Your collection has inspired me to start collecting Sylvanian families/Calico Critters! My first family I ordered is the Sea Breeze Rabbits! This community is so positive, I can’t wait to be a part of it. 💙
I just love, and really appreciate, all the research you have in your videos. I really enjoy the background and history and comparison of different sets. Thank you!
Great Video! All sets are extremely beautiful. The oldtimer and the sewing machine are my favourites - probably because I like vintage cars and sewing 😅😆 And the double sided cabinet is great, too. This would be a piece of furniture I could try to make as a DIY for one of my Plamobil homes.
What an amazing haul of vintage items! How lucky to find that beautiful white car brand new too! I love the packaging for the car and the Wildwood's, so ornate! I've been telling myself for the longest time I don't need the vintage dress shop, no where to display it, have the flair version etc, etc but seeing all those accessories...its back on the wishlist. I laughed out loud at the rationalising part 🤣
It's always fun to go back and take a look at some of these older items. The dressmaker shop has so many dress forms and hangers for one set, wow. You could probably krazy glue the broken hanger rod back together. That double sided cabinet is so interesting. I love the look of it. I don't think I've ever seen that car before. Very nice.
The sewing machine and shop are definitely on my top 10 wishlist. I also like the color of the rabbits. I love to see, and I think my critters like to sew too, lol!
Thanks for sharing, now I know more about Sylvanian history. I actually just bought a grand piano from Facebook Sylvanian Families Club. The grand piano was printed urban life and I was suspicious if it was real Sylvanian Families item. Now I’m certain after watching your video.
I love the vintage items. I go straight to the vintage page when I check sylvanianstorekeepers site. I have been bidding on some items on eBay but always lose. There are some serious collectors out there with serious money. I wanted a NIB bullrush frog family. It went for around $200!! Out of my league unfortunately. Also- I wish Mansell Ireland still did videos. I love baby Andreas!
Same, I don't think I could pay more than $70-80 for a family, and only if I desperately wanted it (Bulldogs, Lavender Rabbits, etc). I'd rather get a cool building or several cool things for the collection that we can enjoy, rather than 1 thing I'll be afraid to open. I passed on Mr. Webster for that reason (and he was "only" $100). But the frogs, owls, or any of the original Urban Life families... if I was a millionaire I would but I ain't LOL!!
Ahh so exciting! Great finds! I love the sewing machine, it looks so detailed and fancy 😍 the car looks so white! Mine's gone a bit yellow but I have had it for 15 years at Christmas.
So jelly! I’ve had the dressmaker’s shop on my eBay watch list for so long… only one for $275! And it’s missing a drawer on the sewing table & only has 2 dress forms, no hanging rack. But it does look like the machine that came with this set. I have the real Singer treadle sewing machine in human size & one of my first jobs in life was an apprentice seamstress, but even the cheapest sewing machine by itself this size is like $90! Also the “sewing with mother” set they’re asking $120+! So ya, well out of my critter budget.
Oh wow that's so cool to have a real vintage Singer!! My grandmother was an expert seamstress, made us doll clothes (and actual clothes) all the time, and had one as well as a vintage embroidery machine/table. That thing is HUGE (it's in storage now and looks QUITE complicated). My MIL is a big quilter, she has multiple commercial quilting machines - her church friends come over for quilting parties, they make/sell quilts for charity. We have so many amazing quilts she gifted us, each with a special meaning. Sewing is so special, there's something about it! I should dust off my machine and make some critter clothes, I often think about that!
I just got the sylvanian families ambulance with paramedic set and I’m obsessed I got it complete for 70$ it was so worth it I got it from Facebook market place.
WOAH yes worth every penny!!! Especially complete! That plus the woodland bus, VW camper, and station wagon are the 4 left on my top 5 vehicle list. Ambulance might be #1! So lucky, I’m so happy for you!
@@AdventuresinCritterland I also have the station wagon in the burgundy colour I started collecting in the flair era so I have lots of rare sets but the vintage car you got and the primrose lodge is on my wish list.
@@AdventuresinCritterland I will send a photo of my set up once I open my canal boat and have my country doctor out as I’m not finished but if you want good scenery look at model train shops and websites as the scale works perfect with sylvanian families
this is so exciting can so exciting, i love the vintage items! i do hope to own somebody one day, it was also very interesting to hear about the history of these critters so thank you for this video :)
What's the difference between honey bee acres and little woodsies can they all go in the same house or vehicles still grieving lost my mom from the cancer my mom supported my Channel with autism special needs abdl ddlg lifestyle
HoneyBee Acres are by Walmart, Li'l Woodzeez are by Target (neither are part of the Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters brand). Both are compatible with Sylvanians and can fit in most houses/vehicles, however Woodzeez are a lot chubbier and may not fit in some of the HoneyBee or Sylvanian cars or furniture items as well.
Great video! I love to see this one 😊
