- Finally got to install the Fujitsubo headers on my 2015 WRX! It was overall a pretty easy install and everything fit great! Fujitsubo provides you with all the hardware needed, so it's pretty straight forward! Unfortunately, in this video, I couldn't rev it too much because it wasn't tuned and i didn't want to give away too much of the FMIC and BOV noise :D see you guys next time!

Awesome glad to see you still doing the work. So many people waste 💰💰💰💰 paying someone to install mods. When just taking the time and figuring it out can save them enough to buy more parts.

while I agree. it is nice to not deal with the headaches and if you don't have a lift. I never paid anyone to do any of my work but being that I am getting older. Just turned 31. I am starting to want to start paying people to install headache stuff on my wrx. I def am paying someone to put a downpipe in for me lol
While I can agree with this statement, having other people do work for you can make things a little more worry-free since you know you personally didn't mess up an install, and having a warranty on the work done. Some people also do not have the time to work on their own cars, but have the income to have somebody else do it for them. Regardless, people still love to drive their car no matter who built it!
Fyi, just did my Nameless turbo back exhaust and Perrin header on my new 2018 WRX. When u dropped my turbo I left the j-pipe on and just disconnected the j-pipe from the exhaust, removed the 6 manifold bolts and the 2 bolts that hold onto the turbo to the engine. Leaving the j-pipe on makes it super easy.

I did a number of mods to my 2015 WRX with 70K miles on it and man did I have an issue with that upper right difficult bolt. So much rust on the heat shield bolts I had to destroy my heat shield by bending it back and forth after getting some of the bolts off. But I had rounded out the nut. The Stud would NOT come out. I even got a stud remover and it sheared off the stud tip. Then I had no choice but to go to a few shops until I found one in the Bronx which is Meinike. They used their welder to destroy the nut leaving only the stud. So I had only 1 stud on the car (got the other 3 off with breaker bar ratchet). Only after that drove back to my fathers (can't work where I live on cars or even wash them) and installed J pipe down pipe. It is an Invidia which is hooked to my Corsa catback muffler. Only other difficult part was the front oxygen sensor. Had to resort to using vice pliers on it. Had to use foot to kick/push it breaking it free. I have had the car undercoated professionally at one point then every so often spray undercoat spray cans on it but the salt/rust gets to parts no matter what. At least I know that if I need to do headers I can probably break the bolt free easily enough since I put anti seize on every bolt. Sorry I did such a long reply can list all my mods but too tired. I agree with other poster that many folks spend money paying someone to install mods. It is the experience you gain and satisfaction afterwards. Sure it can be grueling and hell doing this at times but hey you did that yourself and damn it should damn well be proud of that! Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. I have stock headers still might upgrade those along with the turbo I don't know. Currently I need/want to save money and spending on these types of things is so tempting to do. Once you start modding it never ends lol.

I noticed you had oil drip on you when pulling the stock headers/turbo off, did you need to empty out your oil before the install? Or was this just a minor bit and it's not anything to worry about? Love the car and sound man! Just looking at upgrading my headers and was curious, thanks for any info!

Awesome job dude!! Do all 2015+ WRX have turbos mounted under the engine bay and do all of the come with equal length headers? And did you go equal length headers because of the performance advantage?
Ben Galvez Yes to all questions, and unequal length headers wouldn't work with a twin scroll turbo such as this one. They don't make unequal length headers for the 2015+ WRX.

Are you going to do a turbo at the same time as the intercooler ? Thought we might have seen it done at the same time as the header instal. Def would work well with those headers making her breath that much easier

Bro I got a stage 2 17 and I'm concerned how that motor will hold up the power of the headers? I've done extensive searching and have come up with the conclusion the motor will pop shortly after anything past stage 2+. I've been thinking about headers but my findings have stopped me so hopefully his shit holds up.
