Have to say your colour grading for this video is excellent. Most of the videos I've seen cant get the colours right for the SNE569, often purple bezels with blueish dials, but you nailed it nicely with the grey and the black is black. Nice work.
Thank you! It's an intereesting piece that alpinist? It almost appears to be bronze sometimes. Which might be an upside for someone who wants the look but not the patina!
Thanks for your overview of these two watches. I noticed that you said that the SNE569 has no polished surfaces but in fact the chamfered edges extending from lug to lug and the top of the crown guards are polished. Adds just a little touch of bling.

I love the looks of an old sub. But I wouldn't give you more than $ 200.00 for it. I would give about $250.00 for a new one because it is a little more accurate. I would buy a seiko 569 over a Rolex at the same price. For some wacky reason accuracy is important for me, after all it is a WATCH.

Unless the signed crown makes it more accurate than leave it off. I don't care about sel's either. Never lost a watch because of NOT having sel's . It actually makes it heavier.

still on my honeymoon with my sarb017. that one can not be replaced......something about watches that have the look of another metal, but aren't.
I can respect that. My view on it is that it’s for people who want the look but not the softness of gold. I’m just happy seiko gave us options
