This is like a year late, but one important difference to note is that the RS memory only has 6 LEDs per stick, whereas the RT has 10. The SL should also have 10, though the number isn't specified on Corsair's website. Great video though, super informative!
It's never too late!! Corsair updated there website like right after I posted this video specifying their LEDs! When looking at both it was hard for me to notice but I bet it's noticeable once you start individually adjusting the colors instead of me seeing the default rainbow side by side. Just wanted to point out a few differences between the RT and the RS in case they were missed. AMD is more picky when it comes to memory. Therefore while the RS is only optimised for Intel, The RT though optimised for AMD works better with Intel than the RS. RT is the only model that has a CAS 16 option on 3600mhz modules. RT also has more LEDs than the RS, 10 instead of 6 I think. Therefore, AMD or Intel, RT is the better choice if the slightly higher price is no issue.

Hi, could you help me with this? So I'm building an Ryzen set up and wanted some white looking rams and found out that the SL model has a variant that is almost completely white while the RT (which is suposed to be optimized for Ryzen) does not, it just has a white triangle shape in it, but the frencuencies and all other aspects are the same. Would it be really worth it to buy the SL (due to its completely white design) eventhough is not optimized for Ryzen? or does it really make a difference to have Ram optimezed for your cpu? As in the RT version. Thanks and keep up the good job.
i mean it works hella fine even if it does not have optimisations for a certain cpu. Look at those optimisations like a buff, but, yeah, it works fine without any drop of fps compared to the other one. The real difference is the cpu frequence. At least get a 3000+
Hey Okabe! In your situation, the white SL would be the way to go. You would get more benefit out of a beautiful white designed kit of ram in your PC than a non-all-white kit even with the small bump of performance. You could go with the RT but I feel like if you're vibing with a white look which I don't think the RT will satisfy. Amazon is also awesome so you could order both and return the kit you want. Hope that helps Okabe and feel free to ask anymore questions!

And could you recommend any other RGB Ram besides the Corsair and Trident Z ones?
Thanks for watching Granat! Yeah the market has been up and down recently for RAM prices. You can't go wrong with either of them but that RT price isn't bad! It was the most expensive option in the US when I made this video. Other RGB RAMs that I have tried I didn't like the software to control it. I has been awhile so maybe that has changed.
RT version can be considered for intel use ?specially for lga1700 ddr4 it has more frequencies variances . since ddr5 bit high when it comes with pricing .
12:00 Correction. RGB configuration is NOT the same in RT and RS. RS has only 6 individually addressable LEDs where the RT has 10 individually addressable LEDs. So the RT's RGB animation flow is way smoother than the RS. Corsair Vengeance RGB RT FTW 😋

@@AprilMayRain 3200 is OC speed not SPD, SPD speed is without the oc profile (Intel XMP or AMD EXPO) activated, if the RAM runs 3200 with Intel XMP activated, the SPD speed cant be 3200 too, it has to be lower, normally SPD should be 2133 or 2666 for DDR4

i mean it works hella fine even if it does not have optimisations for a certain cpu.
Hope that helps Okabe and feel free to ask anymore questions!
the amount of energy you have at the beginning actually gave me a shock..
You might be new to the channel but that's just me being myself✌🏻💯😁

Great Video! Im currently looking for 2x16gb DDR4 3600mhz cl16 ram to upgrade my pc and noticed the huge price difference between de RGB RT, RGB Pro SL and the Trident Z rgb. While the RGB RT only costs 130€ the Trident Z costs 180€ and the RGB Pro SL from Corsair more than 200€! I honestly dont understand why the Price Differenc is so huge. Do you have an idea? And could you recommend any other RGB Ram besides the Corsair and Trident Z ones?
Thanks for watching Granat! Yeah the market has been up and down recently for RAM prices. You can't go wrong with either of them but that RT price isn't bad! It was the most expensive option in the US when I made this video. Other RGB RAMs that I have tried I didn't like the software to control it. I has been awhile so maybe that has changed.
Same for me, i'm going to choose 2*16 SL 3600 MHz CL18

For $50 is the RS model still worth it? The rest are at least $90. Sorry for my English
If you are on a budget, I would say the RS model is still worth it 👍🏻👍🏻
Dude you deserve a huge round of applause 👏. This video was absolutely informative and helpful keep ‘em coming.
Thanks ZZZ! I'm going to have DDR5 content soon that I'm excited about making!
RT version can be considered for intel use ?specially for lga1700 ddr4 it has more frequencies variances . since ddr5 bit high when it comes with pricing .

Got the RGB pro which is still good even now.
Good choice!💯
@@AprilMayRain thank you.
12:00 Correction. RGB configuration is NOT the same in RT and RS. RS has only 6 individually addressable LEDs where the RT has 10 individually addressable LEDs. So the RT's RGB animation flow is way smoother than the RS. Corsair Vengeance RGB RT FTW 😋

just received 2x 64 gb kits of RS 3600. didnt see any notification of amd or intel optimization in the ad i purchased it from newegg on. but it should work just fine with my 5950x system. ran corsair ram for the last 20 years or so and have only had issues on one kit awhile back that came mismatched from the factory but was fixed by corsair quickly
Nice! The RS will do great in your system. Yeah I think I will stick with Corsair ram for now. Been really liking their kits!
Thanks for the vid, but does the RT look irl a little like frozen cause of the triagles? would be interested in that
I see how you can see that! At a close distance, it kind of has that "frozen" effect but it's subtle. The triangles aren't like the Gskill Royals and I would call those a full frozen effect.
I only have notification setup for you April and like one other channel. For some reason you seem like the most genuine RUclipsr on this platform. Really wish you would post more🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hello, I have a really quick question. So I'm only missing my RAM for my pc and I really need the RT CL16 but when I search it up it shows C16 only. Are both of these the same? And my processor is a Ryzen 5 5500
Hi Rairly! Yes they are both the same. Some companies/manufacturers will just use "C" for short. And all 3 of these RAMs are compatible with your Ryzen 5 5500! Hope that helps!
Very detailed, but tad bit too long, other than that, great video.
What I get from this is that the performance differences are very minimal, so choose the one that's cheapest at the time or pick the one with the model that you like.
Thank for your comment and I love your name!! Yeah even with how fast I try and cover everything it still ends up being way too long of a video😄
Cheers n thanks !

Hi, could you help me with this? I looking for a KIT RAM (2x32 GB) for 5900x/x570i build. I mainly work video, animation and casual gamer. What option do you recomender? is a Corsair Vengeance RGB RT or GSkill TridentZ NEO the best options? some else? Thank u so much for reading
Hi!! I would go with the Corsair Vengeance RGB RT or SL if you have any other corsair products or plan on getting any. The GSkill is a great choice too if controlling your RGB isn't a priority. Corsair has better software to control RGB
Hey, I ordered the RS version without knowing the differences between these sticks.. Will I be fine if I pair it with Ryzen 5 5600X?
Yes Acolytes! You should be perfectly fine pairing the RS with your 5600X. Let me know if you have any issues tho!

can you also control the RGB lights with iCue? because I heard it will not working with Intel
@@FLAMINeu iCue and the RGB lights in my RT work, no problems... but I could see it possibly not working with an incompatible or older motherboard. I have 4 sticks of 16GB for a total of 64GB and my mobo is a MSI Tomahawk Mag Z690 with an i7-12700K CPU.
@@FLAMINeu It depends on the Motherboard but it should work with the majority of Intel systems.
Hey man,
There is two version of RT (3600mhz & 3200mhz)
Which one is the best you think?
3600mhz for the extra leeway but if you're not gonna be OCing up to that point at all, just get 3200mhz. It's cheaper.
The 3600mhz will perform better but the 3200mhz will still kick a**. All about the cost difference and availability.
I’m replacing my current 2x8gb 3200 cl16-18-18-36 Corsair with the 2x16gb 3600 cl16-20-20-38 RT kit, will this be generally the same latency or are the higher timings on the RT kit going to be noticeably worse? I’m using a z690 mag tomahawk and i5-12600k btw thanks
Hi! Your new 2x16gb 3600 cl16-20-20-38 RT kit will be noticable better over your 2x8gb 3200 cl16-18-18-36. The jump from 16gb to 32gb will make any worry you have for timings and latency go away😊 If you we going from 2x8gb 3200 cl16-18-18-36 to 2x8gb cl16-20-20-38 then that's when the CAT and MHz becomes a noticeable factor.
