hi riley! thanks for the video. i’m planning on using the a7siii to shoot prores raw for the first time and was just curious if you would know if i need to keep the picture profile off or set it to slog3 (since you mentioned that the base iso would be 640/12800). just curious if that mattered at all.
This video was so helpful for me. I recorded my first Pro Res Raw video for my youtube channel here ruclips.net/video/OvyMY5j_vHg/видео.html. I only have one lens for my Fx3 and it's the 35 f1.4 gm which is great for me in the studio. However, soon i will be filming myself in the woods and sometimes riding my onewheel. Do you think the Zeiss 16-35mm f4 will be okay in wooded environments? Would it be overkill to get a 24-70mm gm if it set up on a tripod?
Hey man ! nice video, Just bought my Ninja V to record ProRes RAW on my A7SIII, the problem is that every time I switch to record in ProRes RAW the monitor has a massive delay of the image ! This doesn't happen when I only use it as a monitor, is this normal ? is it fixable ? Thanks !
Thanks Lucas! This shouldn’t be happening. There shouldn’t be a delay (maybe a frame or two is normal but it shouldn’t be noticeable). I would check your HDMI cable maybe. Good luck!
your colour grading is right on point , I gotta learn that
b-roll shots were good bro
the blue light in the background looks dope bro
Thanks dude!!
Thanks Riley.. it’s good stuff man. Keep it going.

Thanks Dan! Gotta represent the PNW!

Thanks dude! 😁
crucial mx500 1TB SSD works too with a7siii and atomos ninja v in 4k 60 ProRes RAW.
Good to know! Thanks for sharing!
Is anybody tested smallrig hdmi cable? Will it work in 4k 60p?

I believe you have to shoot slog 3 by default. I don’t think you have another option in raw.
@@RileyEndicott Thanks!

the 28-75mm tamron is dope AF
thank you
Have you tried capturing footage using s-cinetone via the atomos ninja?
I haven't tried it yet. It won't be possible with ProRes Raw but standard ProRes should work just fine.
