As a big fan I am noticing that Joe is keeping the new songs more improvisatory. In the early days he seemed to try to keep the solos note-for-note but the newer songs sound like he keeps the feel of the recording but plays around a bit more. Cool to see him making a lot of subtle changes through the songs. A total musician and still rockin hard!
Well, first I thought to myself DAMN, the sound is bad and the camera is bad! but as a Satch fan that didn't last until the first minute was gone. Thanks and 1000 thanks to whoever shot and uploaded this. This is almost 2 hours of pure music. Seeing living legend Satriani do an instrumental rock show like this in 2018 is actually a miracle! the guy is almost 65 and still oozing energy, creativity and awesomeness. Can't thank you enough for this, Happy to see all those crowds of Romania, awesome people including that metal head brutal growling fan who keeps screaming in the middle :)

Really, the guy does not age. But I noticed something. He slowed down the tempo of some songs maybe he's already tired of high speed or the arm can not take it anymore ... More he's still the best of them all. Fantastic!
Joe plays these artificial harmonics squeals in a very unique way with his right hand but when I tried to play them like that I found they are way much easier to play that way than the ones with the left hand above the frets.

Cu mare placere, asa ceva merita dat mai departe :D Folosesc pentru filmare un Samsung K Zoom vechi de 4 ani, iar pentru sunet un Tascan DR-05, apoi sincronizez video cu audio si editez-repar imaginea in Adobe Premiere. Si un pic de editare pe audio in Adobe Audition. Merita efortul, mai ales in cazul lui Joe. Tot respectul!
