It's been a long long time. I appreciate the patience everyone. Just know, there wasn't a single day that went by that I didn't want to put something else out. There wasn't a moment of time that my team didn't work their butts off. This delay was all my own doing, and I don't wanna say it's worth it... but I do want to say this is maybe the piece I am most proud of so far. I never want to sacrifice quality for quantity, but gosh dang do I miss sharing these stories with you all.
I hope you enjoy, or enjoyed. Have a wonderful day friends, and go forward in your lives today with the conviction and fearlessness that those Toyota teams had standing up to Nissan in 1997.

The F1's BWM V-12 Engine have a Horse Power Control that can be adjusted more than 600 HP. If the organizers allowed the F1 it should have been in the SUPER GT Class and asked the RX7, Supra, NSX, Skyline and GTO in the race to modify their cars up to more than 600 HP and a suspension and weight tuned to that power for a fair race! Of course the F1 should also comply! I know there is no coincidence in this world, everything happens for a reason but it was an IDIOTIC mistake from the organizers of Japan Grand Touring Championship. I wish Japan still sells the DVD or VHS of the Entire 90's up to early 2000's JGTC complete race seasons! This is the result of an entire lifetime spent working on a craft, endless nights spent writing, researching, editing, voice overs rerecorded, endless youtube tutorials about sound balancing, souring VHS tapes, magazines, laserdiscs from japan, reading endless websites, results of races, literally watching the entire seasons of JGTC in japanese and trying to translate statements with AI when I need to know what they're saying.

As a kid playing GT and GT4 the Toyota Castrol Tom's Supra became ever since my favorite car in these games. Whenever possible it was my option to race. I did not even know about the facts from this video, I could just tell it was special.
I was also a big Toyota fan and that of course sparked the attention.

How does anyone come up with these? The information, footage, the high quality editing.
It's not like you can just type "car" in wikipedia so it gives you the full historical context.
This is real dedication; no wonder it takes so long.

A lot of work. Magazine articles. Translating old articles from Japan. Facebook historians. I bought VHS tapes and DVDs and translated those. I watched every race from Japanese accounts on RUclips

Great story and really well presented. Very much enjoyed this!
Never been a Supra fan myself, always preferred the Nissans they competed against, but that these cars were and remain iconic for good reason is beyond question

Same here friend. I kinda made this video so that I myself could have more perspective into why the Supra is so beloved. I’m 100% a GT-R man myself still.

LOVE the mugen NSX as well. You saying one pulled out early broke my heart a little. New NSXs lack those beautiful long block rear lights that made the 90s one stand out so much from their competitors. New ones look like they could’ve been designed by any number of other car companies (like Ferrari or McLaren)

He gave coffee a shoutout 🥲 but no seriously, this was an amazing documentary. I can see now why Kazunori was excited to bring GT3 to the masses to feature this legendary beast. it had anger, resilience, perseverance, beauty, and desire all wrapped up in one package ready to deliver for Toyota and Japan. Thanks for this backstory. Can't wait to see future ones.

This is one of those channels that is exactly why YT is such a gem of a platform. A lot of grabage and nonsense on here but then theres also channels like this that put together these absolutely beautiful pieces of cinema art while teaching people like me who know jack shit about this subject something genuinely awesome. Channels like this with this type of effort and quality help these stories live on forever and in such a beautiful way.
Thank you and your team for what yall do and bring us🤞🏽

Thank you my friend, that kinda feedback really motivates us all to keep going. It's what I love about this most, sharing the knowledge. These things happened, these people gave their all to create these machines and compete, its a honor to help carry on their story to others. And yes, I agree, the freedom of expression on RUclips is its greatest strength. I could never make content like this working for someone else, or making a TV show or some other form of content where I have to appease advertisers or broadcast standards. So glad to have this outlet.

@the.squidd nah thank yall! Fr absolutely beautiful work. It's so cool to me knowing that if I happen to accomplish something that's significant to my lil ol life that one day in the future there's some random person out there who's passion it is to make tv like productions if not even better on me and a legacy can live forever through productions like these.
I know nothing of cars or racing and have binged every video on this channel and all of these people's legacys in your videos would have never been known to me if not for these vids. It's quite beautiful.
P.s. take as much time as yall need in between videos ppl like me will still be here and ready to watch when yall drop
