Should of got a long runner manifold and 4 inch exhaust with that turbo. 6870 would of been better choice with restrictive manifold.
@@blrn54 the volumetric efficiency doesnt change with the intake manifold. that turbo is just creating back pressure as the n54 head cant even flow that much volume. you can make 890whp with a 6266 lol
Over on the n54 forums, it's all about RB or Pure turbos, or Doc Race or Speedtech.
When I saw the white 135i track build on Hoonigan Autofocus, I new I wanted to try out the new kid on the block.
I've been eyeing the GTX3582R kit for a while, since before the CES website got the redesign.
Glad you guys are making good business! I want you guys to stay alive so I can buy the kit later when I have the means to upgrade my car. (I need to buy a house with a garage to work on it first, haha.)

Any chance the awd kit also works for the e60s? I know it would require relocation of ac line, brake lines and expansion tank but wasn’t sure if the motor mount was a deal breaker.

Awesome build's guys. I didn't know a DCT can handle that much power. I heard 650 crank HP was the max!? Btw my EU e93 335i 4/2009 has a 7-speed DCT. Dutch regards, Nico.
If you upgrade the clutches it can handle much more than that, in excess of 850whp

Those are not FWD, they are real cars made RWD. And some are AWD. Mainly a RWD platform and the AWD is rear biased.

I'm no engineer, but out of curiosity, in a straight six you have 3 pairs of pistons that go in sync, would it be even more efficient if you channeled the three pairs of exhaust ports to the turbo instead of the two sets of three?

I know the F10 has the same engine but does the kit fit. I’ve seen a lot of down pipe kits etc that are made for the 3 series but not the 5 series…

I love my N54 Its a powerful and hard to beat but I can't stand the maintaining . Alot of things break and fall apart im considering selling it HPFP,turbos,Termostat,valve cover, water pump . I mean the list keeps going and I have already replaced all of this stuff but its a car that you have to have cash to dump into it .
They have aftermarket stronger parts for a reason...don't cheap out

Yes, much needed info. I have a N54 Z4 with a DCT and need to know if it'll hold up if I choose to go with more power.. Currently @ just over 600 to the wheels.
From what I hear over 600 whp it's just a matter of time before the clutches will slip. Do you have xhp? If not get it. Been running 26 psi for over a year with it but street use only
