Either nobody elses camera/mic does the n54 justice or budget bimmers have the best sounding 335s on the planet. Either way these guys have the absolute best 335 content on the internet and the best n54 sounds you will find!
Picking up my first n54 powered car next week and im also an exhaust fabricator soooooo... I’m gonna experiment till it sounds like the best one around lol

I just installed this clutch (SST) with jack stands by myself, took me about 16 hours :P. Make sure you replace the Aluminum E18 Bolts if you have them (2007 335i coupe), they will brake if you try to re torque them to 53 f/t. When mounting the trans back taike off the trans mount bracket, it will make it a lot easier to slide the trans into the flywheel ( I had to tilt the trans from the back of it ) !!!!

Hey guys how much does it cost for a good shop in parts and labor to do a single turbo N54? I'd do the labor myself but I neither have the space or time
That's why we were born with two kidneys my son.
About 5-6k
U will spend 10 k . Around there . Everything done
@@heatchamps2011 the doc kit alone is 5k so with all the other supporting mods it's probably at least 10k alone in parts, I have no idea how much the labor would be

That turbo is fucking monstrous, was that a n54 twin turbo before? I just got a n55 335xi and blew up the stock charge pipe (noob) did the stage 1 mhd, I'm kinda nervous cause I can't find o ring and hope it didn't get sucked up throttle body, new pipe should be here in a few days hoping to find o ring when I drop the engine tray. Sick what you guys did to this car.

It seems there’s not a lot of people going 64+ on this car. I saw doc race offers a 67 and a 68 but can’t find anyone who’s actually installed one. Would it just be way too much lag?

Shift though is only difference. There is a shop near me that’s cracked the code and builds a killer auto for the n54 that picks up serious time compared to manual. Can anyone link me to a full build list?

Hi. Are additional fuel injectors additionally installed in this modification? Or is it only powerful with direct injection?
yes - for full E85 we installed a BMP port injection kit that has bosch 750cc injectors.
What types of lifts were those you used to jack the car? Also can I bring you out to Reno to help do mine? I got you on a room downtown! Haha

The "bimmer" is the budget part. You get the shit box for cheap because you'll need the extra money for all thr maintenance and go fast bits.
