wow i just started everyday blueberries for 7 weeks now, from 67 kilos i am now 60 kilos, all natural foods i started eating too and my plateau is gone...thanks God i am now in the right track
Otherwise than stated, (European) bilberries are not just another name of blueberries. The blueberries are industrially cultivated and mass produced when the bilberries are growing freely in the forests of northern Europe with quite different properties conferred to the blueberries - and they are healthier, too.
My friends and family all think I’m crazy but I became addicted to blueberries and never looked back. No one believes how many I eat, and I likely need a go fund me to support it.
After being on Keto for a while, I craved something sweet. I found Costco’s frozen organic blueberries heated in the microwave 3-4 minutes with sour cream on top is almost as satisfying as blackberry pie and ice cream. I have up to one cup a day.
I have about 8 blueberry bushes and the flavor of freshly picked home-grown blueberries are on another level compared to store bought. I expect to have my most abundant harvest this summer and I can't wait to indulge in them everyday and stock up my freezer again! 🫐💙
@@HarrisPilton789 I use garden netting which works to prevent birds and other pests from eating them. It doesn't look great having the white covering over the bushes but it saves the berries.

Wild caught blueberries are even healthier than regular blueberries because they have higher antioxidants. The only downfall is you can only buy them frozen. I buy the Wyman wild caught ones at Costco sold in the frozen section. They come in a 3lb bag for $9.99.😊
I've eaten them every day for a very long time. I'm hardly ever ill. They have become expensive and I stopped buying them. I got ill. So now it's every other day to make them last. No change to my weight. I did have blueberry bushes on my allotment but they perished despite keeping the soil acidic. They are great.
If you are in the USA, Costco sells them for almost half the price of your typical supermarket. Stopped buying them at supermarket when they hit a ridiculous price point during the winter. They were even hard to get. Went into produce section at Costco. Lo and behold, they had hundreds of them at almost half the price. Same exact ones. Hope this helps.
I get a 3lb. Bag of frozen Organic Blueberries for $7.99 at my BJs , which is akin to Costco. They're much sweater than wild Blueberries without any added sugar. Delicious!
Can you do a video on purple stoke potatoes? I eat them everyday and part of my diet to stay in remission with crohns. I have like 2 or 3 a day. You can even cut in pieces, put in microwave for 6 minutes, sprinkle teakihut brand organic monk fruit sweetener and organic cinnamon on top, if you haven’t tried this, it’s so good better than anything. 😊 I’m whole food vegan, best thing I ever did. 💛

So interesting! I wonder how much and when to eat is optimal. I’ve been eating I cup of frozen blueberries with my breakfast of oatmeal, soy milk, ground flax and 1 cup other berries(strawberries, blackberries and raspberries). I eat after my morning run. 2-3 cups of blueberries per day seems like a lot!
Blueberries are one of my fav foods. I eat 12 ounces of frozen organic a day at breakfast fir years. Recently I saw a video saying don’t eat with bananas because bananas have polyphenol oxidase which destroys the good polyphenols of blueberries. I eat oatmeal with mashed banana after my blueberries so looks like I have not been getting the good benefits of the fruit. What a bummer. I wonder if the chemicals he is talking about like quercitin is a polyphenol?
everybody says blue berries is healthy. we should eat every day. but what is about Pesticide residues for blue berries? you eat blue berries every day, by the time you eat Pesticide residues every day. it's not easy to remove it.
BLUEBERRY IS NOT JUST A BERRY THAT IS BLUE ON THE OUTSIDE BUT ALSO INSIDE, THAT IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE THEN IT IS A REAL BLUEBERRY. IT'S WHAT YOU CALL WILD BLUEBERRIES, ALL THE OTHERS ARE SCAMS AND HAVE NO EFFECT.
Pretty convinced it's good for me by now. However, non-organic blueberries is listed on the Dirty Dozen list. And since organic variety is quite exorbitant, is it wise for me to chow down on those non-organic blueberries anyway?

How do you keep the birds from eating all of the berries?
Garden netting

What area is best to grow them? Is it difficult to grow?

I do frozen blueberries, banana, water and arugula as my first meal to break my fast and LOVE it
I'd eat them separately, just because bananas contain an enzyme that breaks down flavonols, thus decreasing the antioxidant impact.
I found that you should “not” eat bananas with your berries. The info is real. Eat bananas separately.

Bilberries are not quite the same. Although also rich in anthocyanins.
There is a U-Tube video that says blueberries if you are on blood thinners are harmful. It didn't sound right.

I make blueberry & strawberry smoothie everyday help me full and eat less. ❤
I recently heard bananas counteract the bioactives in blueberries? Is this true?
Yes. They oxidate the Polyphenols. Do a search on Google for PPO
I will try this method and see if I drop any weight :)
Can people with severe NAFLD people have that much blueberries everyday? like a cup?
