen again in the future, we need to learn from it. NOW. I don't pretend to have every officer with a tactical experience of a Spec OPs team, no! But some basic and more lineal path to follow in desperate situations should be the way to fix these failings. 1. Make a clear rule of engagement for this type of events. 2. Make sure to get as many info collected in the fastest time possible. 3. Make sure every minute counts, one minute can be the difference between bleeding to death, getting tired of hiding or playing dead for civilians, and more bad stuff. 4. Lead. Analyze the situation, use what you have in the best way, and be fucking SWIFT. DON'T OVERUSE TIME. DON'T OVERUSE MOBILE PHONES. DON'T TALK NEAR THE SHOOTER THINGS YOU DON'T WANT HIM TO KNOW. AND DON'T FUCKING PUT YOUR OWN LIFE BEFORE THE LIFE OF THOSE WHO YOU PLEDGE TO PROTECT.

All they cared about was their own safety. Why do you think we have so many questionable police shootings. All they have to do is fear for their life and they can take yours. I’m not anti police but something’s gotta change. I watched over and hour of body cam that seemed like the majority of the time wasted was all about officer safety. When our kids lives are at stake officers need put theirs on the line as well. If there’s an active shooter at a school no time needs to be wasted. This is when officers need to offer up their lives in an effort to save others. This cluster f@#k reminds me of the way the federal government operates. They take a simple task and do everything in their power to complicate it.
None of the 300+ officers should remain employed in law enforcement, let them prove that they can protect their own families before entrusting them with others
It's utterly sad...knowing the shooter was in a classroom with bodies around him for an 1hr and what 30minutes. Where lives could've been saved before hand. May their precious souls rest in peace 🙏
When you clarify the audio you can hear kids pleading for their lives before being shot, while the cops are there, it is very clear the officers knew kids were in there and that they failed to save them
Wow… 300+ officers versus 1 inexperienced shooter? Yes, all responders need to reconsider their profession. These innocent babies and teachers were WAY more courageous than these 300+… You had babies putting their friends blood on themselves to play dead to survive and these officers were fully geared and its their profession and they could figure out how to kill and survive. 😩

So recently, one kid with a pistol and no back up, no body armor did more against an active shooter with an AR than the entire Ulvalde police department.

The full length video clarifies that the team had no cohesion, solid direction and confidence to do the job. The responders were clearly out of their element. Keystone Cops.

As a CQM/CQB instructor, there's a few issues that I see very commonly with videos of LE shootouts. Officers, across many departments, just don't seem to be indoctrinated with what we called 'will to fight, will to win'. A few basics (and these are very basic) foundations of CQB (Close Quarters Battle): 1. Gain and maintain hostile contact. This is what I call 'will to fight'. You're actively seeking to engage the hostile and, once engaged, you maintain that engagement. 2. Report information rapidly, accurately and succinctly. Maintaining contact allows you to feed information on the threat's position, equipment, status, etc to friendly forces. 3. Utilize speed, surprise and violence of action...these are the three principles that should govern CQB. Lastly, I tell my guys that if they get into a firefight in a building, expect to get hit. Understand that getting hit doesn't mean you lie down or run away. Mentally, you need to prepare yourself every day to stay in the fight as long as you are physically able. Until you collapse from blood loss or pain response, you need to stay in the fight. This is what we call 'will to win'. More LE agencies need to adopt this type of training. I know it is offered (I am far from the only CQB instructor and I'd consider myself mid-tier in terms of training and experience level). There are many military veterans, especially from the Special Operations community, that offer courses that are not only foundations of CQB, but also with an emphasis on how LE needs to conduct it. Departments need to send officers to these trainings so that they are properly trained not just for massed shootings, but for any situation where they take fire inside a building.
He fired like 15 more shots at around 12:15pm.... 45 minutes into the shooting. How is it unclear if they could've saved those lives had they acted sooner????? Not to mention those who were shot could've received medical treatment within 5 minutes of the shooting starting had they entered immediately. Instead they had to lay there as they slowly bled out for what probably felt like hours as they wondered why no one was coming to help them....

Yeah... good luck to your gallow and your prison. Police officers are not required by law to protect citizens even if danger should occure. That means officers can say, under the circumstances, they felt to enter the classroom would be a suicide mission. They were also not trained for that type of situation.

IF these officers would like to make amends you need to do something for the survivors. Pay therapy bills, work with the community, check on the families. Drinking guilt away or putting it on someone else's inaction is not an excuse. 1) the old cop who ran in first didn't ask wait or seek permission. He ran while others didn't. 2) the mama who ran and was able to save her children and others she also didn't wait for permission or a tactical plan of action. It is time to remember our potential our history and supercede ourselves in doing things better. This was a failure turning schools into prisons is not a solution. Giving kids bullet proof back packs is not a solution. The solution is not making our American culture so desensitized to humanity that this shit has can grow and become just another Thursday. Americans should be free to go to the grocery shop and not fear death, go to the movies and not fear death, go to a parade and not fear death, go to a concert and not fear death. If your not willing to actually take the risk to serve and protect and put your life on the line to possibly save more life’s in the future you should not be allowed to become a cop or public servant. That’s just my thoughts though I would have rushed the door as soon as that first shield showed up at least I would have been able to protect myself enough to where I could have at least unloaded a full magazines into the direction of the shooter and allowed someone else behind me to take him out or completely rushed his position to at least pin him in even if I got my legs shot off. That’s just me though I was in the army and even we got this type of training.

Hmm there are 2 buttons 1. Wait more than an hour and let poor kids scream in pain and let them bleed out 2. Take more than 100 officers to stop one man with a rifle. Texes police department presses the first option

I mean, I'm not an expert here, but couldn't they have disabled the lights in the building & used a night vision team w/ riot shields to eliminate the threat ASAP?
Riot Shield wouldn't do shit against an AR-15 or rifle rounds, you need a heavy ballistic shield to stop that, which they didn't have with them. Turning off the light would only create chaos to your own guys waiting outside and cause a panic situation with lethal forces. Without any disorientation device like a flashbang, the only way to end that was to have someone willingly be the first man to enter the room to get shot at, while another person behind him pivot to the side and engage the gunman. But that is EXTREMELY risky and there's a high probable chance of being killed. This kind of "tunnel" situation is actually deadly even for the military that they've begun using land drone armed with camera and guns to handle this kind of setting. ruclips.net/video/LXgr_YErHDE/видео.html

Look up halligan. However if is complicated because of the side wall which mean you probably can't put the extra pole on to get more mechanical advantage. Also the amount of noise made the shooter probably going to be shooting at you the whole time.
@@sydtopia The strike plate didn't prevent the door from being unlocked. It made it more difficult to lock. You got it backward. The school admins knew about the problem since March. They testified that it took "substantial extra effort to force the door lock to engage" Effort the shooter would have no way of knowing. But to answer your question: how were officers supposed to know? Easy. The districts active shooter policy, WRITTEN BY CHIEF ARRENDANDO HIMSELF, expressly established that the chief will be incident commander upon arriving on scene. His first duty is to establish a command center in the admin offices. There he would get all the info he needed from staff to relay to officers. But he didn't do that. He ignored the policy that HE WROTE. But again, that striker plate made the door harder to lock, not unlock. So getting it unlocked would have been as quick and easy as locating a master key. Had the command center been established, that would have been very, very quick. Per the committee report (page 27): " People who had master keys included (director of maintenance) Harrison, Principal Gutierrez, Asst Principal Shawna Wolbert, Rob Instructional Coach Rebecca Guzman, Principal Gutierrez's secretary, Janette Martinez, and lead custodian Jamie Perez." If Arrendando been in the office where he was supposed to, there were at least 3 master keys in the room with him. His second in command, LT Mike Hernandez, also testified he had a master key.
Especially since some of them died at or on route to the hospital and especially since some of them were shot after cops had been on the scene for a while and failed to act.
All cameras must be in all schools running real-time and had there been one in that classroom police would know exactly where the shooter was at all times and could have quickly o empowered him. What I do not understand is the police had vests on. Not one stepped up to risk their lives to save these 19 kids and two teachers. Before Officers can wear military style ballistic armor with webbing, the latest high speed helmets and use high-powered rifles, perhaps they ought to learn a bit more about basic military stratagem. The foundations of CQB - SPEED, SURPRISE, VIOLENCE OF ACTION.

You cant go jumping in without a valid cause, this one was a valid one. Another issue is the many agencies that were in the AO.

As a CQM/CQB instructor, there's a few issues that I see very commonly with videos of LE shootouts. Officers, across many departments, just don't seem to be indoctrinated with what we called 'will to fight, will to win'. A few basics (and these are very basic) foundations of CQB (Close Quarters Battle):

300 officers and you could not take down one suspect wow that's insane how could you just let these children die like this😢
Too many cooks ...
Bunch of amateurs at best.
Morally corrupt at worst
Professional inept for sure.
not mention the biggest cowards we've ever witnessed in our lifetimes
Yes they could have saved more lives if they had engaged the shooter in those 3 minutes upon arrival but it’s clear they prioritize their lives
I hope they never forget their screams. I pray it haunts them forever.
No training by departments whatsoever, no equipment. I'm sure chief police officer is still sitting in his chair. A whole system is a failure
cowardly incompetence
Chaos? Seems pretty calm and lackadaisical to me. These cops did nothing NOTHING to protect these kids the school failed them the cops who aren’t deserving of their badges failed them and most importantly our country failed them it’s incredibly devastating and heart wrenching and i am so sorry to the children CHILDREN the teachers and their families all affected in this tragedy that keeps repeating itself ❤️😔🕊
Simply unbelievable
such incompetence.
Why didn't the guy with shield run in and charge him ,or some distract him by the door and others shoot him from the window
Your job is to put yourself in harms way. Your officers will be judged, as you let children die. Let that sink in!!
The cops were waiting for Spider-man to come do the job for them. 🥴🥴 Do yourself and everyone a favor, please turn in your badges. 📛📛
A bunch of cowards!
I think it’s amazing that the parents can speak their mind and anger to those coward of cops. Far too often you see legislators silence the public.
Just absolutely ridiculous police officers there are to protect those children did absolutely nothing, but let those children die 😢😢😢376 police officer on the scene. What a disgrace . 😢
After that deadly shooting none of my kids would've gone back to that school, too much trauma for them to relive it 😢
So Texas is planning an internal review???? This should be done by the Feds
Fed is already political and biased.
POLICE have NO LAWFUL DUTY to PROTECT "CHILDREN" or People:
The U.S. Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled again in (Castlerock vs Gonzales) Police Serve and Protect the corporate states, NOT the people of the states!
This Supreme Court ruling specifically says Police have NO LAWFUL DUTY to protect CHILDREN or PEOPLE! (Please read the tragic case!)
Qualified Immunity must be abolished from police officers for accountability.
- Michael B. Saari for State Senate 2022
Good luck!! People only believe what they want to believe. Sometimes we have to sit back at let them make a fool of themselves. Meaning they are looking for a needle in a haystack. What your information means to me is...there's an urgency to fix the problem. Gunmen are targeting our children. My fear is citizens only want a head!! To satisfy their selfish bitterness and hate, rather than the problem itself. This explains why so many Americans are scammed out of millions of dollars by INDIAN SCAMMERS.
Well this needs to change
If your not willing to actually take the risk to serve and protect and put your life on the line to possibly save more life’s in the future you should not be allowed to become a cop or public servant. That’s just my thoughts though I would have rushed the door as soon as that first shield showed up at least I would have been able to protect myself enough to where I could have at least unloaded a full magazines into the direction of the shooter and allowed someone else behind me to take him out or completely rushed his position to at least pin him in even if I got my legs shot off. That’s just me though I was in the army and even we got this type of training.
Than why we pay them for what. They sure know how to beat up cuffed victims. Or shoot disarmed citizens. Tons of courage for those matters. Egos with weapons
The fact is the cops were cowards asf
You need to show the full conversation with the Bortac officer. One of the officers tells him yes, there are kids in there.
The teacher that survived said that the kids were yelling out "officers we're in here!" did they mute that from the video also?
Why we have cops ...
Actually, this is what happens when you don’t have cops. These cowards are police wannabes at best.
It doesn't matter if it's unclear or not. 19 kids were killed and two teachers were taken, their not coming back. They didn't deserve to go that way. 😢
These are just edited videos that are being shown. What about the unedited that is being withheld from the public. They just keep hiding the truth.
Because the truth is that this was an active shooter drill 😳
Understand this is "The Footage" that Cops felt showed them in the "Best Possible Light" anyone reading let that sink in this is the Cops version of a "highlight reel". This is the best footage they could come up with after heavily edited the footage to try and show what THEY THE COPS ON SCENE DID. And the really scary part of all this because of the Supreme Court Rulings they will absolutely get away with it with no Punishment whatsoever and we will see this kind of responses happening from Police Nation Wide in these active shooter Situations all because of "OFFICER SAFTEY".
@@claycox1829 leave and take your lunacy with you.
Hmm there are 2 buttons
1. Wait more than an hour and let poor kids scream in pain and let them bleed out
2. Take more than 100 officers to stop one man with a rifle.
Texes police department presses the first option
the cops were just hoping the guy would shoot himself
I've never seen so many overweight police officers in the same place.
That ONE kid held off all that over paid tax dollars, defund the cowards
A veteran with a rifle killed 2 police officer and forced 6 others to retreat in his room
Watching this one right after the Nashville footage, this is just embarrassing….
(Smh Lmao at the same time) it gets real when it's not an unarmed black guy🤷 moral of the story if you need help say you're being attacked by unarmed black guy
The shooter could take the whole building lives if you take that long
I mean, I'm not an expert here, but couldn't they have disabled the lights in the building & used a night vision team w/ riot shields to eliminate the threat ASAP?

@@RoyalDog214 So the totally fine alternative to that is knowingly leaving a room full of school children to bleed out for over an hour? I know it's not a mandate of their job that they protect anyone, but the fact that nobody in that hallway was willing to risk their life to save these kids is indefensible to me. Whoever might've gotten shot taking this guy down would've received immediate medical attention and they knew it. The people in that classroom had nothing. People were dying in that room while listening to the police lollygag right in front of them.
I can't pretend to know for certain that I'd be able to step up in this situation and sacrifice myself, but I absolutely would not have been able to go on living if I had failed those kids the way that these cops did.
@@samg6940 There is always a wall of legal and logistical reasoning to back up cowardice, and only the satisfaction of doing the right thing to back up heroism. These men weren't there to save the lives of children, they were there to secure their next paycheck without any harm done to themselves. In that regard, they performed spectacularly.
@@RoyalDog214 you hit it on the nail. Everyone knows at least 1 cop likely would have been sacrificed to get into that room. I can totally understand why they didn’t want to just run directly into that door. My problem is that they stopped the parents that were brave enough to do it.
@@samg6940 I feel the same way. How do they live with themselves knowing they did absolutely nothing
These people took an oath to protect their community. They trained to become officers for a reason, to save people. Now I don't know why these so-called "officers" reasons were to train to be one, because they clearly aren't ready to go ahead with it. They were clearly wrong if they expected that they wouldn't ever have to do something dangerous in their whole lifetime of doing this job. You can never expect what is going to happen! Think before you decide to do something that can affect 100s of people and their families.
‘It’s unclear if any could have been saved if they acted sooner?’ Are you serious? Do you think everyone of those 21 who were murdered died instantly? No they lay there suffering some for an hour and a half. There were 17 who were injured. What about them? If you watch the entire clip from the school’s cameras it was utter chaos. They were milling around like they were working a parade route not working an active shooter at an elementary!
Just hearing that at a school is sad because of all of these poor kids who were injured and killed for no reason 😢
Unclear if lives could have been saved if they'd acted sooner? Are the investigators also incompetent?!
People died en route to hospital, that’s all the proof we need that some could’ve been helped
@@rayluby6659 absolutely!
The report is designed to spread responsibility and thin it. So that no individual takes the full blame.
No, they investigated themselves and found no wrongdoing.
The police need to get some sense they should have put him down as soon as he walked in
This is honestly a disappointment for the law enforcement
After Uvalde the police reactions on all incidents will be very harsh, the all country are calling the police coward.
Ali those people need to be fired
I thought they were suppose to run to the danger not run away from the danger. COWARDS !!
😡 these videos make me beyond angry those police officers were cowards. Just standing in the hallways while the kids are being shot. I just can't fathom this. 🙏🏻
I hope they got fired
That doofus brought gas, lmao. This is a drill for sure.
Sir if you can hear me, do you need room service and extra towels??? Sir??!!!
Exactly
COWARDS, all of them are armed and protected and they are scared for their lives?? what about the poor babies inside LOCKED with the active shooter, I honestly would never forgive my self if I was one of those officers
A breaching tool for an outswing door, lmao
Look up halligan. However if is complicated because of the side wall which mean you probably can't put the extra pole on to get more mechanical advantage. Also the amount of noise made the shooter probably going to be shooting at you the whole time.
I mean..... a breaching tool for an unlocked door.
@@facepalmdaily4404 the door was locked, however the strike plate was damaged. How were the officers going to know that was the case.
@@sydtopia oh really those doors can only be locked from the outside, who locked them in?
Per the committee report (page 27): " People who had master keys included (director of maintenance) Harrison, Principal Gutierrez, Asst Principal Shawna Wolbert, Rob Instructional Coach Rebecca Guzman, Principal Gutierrez's secretary, Janette Martinez, and lead custodian Jamie Perez."
If Arrendando been in the office where he was supposed to, there were at least 3 master keys in the room with him. His second in command, LT Mike Hernandez, also testified he had a master key.
"Unclear if responders could have saved lives if they acted sooner" my @$$ that's BS.
You have to replace with people who ARE willing to stand between the victims and the murderer and take him out. So much time elapsed. I do feel for the parents. Those precious children crying out for help and nine came in time.
they're just walking around with no sense of urgency??
