Great channel. I just watched 5 of your pieces (episodes feels to underwhelming a term in this instance), and loved them all. I love the passion. Fantastic work. 🏎️
This is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen good job I am really impressed
F1 drivers would prefer to drive JGTCC. If hell for them is racing forever, this would be heaven.
First, the best video magazine I have ever witnessed. Second, I am not even done with the video and I had to comment. Third, as a young adult(45 now), Gran Turismo 3 makes sooo much more sense now.
The 2JZ could make a TON more power considering it's 3.0L, cast iron block, and special piston rods. My understanding is that the issue was that to combat the weight difference you'd have to make ridiculous power that would not lend itself well to a race track car vs say a drag car. It also added significant weight to the front of the car making weight distribution worse for handling. Seeing as they are a Toyota race team they could do things that normal people couldn't like swap the engines, shift the powertrain placement back, tune the suspension, etc. Let's not pretend you were going to make 1,500HP or more on the 503E.
So aggravating that nissan kept dominating toyota in the beginning dude i fuckin swear
Awesome!!!!❤❤❤ amazing...
He gave coffee a shoutout 🥲 but no seriously, this was an amazing documentary. I can see now why Kazunori was excited to bring GT3 to the masses to feature this legendary beast. it had anger, resilience, perseverance, beauty, and desire all wrapped up in one package ready to deliver for Toyota and Japan. Thanks for this backstory. Can't wait to see future ones.
I thought bro died from monkey pox
One thing: Bavarian. Not German, they sit in Hannover.
Do not fuck with the Jesus! A long time ago in galaxy far far away the AMG GLR made the Kessel Run in under 10 parsecs.
I don't really like the look of the Mk. 4 but I have a whole new respect for it after seeing this video.
incredibly well done video, watching it brought back that feeling I had when I lived in Japan in the late 90s!
しかし外人はほんとゴジラって表現好きだよな やっぱ羊の皮を被った狼だろスカイラインは
What a beauty! I'm an arborist in the area if you ever want a free tree inspection I'd be happy to trade for a quick ride around the block (obviously as a passenger)
I know it's probably just for the video, but to say that the NSX is forgotten is just wrong. Maybe its numbers are laughable now, maybe its stylings show their age, maybe it was a winner for only a blink of an eye in history, but the NSX is ABSOLUTELY a historical car that is remembered fondly by more than just enthusiasts.
💪🏻💪🏻
Your way of intro to the video gives me goosbumbs man 😂😂
And I learned a lot bro seriooo
Appreciate it! Glad we're helping keep these stories and legends alive!
Love all your videos brotha keep it up just good content and good work brotha seriously
Bro make a video on rivalship between mitsubishi and subaru
kinda already did! And have more planned.
I am sad about discovering your channel so late! Wish i found it earlier ♥

What an amazing vid...i still have chills and ive watched this twice..I struggled with this knowing Honda was no where to be seen. Finely honed Samurai Swords fight to the death
"It' doesn't matter what happens, the cameras rarely cut away from the battle" *HEY LIBERTY MEDIA, LISTEN THE FUCK UP*
This was really well done. Earned a sub from me.
thanks friend!
What a great video! Editing and narration are top notch. Thanks man!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
amazing story, loved the McLaren dominance, hated the McLaren exclusion and loved the Tom's Supra victory. the most iconic vehicles of all time battling it out (not forgetting about the skylines, the Porsches, the RX7s the NSXs)
Honestly every mazda ive driven has been an experience. Even the b2200s i used to own had soul. I drove a couple regular rx8s and an r3 and wow. They have so much personality! My mom had a nc mx5 gt 2.0 fully loaded, had all the options and i miss thst car so much. Mazda knows how to make a vehicle that truely makes you feel. I remember how you feel the road and the engine and the gears its like you become part of the car when you are driving! Its incredible.
I constantly think about how absolutely wonderful the MX-5 I owned was, how fun it was to drive, how well made it was for such a cheap little car. Mazda is really something special.
They are truly missed, that magnificent machines. Still owning Evo 9 in red, true mechanical piece of art, and still driving it on snow.
0:27 - Not that one
Elon is lazy and uninspired? Wtf
I will never forget the first time I saw this car. Immediately falling in love with not just the visual aspect, but the overall presence and sound of the car itself. I’d already fallen in love with the 2nd Gen GS400, the ISF and now seeing Toyota/Lexus follow up with the LFA… I knew from that day forward I would own every single car that carried the F badge. I just got an ISF, working on an RCF and will be getting a GSF soon after that. I will have an LFA.
Ughhh I love all the F carsssss. I'd love to have a GSF or RCF one day!
It took me 3 month to watch this, but boy am I happy that i finaly got the Time. Such a great Story and Documentory, cant wait to see the JGTC Episode❤❤❤❤
The corvette should not have worked, and yet… it did
and still does!
😂😂😂to beat Godzilla you have fight it R33 is not a Godzilla 😂
By almost all metrics the R33 was a bigger monster. It was just that the world had kinda caught up with Nissan by then.
What car story is next?
Something about an old man, some very small cylinders, and a bit of italian influence.
@the.squidd I'm surprised you haven't done a vid on the 787b yet
Great story..thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
It's an intriguing car, but comparing it to the McLaren F1 is a bit unreasonable. The next step in automotive evolution was Koenigsegg, whose subsequent creations have been nothing short of extraordinary. Remarkably, Koenigsegg achieves this without outsourcing engine production, making their accomplishments even more impressive. The only components not engineered and manufactured in-house are the car's tires.
Toyotaaaaaa
This video is more relevant today than ever. Current day is November 15th, 2024. The r35 made it's final swing last month, and so did Iron Mike,
i had to pause during the first half, absolutely awesome video and lots of goosebumps

If you can't tell, I like to talk A LOT
Mitsu just bought back 10.02% back from Nissan lowering Nissans control to 24.05%
I was a young man in my early twenties during this time. It was a glorious period of racing.
That was an amazingly well done video. I was always curious about TOM's and SARD Supras from playing GT. It's a shame the BTCC couldn't do the same in the old RS500 era, just spat their dummies out and banned the car.
Can't wait to talk BTCC!
I owned an R33 and found it really disappointing. It felt too big and heavy. It felt slow to react. It didn't even feel that well built. It always put a smile on my face when I looked at it though. But compared to the Honda Prelude and MR2 I owned, the handling was nothing to write home about.
Had you driven an R32 before that? Did it feel bad in comparison to that? From everything I read the R33 was a better car, but maybe not in the ways some enthusiasts wanted. It should've felt stiffer though, it was supposedly FAR better made.
@the.squidd I've not driven an R32, but from what I can tell, it was better than the R33 although not nearly as pretty. My guess is performance is not going to be far off the R33 when size and weight is factored in. Part of my issues were the electronics doing too much instead of letting me drive.
