I really like that you mentioned the upper arm connection to the chest. Your solid teaching (with clear and simple explanations) is helping my game immensely. You sure have found your calling in life. Thanks so much !!
I wish I had the benefit of this lesson 20 years ago. It took me all that time to get to the same conclusion and result. As long as you can persuade your arms to respond and not dominate and your hands to give the club freedom to go where physics dictates. Wonderful!
I love your blogs in showing in what us amateurs do, you are so right and so so true, my game has changed over the years in watching you, in what you do, I have a short swing as am a pensioner too, only 5 foot two, I started off in life taller, but gravity brings one down a peg or two! I was once a golfer in which you have shown in this blog, But now older and wiser and there is no fog, you knowledge is priceless in unclogging our blog! I wish you lived nearer Alex, so I could give you a hug!
Since I saw your first video on the short back swing, it has changed my game. I thank you for this. I often still find myself going too long, and it’s shows in the results.
Just one tip that no other coach has given. Put your triseps on your moobs. Been to the Range today and smashed straight drives. I've had a slice that's plagued my game since I started last year. Many thanks. I'll get back to you when I get back to the course next week.
I love your teaching, you've helped me alot. I'm 71 yrs old and an 8 handicap. The biggest problem I have is maintaining rhythm late in the round.Old age I guess. Any thoughts from you would help alot. Thanks
Unfortunately it depends. The grip, release, club.. and type of swing all vary greatly. In addition the feel is key too. But I would say yes. Applying the pressure from trail side and hand feel would help many
Due to an elbow injury, my right arm will not bend and is 1 3/4 inches shorter. I am forced to a restricted backswing because I can’t completely follow thru. Any suggestions???
When I have good tempo I hit most shots well. When I try to swing faster I spray both sides. How can I have a nice and slow tempo but still have speed?
Let me know your questions and if this resonated!
At impact which hand hv more speed n piwernor tge same

I’m delighted to hear that and keep at air. We all have our tendencies that don’t always help us so we have to chip away as it were
Great distinction between the two types of swing. Never thought the short swing could be managed very well

Yes lol! Connection without restriction! Keep at it
No one is teaching like this. Excellent!
Not enough of folks are doing what they need to without awareness
Absolutely brilliant video, makes sense to me so much! 👍
Fred Couples fluid swing remains my most preferred.
Delighted to hear it resonated! Cheers 🏌️♂️👍

Awesome video! Great explanation of both types of swings.

There is a video coming here soon in finding your tempo. You can also make it an easy goal of completing your backswing and finishing with balance
Hit through at the target, don’t hit at the ball. Great stuff.
Simples 🏌️♂️👍
At the impact the power of both hands should be at same power or which one. The speed i think the right hand should hv more speed?

You are so on target. Excellent swing thought.

You can do a lot still. More than enough. See the lesson crack the whip from a few weeks ago.

It's about a gathering feel. And watch out Crack the whip video from a few weeks back
