    I just came back from Serbia,the food there is on another level because no GMO everything fresh (meat) i personally prefer kuvana jela home cooked meals and now lots of places are opening all over Belgrade...the rakija is only good in Serbia because of the plums one of the best in the world...lol you went to Gradska i went there about 5yrs ago...       When I come back to Serbia I loose weight by eating a lot of meat. Abroad (west EU) I get a weight a bit, but my stomach regulary gets bloated. I cure myself with Serbian grilled meat in large quantities. 😊

      Kajmak nije vrsta sosa.Pravi se od mleka- skupljene mlečne masti.I nikako se ne jede sa ćevapčićima,to je neka nova moda za srance.Roštilj generalno nije dobar u Beogradu.Prava stvar je doći na jug u Niš,Leskovac,Pirot..Ali za strance i Beograd je dobar.

    You should also try the following dishes and delicacies. Cvarke, Komplet lepinju, Gibanica, Proja, Zeljanice, Banica, Mantije Gomboca, Pirot's peglana sausage, Veal under the comb Pig and lamb roast, Wedding cabbage, Kacamak, Muckalica, Reforma cake, Strudle, Pumpkin pie, Lazy pie. Some fish stews at the salas in Vojbodina, kulen sausages, pancetta, dried meat, bacon, all prepared in the old way, this is only a small part of the gastronomic pleasure that Serbia can really offer. Everything is natural

    So much meat! I loved this Serbian food tour so much! I have to say, I love all things meat, so this video satisfied in all the right ways! I didn't know Serbia was so well known for their meats. That rolled schnitzel-like meat was unreal, with that melty milky butter.... Wow! The kebabs and the big cheddar burger patty also looked so tasty. I've never had kajmak before, but it looks incredible. Well done to you both! P.S, I made a steak after watching this video because I was craving meat after watching! 😋

    Awesome video guys, it's been really cool going from one country to the next through the Balkans with you guys, this might be one of my favorite tours you've done. It's cool because there's similarites but differences between all the countries, but the food looks oh so good.       In serbia tomatoes are called paradise. The taste is nothing like what we have in Canada. They are juice and sweet

    Food in Beograd is good but food heaven is on the south of Serbia,try Nis or Leskovac.

      @@HungryTwoTravel Just go to Niš, kafana Mrak or Dagi, or any place in Niš actually, you will be shocked how food in Niš tastes, if you like Belgrade food, you will be blown away in Niš.

      @@HungryTwoTravel Every food-lover (or "gurman" as we call them) here in the Balkans will tell you to take a 3 hour drive from Belgrade to go to Niš and visit South Serbia for the best barbecue meat and specialties. Also they make the best burek in Serbia, it's so worth it, we make regular 4 hour drives just to go to one place, but not to advertise anyone if you need some recommendations hit me up.

    If we speak about food price/quality/taste/quantity Belgrade is a dope, but its mediocre compared to city of Nis and region of South Serbia...historicaly, 2 main fast food dishes burek and cevapi are either invented or ruled there..Burek in Nis, grill in city of Leskovac, with annualy grill fest, best in the world by far...
    So, hit the cities of Nis, Leskovac and Pirot and check some die hard kafana food there...stuff you will try there is posiby the best meat dishes ever, i was blown away...mesmerizing experience..
    Start from kafana "Mrak"...

    There is a village called Sljivovica in central Serbia and then the name Sljivovica (plum brandy) so Serbia is the homeland of Plum rakija,Sljivovica is Serbian brand(is made in Serbia), therefore the best in the world. Serbia is a major producer of various fruits that grow here and is one of the largest exporters in the world. Raspberry for example, Serbia is number 1 in the world for exports, even blueberry is in the top 5. They usually say that wherever you throw a seed in Serbia, it grows

Dokle ce vise ljudi da brukaju srbe i Srbiju. Srbija po tom pitanju ima patent zbog geogravskog i istorijskog naziva tog alkohola ! Obrisi brzo tvoj netacni komentar i ne brukaj majku Srbiju !

      Pa kad živiš u gradu , pa moraš da jedeš "brzu" hranu .
      Mi na selu jedemo isto samo spremljeno natanane i pečeno pod crepuljom .

    Spiza u Srbiji je opće ludilo, samo ako EU još malo stisne nestat će kvalitetnih sirovina za napravit dobru spizu ka šta se u Hrvatskoj dogodilo i još ako se poveća turizam sve će otić u 3PM.

    Try hungarian food in Subotica, a lot of hungarians live there and the food is just amazing. Gulash, paprikash, pörkölt(perkelt), fish soup, langosh and much much more😊

    The Shopska Salad Salata is a must, enjoy guys, few comments about Nis, probably true best Burek in Serbia but so many are good, the Skull Monument is worth a visit.

    Fun fact. McDonalds came to city of Banjaluka, closed after few months due to Banjalucki Cevap and Serbian grill like that. Ahah. Try roasted piglet and lamb traditional serbian way. It is called Pečenje. Try Sarma (sour cabbage leaves filled with meat). Punjena paprika (filled peppers), projara...

    The cevapi looked absolutely delicious! How can you go wrong with those ingredients 😊??
    The homemade quality of the food seems so mouthwatering compared to processed food.

    Karadjordjeva was invented in Belgrade in Golf restorant. The story goes somme political delegation from England i think, went for a meal. They wanted some speciall dish that was prepared there or something but because they went late they didnt have all ingrediants and the chef improvised on the spot. Later he won some rewards with it on international cooking competitions.

      They wanted "chicken Kiev" which is a rolled deep fried chicken with butter and herbs stuffed inside. Since the chef didn't have all the ingredients he improvised and changed chicken with pork and put kajmak instead of butter.

    6:00 You know that there are utensils ... Yes, it's much tastier to use your fingers, but....
    BTW, last time when I was in Serbia, car rental was 20 euros a day, unlimited mileage if you don't leave Serbia.
    Stopanja village is known for probably best pork and lamb roasts. Rajac and Rogljevo in eastern Serbia for probably best vines in Europe (yes, I'm biased, but try Tamjanika while there), but also Fruska Gora region for vine (Bermet would be my suggestion).
    For ladies, there are large selection of liqueurs - where ever you go, ask for example for walnut liqueur.

      @@krwillis Not butter, it's "Kajmak" something like half a butter and half a cream cheese!!! Definitely unbelievable taste and pure domestic Serbian product!!! You cannot find something like that out of Serbia 🇷🇸, maybe in some Serbian market in New York or Chicago but not domestic and not taste like that!!!🤔😎🥱🍻🏆

      @@HungryTwoTravel Kajmak is milk fat. When you boil milk, kajmak, fat goes up and you scooped it up, add little salt and thats kajmak. Thats young kajmak. If you leave it to stay some time it becomes older and more sour.

    Now, you probably like meat a lot, but i would recommend ordering some salad like srpska or shopska, or cabbage, roasted peppers, there are plenty of choices, but you want to have some vitamins to fight the artery clogging.

    Probajte pravi, domači ajvar, pekmeze od pravog voča, obavezno jagnjetinu i teletinu ispid sača, proju, pite, čorbe, riblje čorbe....sve, samo da je povrće ili voče iz Srbije i da je spremljeno kao kod kuće što kuvamo, a ne neki fast food. Sva naša hrana je izvrsna.

    try burek (meat), sarma, komplet lepinja, stuffed peppers, gulaš, paprikaš, sataraš, try pljeskavica or ćevapi in some fast food - i think it is better that way. if you want to try someting different try pihtije, glava u škembetu, škembiće, kavurma. and you definitely have to try pečenje because you liked our meat so much

    If you find a bakery for burek and pogačice you have to try some.
    With a cup of thin youghrt a real treat.
    I also suggest any kind of sweet strudel dishes.
    Balkan is famouse for dishes made from filo.

But food that you ate in Belgrade is maybe 10% of real food that is served in smaller places in Serbia (especially along highways).     I will probably get some heat from my Bosnian brothers and probably Croats too, but Serbia has the best meat food on the Balkans except lamb. The best lamb you can find only in Bosnia.

    Traditional ćevapi have no pork. They are either veal or lamb 20% and beef 80%. Pork is a no no.
