I’m trying so hard to lose weight. By round 4 I couldn’t do it anymore. I needed more than a 10 second break. This is the beginning of my fitness journey and I’m gonna need a lot of support
Just wanted to say this is awesome. I was in a really full bad mood today, I didn’t want to push myself to workout but I’m so glad I did because now I feel so great. To those of you doing this, whatever your fitness goals, wherever you are in life keep on going, self improvement, if that’s what you seek, is a sprint, not a marathon. It’s ok to have bad days, they will pass. Whatever you did in the past doesn’t matter. You can let it go and keep look forward for your future is shining bright. The very fact that you’re here watching this video is amazing, you are taking care of your body and your self and making the step to improve your life and that in itself is amazing. YOU are amazing. Never forget that. You are a living, breathing, feeling creation of love and brilliance. Even if it doesn’t feel that way every day. In fact, it wasn’t meant to. But you are a miracle. The chances of even being born in the first place are astronomically low. Yet you’re here. You made it. Wherever you are, keep on swimming. I’m not sure who needed to hear this, but I felt the need to say it.

I did this workout last night and had to only modify the bicycles with dead bugs because of my bad lower back, but this workout was awesome, I was sweating so much. And also, I love that you have the next move in the little video in the corner. It really helps us to prepare for the next move. Thanks for that.

What is sweating!!! Sweating does not means you are burning fat when your heart rate goes up then you burn fat. When you stand in sun you are also sweating but you do not burn fat.
I'm 67 years old, reasonably fit, and checking out tabata workouts. This is the first video I've seen of yours. First, thanks so much for not constantly smiling, whooping and shouting encouragement, telling me to KEEP IT UP! YOU CAN DO IT!! GREAT WORK!!! Did I mention I'm 67? I really appreciate your more low key, "Let's put in the work and get 'er done" approach. I've picked up my fifteen covid pounds and I'm looking to shed them. This is the very first workout I did of your videos close to 2 years ago. I've been consistent with your videos (finally) for close to a month now. Today I just did two tabatas (12-minute ones) back to back and I'm not even winded. Sweating but not out of breath. So cool. Thank you for what you are doing.

I love this work out. I have a 2.5 year old who consumes most of my mental energy so fitting in something is hard but this fits! I’ve had a stressful time of it lately and have been very much in my head, very anxious and not sleeping… but today I could commit to this short but effective session. The anxiety is falling back and I’m coming back….I’ve yawned a lot through this - just like an effective EFT session! Very interesting…. So extremely therapeutic on many levels. I do this workout twice, back to back, 2 times a week for a month. Then, I switch to one of her other workouts for a month. So far so good! Mahalo, Heather.
Good workout. Been doing this for about 1 month, on every other day. Went from not being able to complete the full series at one go, to now being able to complete the full series and then repeating the first set again. I like that it is simple and yet gives you a full body workout. Tried some other workouts but this one is still the best overall workout.

If you were to do these basic movements for 10 minutes without rest, you can expect a burn of 100-140 calories during the exercise. (Athlean X does a great job of explaining this)
Didn’t get far with the 10 days…! But day 4 complete… Felt so good and it make my body up and as I’ve stopped I’ve felt myself go back to the state of sluggishness… managing self, toddler and scatter brain… this helps.
WOW!!! I started with 4 min routine a week ago & gave this a try....man oh man!!! This is a great routine for only 2 exercises a circuit, I was out of breath by the middle of the last circuit. The time goes by so fast. I love it. Thank you.
Day 3 of 10 days of T! (Missed yesterday due to getting out in the great outdoors with toddler so being forgiving). Love it. Manageable in head body and life.
Okay. So, I did this workout for the first time yesterday, and i was literally dying by halfway. Today, I did it, and by the time I got to the last exercise, I was all pumped up and ready for the next one, but then it was the end of the video. I kid you not, I literally said "That's it?" Woman, goddess, sorceress, you are working wonders on me. Thank you.
@@denisa8912 yes definitely, it's working. My body is weird, I've never seen myself ever lose weight, but this exercise is keeping me from gaining extra weight, and I'm developing muscles :) I'm sure for other people with normal functioning bodies, they'll lose weight though

tabata is supposed to be done at full speed you shouldn't be able to breath or talk, if its easy like this you didnt go fast/hard enough, its supposed to burn fat up to 24/48 hours after work out, I can't even do a real full tabata, lyzabeth Lopez has good ones for example of how it should really look/be
Done 2 sets everyday for 4 days. The first 2 sets were like hell, and it became less and less hell. I don’t want to skip a day but go on and on and increase sets. I will comment everyday after this tabata 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
This was a great finisher to a strength no repeat work out session! Got my cardio in at 20 seconds each was perfect! I love Tabata workouts! Active cal around 80 highest HR 145. Thank you Heather for all the varieties of work out!
Great sequence! I really like the variety of moves and the alternation of standing and mat moves. I add a 3-4 minute break at the end of Round 4 to get my pulse back to base (so that I can really sprint on the next cycle). I've also started boosting the intensity of some moves e.g. alternating jumping jacks with star jumps.

This is the perfect workout now that I'm teaching virtually; it keeps me from getting too sedentary. It also fits right in to my prep and/or lunch periods, and with plenty of time left over to get things done. There's no excuse for not fitting this into your day! Thank you Heather!

@@tayylorfierce6823 I did & still do the complete 12 minutes. At first week, since I never do any sports ever, it was so hard for me to do some of the moves. If I can't finish, it's okay, I just sit, take a breath & wait the 🔔 bell for the next move. I might not be able to do the complete 12 minutes, but I never skip a day doing this. After a week, I can do it completely. Now, I even do twice a day, morning & afternoon. I am 89 kg now. This workout works so well.

I feel really good after this which is my first Tabata workout , and breaking all the myths that says like "you have to workout for 1hr or 2hrs" which I failed in not working arms. I feel really good after this workout, and am greatefull for that !!! ❤️♥️❤️
I've tried a lot of workouts already and I'm frustrated because I don't see any significant changes yet. But, I'll still try this and hope that more intense workouts will help me improve :> I'll do this for a week and I'll keep you guys updated! Weight: 59kg DAY 1: done! I was able to manage it but I had a long break before continuing the last two rounds. DAY 2: done! I love all of Heather's body and abb workouts. Very well explained with what exercise is coming next so you are prepared and the 10 second rest periods are awesome. Much better than the other tabata workouts .
I burn about 100 kcal on this tabata. I am 155 cm tall. You have to remember that after such training, calories are burned even after several hours! This is my favorite tabata. 🥰 I exercise every other day. After a while it is very easy to do. I recommend to everyone! and thank you Heather♥️

I love all of Heather's body and abb workouts. Very well explained with what exercise is coming next so you are prepared and the 10 second rest periods are awesome. Much better than the other tabata workouts .

I burn about 100 kcal on this tabata. I am 155 cm tall. You have to remember that after such training, calories are burned even after several hours! This is my favorite tabata. 🥰 I exercise every other day. After a while it is very easy to do. I recommend to everyone! and thank you Heather♥️
