🔴Which factor do you believe has the biggest impact on the Ford Ranger's low sales?🤔 🏆All-New 2025 Nissan Frontier Wows Everybody WATCH HERE 👉 ruclips.net/video/6phkZppXEEE/видео.html
@tech_triumph - I would say the biggest factor for slow sales is the faltering economy, high inflation, and high interest rates. The Ranger is not the only one affected by this. It's competitors, including the Tacoma is struggling as well. However, it does seem like Ford has hit one out of the ballpark with the Ranger Raptor. I keep seeing videos on it, and people are loving it. But I have also seen many positive reviews on the lower trim level Rangers as well.
I bought a new '22 Ranger Lariat two and a half years ago and have had zero issues with it. Two days ago I traded it for a 2024 Ranger Lariat. I only have two days of driving experience with it but I'm just flipped-out happy with it.
I had to order my 2024 Ranger so I don’t know what you’re talking about regarding these trucks sitting on the lot. I couldn’t find any on the lot. There have been no recalls or QC issues with my truck.
Which Ford competitor is paying you to do this videos? I like the new Ranger and ordered an XLT in April. I just received notice it was built. Now it just waiting on shipment. Mine is loaded with all the options except 4WD and thought the price was pretty good compared to a similar truck from one of its competitors.
I had a 2019 Ranger that I bought new in 2019 & just traded for a new 2024 Ranger XLT. I had zero problems on my 2019 Ranger & no recalls. I have had my 2024 Ranger for 3 months & I like my Ranger!
In Australia the Ranger is best selling 4x4 for the last 2 years and is on track to make it 3 years in a row. Prior to this the Ranger was the second best selling 4x4 for many years behind the Toyota Hilux Where i live there are more Rangers than other makes and there does not seem to be any problems.
I ordered my Ranger Lariat in November 2023. It arrived in April 2024. Traded in my 2004 Ford Sport Trac because it needed a new engine. I really liked that old truck. But it was getting old like me and parts were wearing out. I am thrilled with my new Ranger. All the safety features that help keep me safe as an older driver are what helped boost the price. I have lane assist, lane change warning, auto wipers, auto headlamps, auto seat positioning, a very large sync screen, car play, Alexa assist, map routing, tire tpms, auto dim headlights, backup camera, folding back seat, two glove boxes and storage compartment, manual dials or touch screen, 20-22mpg (13-14MPG in the Sport Trac, fast response to the accelerator, all leather interior, front camera, brake assist, side collision warning, wireless phone charging, park assist, tow assist, 360 camera, bed wide enough for full sheets of plywood, bed outlets, USB ports, and rear seat warning reminder and bed liner. My Sport Trac didn’t have any of those things. Of course it cost more. So do groceries, houses, power, water and everything else around us! Oh, BTW I added power running boards for my wife. I added a roll n lock bed cover for me! I also added a bed extender and front and rear dash cameras U1000! If I keep this truck like I did the Sport Trac I will be a hundred years old.
This video doesn't match reality. I own a 2021 Tremor, had zero problems. Currently looking at a 2024/2025, but when they arrive at the lot, they're usually pre-sold or sell the same day!
Our Ford dealer in Joplin, MO hasn’t had a new Ranger on its lot. I want a new Ranger, but refuse to order one without at least driving one. Now I’ll just wait for the 2025.
I had a 2019 lariat Ranger FX4. I dogged the hell out of the truck. Never once was in shop for an issue. No recalls nothing. Traded it recently with 95k miles. My experience was great. Shudda had a small v6 instead of the 4. But power was good. And torque was good. No complaints. Seriously. Would have gone with the new one but they were not out yet at the time. Bought a new Nissan Pro4X just to mess around with it. 7kmiles. So far so good. Great pricing. I will put a 1 inch lift maybe 2. Not sure.
The Ranger price is right in line in terms of price within its class..oh and btw there are currently 0 recalls on 24 Ford Rangers... This whole video is lies
I got a 21 ranger. A couple reasons I'm not interested in upgrading. 1 customer service at the dealership service centers, the repair turnover time, the amount of problems the warranty had to cover, them taking my money to fix issues and not actually fixing them okay I bunch up the headache into #1. 2 I hate that big screen I'd rather have the buttons. 3 my 21 isn't worth the 38k I bought it for what makes this worth more? That 10 speed transmission is going to go out sometime during your ownership. And finally, wheres the v8? The new truck looks nice I want to swap the front end if possible but that's about it.
I've had my 2019 ( price bengine the reason for not buying new )for 6 months and no problems to date but I can think two very big reasons # 1 that ridiculous 10 speed transmission it's always hunting for what gear it wants to be in 5 speed is all you need maybe a 6 speed and offer both in standard and automatic, #2 is start / stop feature totally useless and just adds to the over price of these wonderful trucks but then what do I know I'm just a guy who likes TRUCKS and. Not gimmicks !😊
I have a 2020 Ranger and love it! No problems with it at all! One issue that wasn't covered in the video was lack of advertising. You don't see any commercials on TV for the Ranger like you do for the F-150 or Maverick. Nothing in print media either. How does Ford expect to sell a product that they don't advertise?
I think this video is full of Bull Butter! Who cares what the Ranger problems in 19’ and 20’! I bought the 24’ XLT 4x4 and I love it. Interior is way better than previous models. Got plenty of options. Plenty of power! And guess what, it “drives easy”! But you say the Maverick drives easier. 😂. And the platform was changed. Plus it’s wider. All these midsize trucks have gone up in price. Your way off. Unless you’re trying to generate comments!
Can’t buy something that isn’t on dealer lots. The new ranger has just shown up on a couple dealer lots here in the past week. They are overstocked with f-150’s and F - 250’s. As far as pricing per your video. All the models you’ve mentioned are the same price.
Here in Australia, with regards to the Next Gen V6 Diesel, we are hearing of rubber chunks being found in the oil filter at service times. Presumably from the break down of the rubber timing belt running in oil ? Any cases like that elsewhere ?
This video must be from a Ford hater. Two months ago I bought a 2024 Ranger XLT FX4 with V6 and I love it. For the features I wanted, the price was equivalent to a Nissan Frontier and about $9,000 less than a Toyota Tacoma because of the way Toyota packages "basic features" in very expensive option packages.
They cannot sell what they do not have on the lot. Even Long MacAruther in Salina has 2 XL's, the one 30 miles south has 0 Rangers. Most people do not order vehicles they buy off the lot. Near me in St. Louis there are 3 with 2.7's and just a few others on over 10 lots. But they are marking up Raptors 15 grand, and one near me is sitting in the show room going on 7 weeks now. what is really stopping me from buying a Ranger is the lack of Auto-4wd aka awd like every other truck has, Yes the ranger Raptor has it but no other Ranger does. I use it a lot with patchy snow and ice plus wet asphalt and driving though pastures..in my Colorado ZR2
The sales are low because there isn’t any stock out there I ordered mine it took 4 months to get and everything you are shitting out of your mouth is wrong
My sister had a new ranger in 22 got rid of it a week or so ago now bear in mind shes had 3 new ones over the years first one was regular cab 4x4 which drove everywhere here in brtish columbia. Canada which she loved the other too were the extended cab 4wd with the v6 when she bought the 22 6 months in said it was the most useless crew cab picup she ever owned a 4 foot box you couldnt even haul a 1/4 yard of topsoil suspension was mushy tended to roll and lean in the corners traded for a Mitsubishi out lander awd suv sain the landscape company got a 1/2 ayard of topsiol ini it handled no rollig or mushy suspension she also added her boyfriebd got rid of his 2023 f150 crew cab got a 96 Gmc 2500 toraly rebuilt frame of restoration standerd cab 4x4 coudnt be more happy
Just bring a regular cab Basic, no electronics, manual window's, manual transmission, even rubber flooring. Make as it standard as possible and dealers wouldn't keep up with sales.
Exterior looks great, interior is great with exception to that gigantic touch screen, not a fan of that, and I can get similarly optioned colorado, Ridgeline and frontier for thousands less
I bought the xlt sport 2024 in the cactus grey color I have the full technology package ,Towing package , sport package that includes the gunmetal colored rims , sticker was 42,093 I paid right at 40,000 for it I couldn’t be happier they only had 3 on the lot and I scooped up the nicest one they had ! This video is full of lies , this engine has been in all of the newer rangers on the road since 2019 I believe my dealership said the ranger was one of the most reliable vehicles they sale with almost none coming back for service
Had to replace my transmission at 80k. Ford wanted to charge me $9,000 to fix it. No thanks. Got it replaced for $5800, still a lot of money. I have a 2021 Ranger.
people throw out wrong information. they have no idea what they are talking about. i been ford tech for 39 years and never see any issues with 2.7 engines . i own one in my f150 and love it and have 80 thousand trouble free miles.
And to think how popular and enduring the previous model was. Ford must have know that when the 'new' Ranger came to market that it wasn't going to be as popular as the old model. Could this be why Ford was so reluctant to come out with the 'new' Ranger?
The ass end is as high up in the air as the Ford Super Duty trucks. Ridiculous for a midsize truck. The original Ranger from 1983 was a beauty. These Rangers do nothing for me. The Nissan Frontier is one midsize truck I’d consider if I were buying.
The 83 Ranger was a "compact" pickup... the later Rangers are considered " midsize" and this is the same throughout the segment, Tacoma, Colorado, and Frontier... If you want a "compact" pickup go for the Mavrick...
I am not sure where you get your real life information from but I know this as a fact nothing can go where a jeep can !. Furthermore I have had no problems with my Rubicon Gladiator and it rides very nicely on the Asphalt roads. and unless your axles lock solid across , front and back you do not have a real four wheel drive , girls and boys ! ...lol!... I am retired from the Military and been in places the devil would not tread and I did it all in a Jeep ! ...I rest my case .
American Rangers don't get the diesel engines we get in Asia, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. We haven't had a petrol option since 2014 in a Ranger, diesel options, 3.2 liter 5 cylinder , 2 liter twin turbo and 3 liter V6 turbo diesel, lotsa' torque and great mileage towing or loaded.
1 smaller on the inside than the Bronco. 2 no standard v6 and 4wd with locking diffs. 3 No supercab or std cab model if i am paying this much for a truck i want to park it in my garage. 4 base is best looking trim, but other goodies would be nice, (Ford drop the trims and make some logical packages to add). 5 let the consumer pick the wheels we want not make them all dependent on trim (Trims levels suck). I love the look of the new ranger, but i immediately dis-liked it when i found out it’s smaller on the inside (Width) than the Bronco. I will get a 2dr Bronco and rent a truck when i need it.
Ford vehicles are generally more expensive, about 3,000; but that isn’t a big deal if you like your Fords. Vehicle recalls are a problem industry wide with Toyota being the worst sinking their reputation. Now if the Ranger has the worst recalls compared to its other models, well that is possible. Looking though the comments though and other professional reviews, these issues seem to be a rarity, given how unlikely people are going to encounter I think people prefer to buy an F150 over a midsize, because well it’s an F150 and people just want one even if not needed. I am one of those people that may bite the bullet and just get an F150. But as expensive as the Ranger (and its competitors) is, the F150 is still 20,000 dollars more when comaprinf the Lariat packages, no the F150 is not just a few thousand dollars more! Also, the Australian package never made it to America because ford knew Americans wouldn’t like it, so they held off on bringing the Ranger back to America. It seems this review doesn’t have all their facts straight.
How about more color options. It's like every other color is just another BORING shade of gray. They've got the usual white, black and silver, so isn't just one gray enough?? ... I have a '21 in Cyber Orange and wouldn't trade it for a new Ranger in gray, even if it were an even trade.
Our ford ranger 2022 lariat edition has had transmission issues since day one. Been to 3 different dealerships and they all said no issue if no codes. And of course now we are 10 thousand over warranty and bang now theres an issue and they have admitted theres an issue and they still will not fix. What a horrible company
PRICE GOUGING! Poor construction of Quality. Horrible reliability. Production issues. Horrible Deal Experiences. Insane server center costs, cheaply made core vital parts and cheap feeling interior parts.
I own two Rangers 99 2.5 mt 08 3.0 at. Both RWD. Rust has eaten the 99. I'll hold onto the 08 as long as I can.. The previous generations were far more solid. Didn't have finicky junky engines and junk I don't need on it.
I didn’t buy a Ranger because of all the issues with Ford and anything EcoBoost. So many issues that people are calling Fords 3 and 4 cyl motors EcoBoom. And Ford isn’t doing anything about these failures.
You right you not buy a ranger,i;m from belgium and i had a ranger 3.2 -5cyl diesel.fine car for drive but manny problem with the engine, agr valve change, agr cooler change and at 127 000km oil pump broken and the engine ruined . it cost 10.000 euro more to change that engine. this was the most bad car in my 53 years driving manny cars.now i go back to japanese brands.
Négative and useless vidéo. I bought a used ranger xlt 2019 entended cab 2 years ago. Zéro issues and I couldnt be happier. The best pickup I be ever owned
Philippines. I paid 26,000 for a 4x4 xl manual ranger. Its built in thailand. No probs in first year. Nissan a smother ride and toyota worse ride. and i have never seen an automatic last as long as a manual. Toyota is more money and nissan has no manual transmission here.
I dislike the engine design hard to repair and very costly for repairs that not included the turbo replacement that will cost more than any savings i give it bad reviews
While Americans continue with gasoline Rangers for work and towing, they will never experience the best of what Ford Ranger has to offer. And yes, Rangers are overpriced because Worldwide Ford Ranger production cannot keep up with World sales.

Very negative report on a truck that most professional reviewers consider to be “best in class”
It’s junk
I had to order my 2024 Ranger so I don’t know what you’re talking about regarding these trucks sitting on the lot. I couldn’t find any on the lot. There have been no recalls or QC issues with my truck.
Traded in my 23 Colorado (great truck) for a 24 Ranger (even greater truck) and not looking back.
I’ve had my Ranger for 18 months and have no issues or recalls.Paid 35k for XLT fx4 supercab
Same experience 21 months and no issues or recalls XLT OFF-ROAD FX4
I thought 2024 had only crewcabs.. 4 door models, they dropped the supercab????
@@rich4860sadly correct 2022
15 months. XLT 2023. ZERO issues. Nothing. I swapped out (too stiff for me), OEM REAR shocks myself.
Great deal
Just traded my 2020 ranger with 70,000 miles. Absolutely no problems. Excellent retained value. Bought a new 2024. Love it. Who do you work for.?????.

Bought XLT FX4 3 weeks ago and couldn't be any happier. It's the best vehicle I've purchased in a long long time. Ford nailed it with the new Ranger.

The only reason Hilux outsold Ranger is the high sales of 'poverty pack 2WD single cab trades utes, in the 4WD dual cab sector Ford had better sales.

Looking though the comments though and other professional reviews, these issues seem to be a rarity, given how unlikely people are going to encounter
I think people prefer to buy an F150 over a midsize, because well it’s an F150 and people just want one even if not needed.
Lies dude. Tacoma is almost 10k more than a ranger.
I seen a 24 ranger xlt and i looked at the msrp and walked away laughing thinking they on drugs
When u actually break down what they come with it’s not a bad price I got mine pretty much fully loaded for 40,000
It looks boringly ugly. It has a tiny bed that is completely worthless for anything outdoorsy. And likely, it is way overpriced at the stealership.
Wait, which engine? There's 3 different engines.... Ok your talking the 2.3
Early in the video....the word is "losing". NOT "loosing". Jeeze.
The Ranger is the best midsize truck on the market.
There’s two simple reasons - trash quality and a price that is 35% too high.
This video is NOT true Sales numbers are NOT incredibly low.
So it’s safe to say that Quality is no longer Job 1
Looks like NO truck is selling> It depends on where you're from. Not everybody is doing mountains or hauling heavy loads.
PRICE GOUGING! Poor construction of Quality. Horrible reliability. Production issues. Horrible Deal Experiences. Insane server center costs, cheaply made core vital parts and cheap feeling interior parts.
I own two Rangers
99 2.5 mt
08 3.0 at.
If you think you can find a Taco cheaper than a ranger your out of your mind.
Do ur research on truck and engines
NO matter what they say about you, I’ll forever love you ford ranger
They are yhe top selling ute/pick up her in Australia
Philippines. I paid 26,000 for a 4x4 xl manual ranger. Its built in thailand. No probs in first year. Nissan a smother ride and toyota worse ride. and i have never seen an automatic last as long as a manual. Toyota is more money and nissan has no manual transmission here.
Oil pump belt breaks down clogs oil pump ending freezes up..😜
Redesigned in today's terms really mean over priced junk. They took something good and f'ed it up.
❤ I love Ford Ranger ❤
Ford Ranger sales increased 5.1% in the second quarter of 2024, which was more than double the first quarter. You make no sense
As Toyota guy for 40 plus years, this should have been a 2024 Taco video, not Ford….
Also the ranger is nearly as big as the f 150
Love my truck 2019 Ford Ranger 👍
I dislike the engine design hard to repair and very costly for repairs that not included the turbo replacement that will cost more than any savings i give it bad reviews
2020 Ranger, No recalls...
Lame review. I really like my Ranger. No problems whatsoever.
While Americans continue with gasoline Rangers for work and towing, they will never experience the best of what Ford Ranger has to offer. And yes, Rangers are overpriced because Worldwide Ford Ranger production cannot keep up with World sales.
Built Ford Tough!
Tocabo, what the hell is a tocaba?
This guy's definitely on the Toyota payroll
The Ranger has become unafFORDable… yeah I said it.
Toyota Tacoma part aged poorly...
