Man sending Tacoma to Mexico has killed the shine of that vehicle. I don’t want a turbo truck with so many useless options. No idea what I will do when my 2014 1500 drops dead.

We were going to wait till 26-27 to buy a new Tacoma TRD Off Road, double cab, 6’ bed with the premium and technology pkgs, so that it would give Toyota time to work out the bugs of the new designed Tacoma.
Then I found out that Toyota was discontinuing the 3.5L Naturally Aspirated V6 which has proven to be very Reliable and Durable.
I looked for the what I was looking for and never found it in 23.
On 2/29/24 I found a new “leftover” Tacoma and it was exactly what I was looking for.
In 23 the dealerships weren’t budging on the price, but when I bought mine, I saved almost $10K off the MSRP.
I absolutely Love my 23 TRD.
We live in the mountains of north central Washington state and have taken it to MT twice.
I’m an older guy and only drive 8-10K miles per year so I’m sure that my 23 TRD will be the Last truck I’ll ever own.
Yes I installed a cold air intake and had the OTT installed.
Right before it started snowing I had Bronze “Method” wheels and Falken Wildpeak AT4W 265/70/16 tires installed because I needed a heavier duty tires for what I do with my truck and the extra inch of clearance will be helpful next summer.

I Rented the Jeep Gladiator it was 116 degrees in Los Angeles California in 2023, and the Air Conditioning Fan didn't blow hard. My Mustang fan set at 3 blows harder, and the Gladiator was set at 7 max fan.
Never by anything with Turbos they don't last over 40,000 miles.

It’s good that you prove that you don’t know what you are talking about. You know nothing about jeeps or turbos…

Is that why the Quality or reliability has fallen since StellAntis took over and started using their Tech.
I know with Personal Experience. I rented a Gladiator and it's Blow is lack luster and never Cooled the cabin inside.
I would never buy anything with Turbos unless it is in a Porsche.
I babied a Ecoboost Mustang for 3.5 years. The Turbo locked up because I never spooled it. I didn't know how Turbos worked. Since I babied it. The Bearings in the Impeller wear not greasing up they settle.
So forums said try unlocking by punching it at the Freeway.
I went from 65 mph to 90 mph. 5 times. The Check engine was on when lock up. There was a V8 Maserati Quatroporte who challenged me. I gave him the jump 2 car lengths. I went from 65 to 130 in 8 seconds gapped it by 5 car lengths, He tried catching up loud roar of his engine. Then I had to exit, and the check engine turned off.
6 months later because I had to spool Turbo it Warped the Engine block cylinder 3 the cylinder it is mounted next too. It took 2 months to replace the engine. According to warranty I only get 1 month reimbursement. At $93 / day for 30 days it was $2760 . 1. 5 years later the engine block quit again. This time out of pocket for rental they told the warranty won't pay for both months. It was $110 /day for 60 days. On the 3rd day with the rental I went to buy the Only
White V8 Mustang with the 3rd Fun Pedal 6 Speed Manual Transmission
In all of California it was a 2022 Roush Mustang and this will be the newest car as well as the most awesome car I'll ever own.
It is a Mach1 Handling Pack and up tuned by Roush Performance.
👦👍🏎🏁🚩🛣🏞🧗 there current products across all manufacturers are bad after 2022.

If you plan on keeping it over 100k miles don't buy one with direct injection ,turbo or a timing belt. If you just keep it til manufacturers warranty is done it don't really matter all that much other than inconvenience if it breaks down. Or a belt driven oil pump🤦

Take this with a grain of salt. Some inconsistencies with this video. Sorry, the Sierra op is quite inaccurate. The Sierra is one of the best pickup trucks in the genre.
