The reason I watched this Review was for the 120Hz. Which you can only get with HDMI I believe... So great to have you say: "aw, no need to test hdmi" pfff. Wonderful.... 🙄
Touchscreen Portable Monitor
ld player + Touchscreen Portable Monitor + war robots = tablet android
asus rog phone 2 + war robots + Touchscreen Portable Monitor= tablet rog phone 2
You're not gonna see it anyway unless you have a 120hz display and this was filmed over 90fps+
@@VideosWithNexus not how it works. but regardless; he didn't even attempt to run it at 120fps in windows display adapter settings.
I have a Magedok 10.1 inch usb powered 2k monitor. I love it. It replaced my Gaems M155 monitor. Fits in a iPad sleeve. I play switch. PS4. Use my Apple TV on it. Use it as a secondary/tertiary monitor. I’ve been considering the 17” one since it has 120 Hz.
It's only me or the logo of this monitor looks a lot like the Linux Mint one?
Oh my god
That’s what I thought when i looked at it
Yeah
I have the 4k 15" model, I do like it, even though it has a spot of backlight bleeding through when the screen is dark. These are reasonable on price, but don't be surprised if there is a few minor 'defects' in the manufacturing. If you want something flawless, it will cost you a good bit more. Still, I do like mine, it has become the most used screen I have.
Haven't seen you in a while then bam you pop up! I remember you from the Google plus days
Portable monitor !!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to buy it
Hope it doesn't go out of stock like ps5.
That looks pretty cool.
perfect for the Latte Panda
That's nice & cool... Great review...
Portable Monitor - Lepow 15.6 Inch Full HD 1080P USB Type-C Computer Display IPS Eye Care Screen with HDMI Type C Speakers for Laptop PC PS4 Xbox Phone Included Smart Cover & Screen Protector Black
by Lepow
the review sample doesn't look as versatile and underwhelming compared to the vinpok split or the taihe Gemini..
Working fine, i buy this LCD for my litle ITX pc and its very good, not withou glitches but ok. Buying in Amazon USA. Freesync work booth on AMD and Nvidia, gsync compatible, but for NV only throught USBC, because NV not suport this from HDMI, 120Hz it ok too. And look very nice. well adhesive is really strong, i see what happened over time.
I was look for this info, thanks a lot. Any chance you know if the usb c can be 3.1 gen 1.
since in the specification it says the connection is usb 3.1 gen 2
So you can not connect it to phone.
Awesome looking monitor. Does it have hdr?
I have an 1080p monitor with HDR lol
Nice video. I recently bought this monitor as a portable screen for various devices. I have a newer nintendo switch, and cannot get it to work via usb-c with the screeen. It works if I use the HDMI to mini-HDMI in the switch dock. Any thoughts on this?
Has it been working well so far with mini to standard hdmi with the switch?
@@Meandmeandyou1 Honestly, I have not tried it again. The monitor is working great with our PCs though.
Can you u check if g-sync works with it if forced? it supports free-sync
Won’t playing the switch without the dock brick the switch, that’s risky
Any1 knows if there is another 120 hz+ portable monitor that isnt the 600 bucks asus xg17 one? :(
Holding by adhesive? It sounds really stupid
Oh my god
Are you playing the switch only by plugging the switch with a usb type c on both ends and no hdmi at all ??
And did that usb c to usb c come with the monitor or u got it elsewhere ??
Correct. I plugged the included USB-C to full size USB cable from the monitor into a 5v/2.4A power adapter, then USB-C to USB-C into the Switch using the included cable.
Third party docks (I assume this monitor emulates a dock) have been known to brick Switches. I'm curious to see how this product will manage to avoid that.
Anthestudios that’s exactly my thought, I love the concept but if it bricks my switch I’m going to be pissed
so expensive
Resolution alone, this thing is crap compared to other portable monitors.
Is this compatible to iPad?
Play me on Smash
The colors look awful
2k is 2048x1080
and 4k is 4096x2160
1440p is not 2k
btw nice review
Genius idiot, a simple google will tell you are wrong
I like how USB ports now are "a thing of the past" lol. He said: "USB C to Older Style USB." Lol. That means USB is dying out and becoming a thing of the past, like Jordan said :)
Hah, on my screen your comment wrapped at the word "said", so I read it as "becoming a thing of the past, like Jordan"... Truth hurts. :)
But yeah, the full-sized USB port is definitely a thing of the past. USB-C is the way to go!
