I gotta say you have an insane network of people who keep you informed. What impressed me the most was that you found restaurant Kosmaj in Belgrade in the previous video. Keep up the good work.
@@HungryTwoTravel But how did you find Kosmaj restaurant than? No chance you found them online, I go there from time to time, they are super old school and local. Not a single food vlogger has been there before you 100%. And most of the other places you visited are pretty local, like bakery Ranković in Belgrade. I doubt that you randomly bump into (the best) places, reveal us your secret? :)
Another awesome video from you both! The burek was insane, so cool to see how it's traditionally made and cooked. Very interesting that the hot lid cooks the whole pastry through. The yogurt looked so good on top of it all! Loved the big sandwiches Chris ate, and so affordable, way better than Subway. I also like the Terminator movies, funny that the owner named his shop after the movie, he must be a huge fan Such a great video, can't wait for the next one!
Yup, I notice that also...2x bigger, 3x cheaper than a decent Subway sandwich... Enteriors and all joints are quite ok, can even say trendy...would it there everyday 10/10..
Hey Charles! Omg those sandwiches were insane, right?? We also loved to get to see the burek made in the traditional way, very cool eh?? Thanks for watching and commenting 😊
That "fiber" is called maramica. It is basically fat that protect and separates lungs from bones/ribs. It keeps meat from drying out when grilled and gives more flavor. Great stuff.
So interesting to watch the burek being cooked! It looks so mouthwatering, especially the cherry one. And, wow, that index sandwich😳👌!! What a beautiful, historical city!
The burek was really cool to see it cooked in the traditional way under the bell, and you would have loved the cherry one ;) Isn't the index sandwich massive?!
Hey chris hey steph. How ya goin? I been busy running gin; lime vodka and lemoncello in my still. Soooo fresh and clean i know youl like it chris. Hugs and love
please, if you are still in Serbia, visit the south of Serbia, to see real Serbian food, for example in Nisu Kafana Mrak, in Drazevac Kafana Marjan....every other kiosk in Nisu, Leskovac has too good food..so there you go recommendation from me and try it :)
Može i jogurt da se zalije pa da se jede, ali se odmah i zagreje. Ja ipak više volim, da ga pijuckam iz plastične čaše i da hladim i kiselim ukus pite ili bureka dok ga jedem. Naravno svako voli nešto i drugačije. Sve je ovo mnogo ukusno, ali nažalost i opasno masno. 😅
Kajmak is not cheese.Kajmak is kajmak :) Original 'Komplet lepinja' with egg, kajmak and pretop is from Uzice city, bakery 'KOD ŠULJAGE' .everything else is copies.Enjoy Serbian food

svaki put kad je ubo onu komplet lepinju dok je sprema na plotni, jedan uzicanin je dobio infarkt.
😅
Komplet lepinja with pršut - that is about your weekly amount of sodium. :D
Seriously so true 🤣

Never seen yogurt on top of the burek, so this is their innovation, just to be different from the others.
It's actually popular throughout the Balkans, in Bosnia as well 😉
Bure is either good or not. Point
👍
😉

Ah yeah, welcome, mind yourt heart, this is not to be eaten unless you' re about to do some serious manual work...
Very true, you need a workout after this!!
