I'm actually getting ready to purchase the 6266 kit from DocRace. Just getting everything else needed fuel pump, new oil cooler, plugs, pcv valve (lost the one I bought lol). Video is really informative but because mine is a daily....I don't know if I can do it on my own. Lack of tools and time to actually do it.
I have a F30 335 n55 and it would be my daily. Driving something that sound like that everyday would be great. I just want to go with the bottom mount cast kits instead, they seem to be less of a headache.

Mr Panda I havnt contacted Docrace about it, I'm assuming it was either the aftermarket motor mounts I put in or possibly a problem when the manifold was made. Either way I made is work so I don't plan on taking it out anytime soon 😅

Hey budgetbimmers can y'all help me..I'm trying to set up my 2step relay with the jb4 g5 to my 335i 09 sedan and apparently I got the cables all good but I still can't get it to work..I tried searching shit up and no videos on RUclips that actually shows the process and the steps on installing a 2step relay and actually setting it on the jb4 setting thing.... please can you make a video about it...it would help me a lot thanks.
Sup Guys great DIY... Quick Question, I had the QTP Valve on my Evo VIII and w wmi and 25psi (stock coldside, 10.5 hotside) the car made 15 whp + and 60lbs/ft torque w catless DP and 3" Single cutout valve open vs closed...the 15 extra hp was peak, at some points lower there were gains as high as 30hp 65 torque I currently have an M2 FBO, WMI and a 3" Cutout. I run 22psi w wmi and I also have a DEI Cry02 c02 Intercooler sprayer which changed the effieciency range on turbo and allows you to run 22psi cold air to 6k rpms vs 5k without c02 and I mean it makes peak power at 22, so I know its not just blowing hot air inro the boost taper. Question is since m2 has an N55 variant thats a cross of N54/N55/S55 (forged internals, M4 pistons rods crank, treated crank bearings...etc... Have you dynoed the car valve open vs closed? It obviously elimimates lag, evacuates heat efficiently but I was wondering what kind of power gains you saw at 22psi open vs closed? Open I instantly take a 3 -4 gain on ANY s55, 335 n55 or n54, 135s n54, f8X M4, it lt also gives me a linear power band as boost tapers from 22 to 17, timing ramps to10-15*Depending on weather, octane, FMIC soak, temp, I have BMS Intake, VRSF CPs, VRSF 5" Stepped WMI...Summer Ill run 50% Meth, 50% Freezing ( even some ice chunks) water and its much more of a noticable diff than boost juice, or premix wiper fluid. Im guessing on my M2 the turbos range is 20psi at 5k dropping to 16psi to redline....between WMI (W freezing water) C02 spraying a -20 *F wiperfluid soaked huge FMIC with 1200 PSI of Pure C02 (Bench test (see youtube channel) ) As low as -55*F and when soaked with -20 washer fluid it slowly freezes and stays well below -40 for at least a few minute...On the street, yes there's warm air passing through, but you also have ice melting and denatured alcohol...Both evaporate faster than water and the warmer it is the faster they turn to gas making for a a combo of radiant cooling and evaporative cooling.,. Sorry for the drawn out comment, but Valves open to closed aside from it feeling faster have u put down and hard numbers to tell you???? If so what rpm range is your largest gain vs delta?
DAN M3 I have yet to get this thing on a dyno, soon I'll be getting a tune from EMP tuning to see where she's at now. I don't have any valve on my car currently but I'd be curious to see gains from an open dump at the downpipe
Ive noticed from open vs closed dynos and my own evo huge torque gains and goods average (not peak HP gains)...BC how WHP is calc Torque x 5250 divided by 5250 = HP....Torque gains and lower hp gains mathematically mean highe rRPM peak HP. You have a huge amount of air going through a restrictive muffler so Im guessing youlL have serious gains in both hp and torque, less in mine but still substantial bc a relatively large amount of exhaust pasing through a single pipe...Please LMK and if i get on a dyno ill tell uu

I have N55 and I thought it was slow. After FBO, some E85, and MHD it rips!!! I cant imagine single turbo n54 #slightlyjealous

Edward Ellison you just need a tune. Since they have jb4, jb4 has a single turbo map already and using mhd as the back end.

Is JB4 required for single turbo kits or can you run a custom MHD map and be good?
if you run flash only with MHD youll need a boost controller (motiv or some other brand of controller)
These single turbo set up good for daily driving or mostly for flat out power? Or hybrid sequential turbos better for daily
