@@albertoarjona1 I ended up getting the cheaper model. Just doesn't have touch scree. But it works great. Excellent picture quality. Minimal eye strain. The battery life is great +-4 hours. I plug the ps4 into it every now and then.
Hi, thanks for reviewing the new product. Most other videos were only about the older version of the same monitor having almost identical model name. I'd like to ask something, could you make a review of this monitor for example consoles or perhaps PC gaming? I'd like to buy this to have spare space on my desk and also because I don't like big monitors. And perhaps also test it how the input lag is when using the mouse too? I'd appreciate it a lot.
I'm not really much of a gamer but I do play casual games on the PC. I just ran Guild Wars 2 on this monitor and experienced no input lags for both keyboard and mouse. It behaves just like a regular monitor for my experience. This monitor cant be compared to actual gaming monitors and its more like a supplement to your main one. If this will be your only 1, it will perform just fine. But it's probably more for casual gamers like me.
@@JustAnAverageUser Thank you for your reply. If you've experienced no input lag for both keyboard and mouse, it will be fine for me. For 10 years I've been using laptops and I still love them but they have problems with thermals after max 3 years when it comes to casual gaming. 4 years ago I got tired of it after the last laptop was overheating, so moved on to desktop PC after I had it assembled. Gaming monitors are most of the time ugly, exaggerated and useless expensive too. Currently using my 22" VA BenQ GW2270H monitor and I use it for gaming too. And it costs me just €99 :P I only play GTA Online and old GTA and NFS games so not really a hardcore gamer, just a casual gamer like you. I also have ordered the G-Story 17.3" monitor but of course, after you have said you've experienced no input lag using mouse and keyboard, I think this one will be on the list too. Do you know if the Asus ZenScreen Go MB16AHP is the exact same model except the pen is not included?
It's easier to upgrade parts on the desktop that are getting old too. I used to have triple 21 inch monitors side by side but it's taking too much space. I changed to a 34 inch wide screen but sometimes missed having an extra one while doing video editing etc. Thats where I find this portable monitor really useful. But to use it long term on the desktop, probably need to plug the Type C in the wall socket, and just use the hdmi for input. From what I see, the 2 difference between both models is touch screen functionality, and also support for Android. But I think you can still output Android to the monitor
@@JustAnAverageUser Yes, that's one of the reason why I find this portable monitor really usefull. And also because of the high pixel density so everything is clear unlike 1080p on 27" monitor. My desktop pc is exactly near a wall socket so not a problem. Ok, as I thought then, then it will be the version without the touch screen functionality. I tried different not so well-known brands like G-Story, HKC and the other that produce portable monitors but they all suffer from sever lightbleeds. I have the G-Story 17.3" portable monitor and the colors are amazing! But unfortunately it's extremely limited up to 30Hz when selection resolutions higher than 1080p and also too much lightbleeds. So from now, I'll only focus on very well known brands like Asus. This G-Story monitor will be returned.
Nice concept but unfortunately I had two of these with cracked LCD. The design is flawed and the screen is extremely fragile, something that is not examined in the reviews. If you cant put this portable screen in a laptop bag then what's the point designing the product?. Asus doesn't offer repair services for these as well, so if anything happens you basically throw the money spent down the drain. Unfortunately, I would discourage anyone from buying one.
@just an average user. I would like to ask you two questions about this device as i cannot find it anywhere. So first of all, i feel like this device is first and foremost very misleading, it is a 'portable' monitor, but i understand that it still needs a PHYSICAL (cable) connection to actually use the screen? If that is the case, and it also uses the USB for power, then why even bother with the battery pack? That said, I wonder about two things: Can this device be used through for example a (mini hdmi or usb) WiFi dongle to wirelessly connect to another device, like a laptop or PC? If that is the case, then this device would still carry some interest. Another question, since the device uses the USB port for charging, does it charge or extend battery life through an external power bank? Really hoping you have the time to respond to this.
Thanks for good review. I have the same one and I still don't know how to apply auto pivot on DEX mode. Can you explain me how you rotated 90 degree at 08:09 of video?
Hi Seyjoon, I am actully runnnig a comparison surevy for the client of mine would you be kind enough to help with the surevy for which you will defiantly be compensated let me know if you are intrested.
i already have cables to connect. micro hdmi to type c on my mobile and the usb connection to power source so it is plugged in the whole time. but i dont seem to connect the touch screen capability of the monitor from my mobile. its just doing the screen mirroring. i need help!
Does charging get in the way of usage? Does using the pencil have a use case? Can it detect a hand also pressing on the screen when using the pencil (palm rejection)? What about that two tone in colour around the LCD. The other versions are just black. Does that grey at the bottom look ok?
Apologies for the video glitching at 8:00 . My original video doesn't have it.

Thanks a lot for the great review. Very clear and useful!
So good, I should've started with this video. Answered all my questions regarding ports + different angle adjustments for standing. Cheers!

Nice review. Can you please post a video on the multi-touch abilities for macbook pro 2018+ models
Good review, I just got one of these. Can you please explain how to install the display widget for the auto rotation mode?
Do you still have the monitor? Do you still like it? Any issues with it?
why can't you use the touch screen for the menu instead of using the menu button?
can we write notes on it by pen
Do you find this monitor is too dark? Most reviews on amazon mention it being too dark
Excellent overview tutorial!1
good review, have you tested the innocn portable monitor with touch-function, I'm considering to get one of these two brands?
Will Samsung DeX work with my Note 10 plus if I hook it up to this monitor?
I dont have a samsung phone to test, but from what I have gathered online, yes it does support for this model.
I can confirm it works by connection through USB-C Cable
nice and full review, thanks. getting one for myself :)
