SO DID I but the behind the scenes making still made me scared because it showed too many scenes that were included in the movie, HAHA!

Agreed. And, the jumpscares are incredibly effective too and aren't cheap.
same here. saw SMILE in theaters with few friends and everyone in the theater was on edge from beginning to end.

nothing wrong with a classic sad ending, I think the ending is fine and it makes a sequel possible

Loved the movie!! Love how it’s a never ending loop because it’s a never ending curse that lasted centuries. Love the characters, love how every one was justified and no one was ever really the bad guy. Love the sound design and acting, over all 9 out of 10 film.
Kyle Gallner singing, *"Put the question in the answer."* 0:13 I love his energy so much. He hasn't changed at all. He's still goofy and laughing a lot when he first started acting in movies and TV series. *"He's a detective isnt here?""* 4:07, lmao!! This is one of the reasons why I wanted to check out this movie, but the entire cast did great. Especially Sosie Bacon, which I'm very fond of. Kyle Gallner was so supportive of Rose throughout the entire movie. But Jessie T. Usher explained his character wonderfully. I really love this interview.

His goodness is what let to his demise. trying to save rose he just cursed himself instead, it was a stupid decision running to someone that dangerous
I freaking loved this movie because I watched it from the mental health perspective and it’s actually really sad it actually made me cry. Not scary at all. The only scary thing is our own minds and that is so true!!!

I really hope they make a second movie! But that it turns out that neither Rose or Joel died in the end, so that they can get their happy ending cause I really didn’t want them to die, it could be based on the two of them and trying to defeat the demon/how it all started/ Rose could’ve hallucinated her death, I just also wanna see more of Kyle as this character and of Rose, I think they were great together but they didn’t have a lot of scenes together
It would take away from the aesthetic of these kind of movies. There shouldn’t be a happy ending. Happy endings in horror movies we left that behind in the 00s

I watched the movie today and I have to say that this movie surprised me a lot and caused a fear in me that I have never felt like this in other horror movies. To those who want to watch this psycho movie! watch it only if you dont have any mental illnesses.
Sosy bacon is literally one of my fave actresses of all time. Not just in the horror genre, sosie takes the spot for that one.

Alot of people didn’t like the ending, neither did I, which is why I’m hoping they make a second movie and it turns out that Rose was hallucinating that ending since she was having realistic hallucinations they can play it off like that

Scariest movie I’ve seen in years
The acting was insane like that part when she was like the demon that act like therapist she was like what the fuck are you with the little look away great acting im weird little stuff like that just u no sets me off and i focus on stuff like that.

I don't mind the movie being written to make us root for Rose and Joel. For me this reached Skylar White level of making me despise the significant other of the main character.

Coz the ending to me was not as good as It Follows .sadly makes It Follows better . If the ending of Smile was same as It Follows then this go down as 1 the best horror films in a Long time .
This film Has to be compared to It Follows . When you watch it and as long as you have watched it follows you will understand. Still recommend see Smile coz the acting was good and Not normal Horror acting. The sound track music etc was equally horrifying as in shut your eyes just listen and will freak out .
Yep same. I loved it. It was better than 8 out of 10 horror movies that come out. But they could have had a stronger ending.
yes it was a good jumper and it did remind me a lot of it follows, and I think the evil being should have been much scarier...but it was 👍

What a pathetic performance from these three. This clearly wasn't a super-official interview, but this was painful. A mutli-million dollar production got a noise complaint, you can't even remember what rank your character was, and on top of that, you make a movie about trauma and say 'I hope they had fun'?! This movie was super traumatising for me, a feeling only heightened by the clear lack of thought that went into making it. Parker Finn was clearly more interested in imitating his favourite artists than actually making a good product himself, so disappointing and borderline reckless.

So depressed cause these days they didn’t make any good horror and finally after iv seen this I was actually scared bdw yes they don’t take it seriousl .. cause if you would read about it it’s does say “ they wasn’t even supposed to make it to the theatre…they didn’t know it was going to be a big hit this movie is a masterpiece and the characters are amazing and just because it’s traumatised you it doesn’t mean it’s not good 🙄🤦♀️
