The font size on the instruction manual was probably about 8 points or less. I had to take a picture of it to zoom in.

I bought this and am really happy with it. I think for the price and what I need it for is perfect. The speakers and display doesn't worry me so much because I use it as a second screen just to write code with. My main computer is for the heavy stuff.
In Britain these are sold under the Aztine brand name but are clearly identical.

Good review. With USB-C the monitor goes into power saving mode even if I have a power supply on the monitor.
That silver rim is incredibly distracting iMO. Probably why any light leakage wasn't seen.
I'll stick to my iPad with 'duet' app to extend my windows display for now, though the HDMI would be nice.
14mm is plenty small enough for width. Anything thinner just costs more and is easier to break until the day displays are made of diamond glass.
i would say the highlight of this portable monitor is the fact that it dosent need power and works connected to your phone and you didnt even know that :/
I don't think many phones support outputting 5v 2amps. The battery drain would be massive. So you use a powerbrick (included) if using a phone. For a laptop it would be fine using it stand-alone.

I just received a Lepow monitor today and screen never comes on...I plugged power in and red light comes on...power button doesn't do anything... plugged my two different phones in and nothing shows up on screen but power is coming through my phone...don't understand...
I had the same issue. It was because I needed to use the power and the HDMI display for my computer. If I just plug in the type-c it won't work since it's only charging.

I bought one and I cannot get it to work. It never detects the PC/HDMI hooked up and just shuts off. I hope to get it to work.
If you really can get this for $110 (as opposed to that price being marketing hype) that's a bargain! Are you aware of any similar ones with better color / contrast etc for watching movies? Don't mind paying a bit more for better media playback performance.
Most for that price or under $199 will have a similar IPS panel. It's only a 4k one I reviewed a while back that had like 75% Adobe RGB and 90+ sRGB

is it true that the screen doesnt remember ur last screen settings and always resets brightness to 30% when u turn on, so everytime u need to adjust settings? if u save a brightness level to the "Standard" profile or "user" if it has one, and u turn off, when u turn on does it stay there? or u need again to menu-> change profile every time?thanks

I have this monitor and it works without power with my note 9. It only does screen mirroring though, if you supply power to monitor it will start with samsung dex.

No it doesn't as it has no built in battery, if it blinks off it's not getting enough power.

I don't know why units like this don't include a battery? Hardly portable if you need to carry a USB-C wall plug and hardly thin or light weight if need to pack a large USB-C battery pack along side it.

You gotta do the usbc port on the left not right. Works fine with my s10+ and doesn’t even need a power source other than the phone

Not really no. It's no dedicated gaming monitor for lag but does the job
I used this monitor for PC gaming. No ghosting or lag. It's pretty good.
Nice review! Thank you!! I have another model with a batt that last 4hrs. My question is, will a usb-c brick with either a 5v-3a or 9v-2a output break the monitor if i use it to charge with if the original charger outputs 12v-2a?
If it supports power delivery it will then use 5v but if it's 12v I wouldn't try it just incase
The monitor doesn’t support PD but the brick is capable of PD. But i agree. I’ll find a 12v/2a USB-C brick somewhere online.

More important than touch support is missing: No wireless connectivity. The user base for this monitor is phones and maybe sub 10 inch tablets. The majority of phones in use do not support MHD or type C video out.
What do you mean? No big screen RUclips with Redmi Note 7 and USB-C?
Yeah even with a micro usb to usb C cable this won't show my Galaxy S7 or Fire HD 10. It also doesn't show a Galaxy Tab A 2019 via usb C.
So lol, basically all I can run on it is anything via HDMI. Which is still good. It's a cool portable monitor for HDMI purposes. But yeah, I couldn't get shit all to screen mirror on it. I only paid $100 for it though.

I have this monitor and a 30000 mah power delivery power bank. I would say 8/10 hours with mine.
