Baking the Best Banana Upside Down Cake

  • With bittersweet caramel and sweet banana, everyone will love this upside down cake. It is perfect with whipped cream and ice cream.
    it looks gorgeous in the glazing caramel- banana topping on the top of the moist cake.

    ▶️ Ingredients:
    For Caramelize
    1) 50g Granulated Sugar: amzn.to/3OK8RDE
    2) 1 Tbsp Water
    3) 1 Tbsp Hot Water
    For Cake
    1) 2 Banana
    2) 1 Large Egg
    3) 40g Granulated Sugar: amzn.to/3OK8RDE
    4) 50g Cake Flour: amzn.to/3Mawt22
    5) 40g Melted Butter
    ▶️ Cooking method
    1) Spread butter in a baking pan and keep aside
    2) Add granulated sugar and water into a sauce pan
    3) Heat the pan until the sugar caramelize
    4) Add 1 Tbsp hot water and swirl the pan
    5) Pour the caramel into the cake pan
    6) Halve the banana and place it at the bottom of the pan.
    7) Add an egg into a large bowl
    8) Add granulated sugar and beat with a hand mixer
    9) Swift cake flour into the bowl and mix with a spatula
    10) Take melted butter, add some batter into it and mix well, then pour it back.
    11) Mix well with a spatula.
    12) Pour the batter into the cakepan.
    13) Bake it for 28 minute at 338°F / 170°C in a preheated oven.
    14) Let it cool for 30 minutes.
    15) Cover the cake pan with a plate and turn it upside down.
