He’s played quite a few big roles, but the ones he’s always excited about are the smaller local projects he gets to be a part of, and every weekend without fail he’s rehearsing and performing at local venues as a musician. Now I can’t see his characters as anything more than suppressed hippies 🤷🏻♀️
so as far as I can understand, the only way to beat this game is talk to a dog to get sent back in time to Venice and enjoy a nice lasagna, then you ask the same dog to send you to new vegas to compress a mountain sized turtle into a black hole then taking a nap back in the future
@@qiang2884 True, but they implemented a new Insomnia after the first release, installing the Kings of Yore, three kings you have to fight and are twenty times harder than Ardyn. Which is normal for FF honestly. They also put Omega Weapon in as an optional boss. But still, there are people who complete the game without ever going past Level 1. I can't, but there are people who have--then go on to complain that a game never designed for Level 1 runs isn't built for Level 1 runs.
btw he didn't mention the black hole trick doesn't work every time. You'd do better sapping it progressively with the same ring, just a different skill. That takes longer but works every time.
@@sudanemamimikiki1527 I do absolutely think Comrades was the intended combat, but because the new creative director was given only 3 years to fix the mess Nomura left behind after 7 years, they had to water down the main game's combat. It got much better with free updates and the royal edition, but Comrades is still a lot more fun. There are just random installations through the world that makes me think Cid being the upgrading method by just handing him the weapons and materials and waiting a while wasn't the original plan.
Other games: For infinite xp, you must use this specific item while pressing your controller against the wall, duplicating it and giving you the experience. FFXV: Travel back in time, murder a Turtle Demigod by throwing a black hole at it, travel back to the future, eat Lasagna and sleep in a hotel.

Equip three Moogle Charms for XP boost 2. Eat Lasagna 3. Craft magic that both damages and gives an XP boost. 4. Kill the giant turtle and other super bosses repeatedly 5. Return to Altissia and find the SPECIFIC CLERK that offers a 3.0 boost (because there are two, and only one offers it) 6. Jump to level 119 because life sucks and you'll need to work harder than ever before to max at 120
I remember when I was watching my friend play this on their birthday, we actually did the math on how much the Cup Noodle costs in-game compared to real life and with how much fuel costs in-game and in real life and do a comparison with each other. From what I remember, gas is very abundant in the world of Final Fantasy XV that it costs basically 50 cents to fill up your car's tank full while a single Cup Noodle costs about the same as gas prices were back in 2017 per gallon. Cup Noodle is treated more of a luxury than gas is in Final Fantasy XV.
There's monsters everywhere so travel (even by car) is VERY rare. Not to mention to sudden drop in population. Food would be more in demand, enabling food retailers to hike their prices up exponentially.

12:54 Actually, fun fact about that. On release, it did NOT work on the turtle. The devs UPDATED THE GAME to MAKE IT work on the turtle. But the thing is, Max0r didn't actually cover this properly, because it doesn't ALWAYS work on the turtle. It has a very small chance to. So the most efficient leveling method is to eat Lasagne, buy like 50 Hi-Elixirs, Try the ring, if it fails, take a Hi-Elixir and try again, rinse and repeat until it works, and then sleep at a specific room in the hotel in *Venezuela*

The thing that not alot of people know is that the ring's life drain thing does eventually insta kill the turtle once enough of the mass has been stripped off his body and pops like a balloon, it takes about...30 minutes? but doing the blackhole can also take 30 minutes or longer due to the chances or it could happen first try.

My photo at the end of the game was one of the like 40 Prompto took of blind Ignis fallen over mid battle. Noctis showing that to Lunafreya and them both smiling and laughing was one of the most surreal and unexpected gaming moments I've ever had.

Skill builds upon Talent. Someone with a talent for playing piano will be able to play piano without having ever practiced playing a piano, and in addition will always play much better than someone who has no talent yet also practices doing the same thing. I often call this game "the worst game I've ever loved" and I always find it hard to explain what exactly I mean by that. This video sums up my feelings perfectly Also yeah, they do have a reason as to why there are 114 kings (including Noctis) dispite there kingdom only being 2000 years old. Basically using the rings power literally takes years off of your life, so they have to breed like fucking rabbits to make sure their kingdom has a ruler. FFXV is baffling because it can be really emotional and engaging, or become an insane batshit experience depending on the playthrough. The fact that they let you put ANY photo for the final scene is baffling especially since the game itself likes taking goofy photos, but that kind of thing is what makes it endearing to me (Plus the DLC is actually pretty good).
I think they were relying on the aura of the moment having you go with a sentimental picture, but also probably recognized there would be people who chose the Cup Noodle picture. They clearly understood part of the draw for this game would be the goofy parts, like having Noctis fight Ardyn, dressed as Altair Ibn-La'ahad, or in a sombrero.
I literally had my final photo be the one where noctis and Gladius's sister are laying on a bed together...the second luna pulled it out and looked at it with noctis was the funniest stuff that ever happened...only followed by figuring out at the end of the day...my final level was 69 over that photo... Frankly this game is legendary to me for how ridiculous it unintentionally is...

My personal Break The Game experience actually involved going into a high-level dungeon after getting the ability to claim regalia and fighting a samurai monster that could annihilate the entire party instantly. Except me, because I knew how to dodge, parry, and riposte. So, the fight was basically me dropping three magic grenades on him, then parrying and avoiding the occasional AOE attack until I killed him, then complete the quest. It's a level 50+ quest with a level 50+ boss you can clear at level 5-10 if you master the mechanics. You make enough experience off of it to elevate Noctis to godhood for the early game. You: "What about the rest of the party?" Me: "What *about* the rest of the party? I've just finished establishing that they're all kinda useless and I'm the only one who matters. They can wait until I can cheese the mountain turtle for their turn to ascend to godhood."
Bruh I remember this quest, the funny/awesome part for me was that in fighting so hard...I kept on having carbuncle (which was back when it popped up more if you played the demo) pop in and rez everyone. Out of all the ff15 summons carbuncle became my God in that moment as I basically level skipped to like 40-50 something from like 12-15 (Edit: I do stress how hilarious this was...I went down like 4-7 times, literally fighting knowing I was suposd to die...but literally the cute crystal dog REFUSED to let me die. In that moment carbuncle established itself as MORE useful, and more canonically helpful than ANY of the summons.)
@@reedman0780 seriously, I would praise carbuncle as the one true God of ff15, for they are the one who controls life and death...the other summons maybe more showey, but none of them came to aid me against the bullshit this game sometimes throws at you...carbuncle though always seemed to answer my prayers of aid.
@@thechangeling3851 Lol, it took me multiple tries to get this guy, but by the time I finally beat him, I did so without Carbuncle having to come out once. What always got me about the entire experience was that the enemies in the dungeon were level 5-10 goblins. But the boss was a level 50+ samurai murder machine. Max0r was right, this game's enemy and boss placement makes absolutely zero sense.
I felt like the dungeons were the hidden gems of the game, except Castlemark (bad game design), and the 4 usually made good dialogue for each specific dungeon. Layout and visuals were really good, even scary at times, wish it was all dungeon crawling.
Honestly, I liked playing the game. My last photo that summed up my experience was a picture I took of Noctis and the gang crowding around a baby chocobo, and I must admit that it made the last moments pretty special for me. It was one of the photos I took after talking to that teleporting dog with the letters for the first time, and it made the scene a lot more wholesome because the baby was so cute.
Aww, no mention of the 3 hour nightmare parkour dungeon only accessible by the flying car that instantly kills you if you don't have surgeon level precision? That was one of the most memorable parts of the game for me, and it was only surpassed when I realized that the item you get from it is absolutely useless.
The worst part about that reward is that the only thing between you and just yeeting it is a head-high wall that you, for some reason, can't just climb, jump or warp over.
Well, he also thinks there are zero side quests in Altissia, so he clearly didn't play a lot of aspects of the game. The item's actually pretty cool for someone like me tho. I have a condition that makes gaming painful (which is real fun given I love the likes of Devil May Cry, and occasionally play Bloodborne), so being able to have Noctis auto-dodge things is great, even if it's only 50% of the time.
You know what I did when I completed it? I walked off the fucking ledge accidentally without picking up the fucking item, due in part to how fucking unceremoniously it was sitting there. What dogshit design to just plop it on the fucking ground without even a chest or something, as well as at a ledge you can not easily get back up to. Fuck that place. Fuck

5:40 was the biggest problem with the game for me. We get this depressing ass first couple chapters finding out our dad is dead and. Everything we have ever known is gone and then we go on a cross country road trip with the boys having all sort of fun and happiness only to then get hit with depression in the last 20%.
Can't believe I completely skipped the part where I can return to the past at the end and fought all of the remaining enemies, including the final boss while doing BARELY. ANY. FUCKING. DAMAGE!

I found XV to be a relaxing little puff of nothing exactly when I needed it. Covid turned my work into a total hellscape for about four months. I needed a game I didn't have to take seriously. This gorgeous but obviously broken Hot Topic bromance road trip was perfect. I don't think I've ever played anything that seemed so polished in some areas but such an incomprehensible hackjob in others.
i honestly loved everything about this game. its definitely not the best but its fun enjoying has a great story and characters ignoring the person who noctis is supposed marry but this game was a fantastic experience for the most part
Sometimes it just comes down to, "can I dive into this and disappear from the world", and the experience feeling great. If it feels good to me in the moment, I don't care that it doesn't work other times. If it feels good to me in the moment, I'm not focused on the overall plot I'm just enjoying seeing shit happen, etc. All the things described as bad are true, but also, they're not what I"m there to have fun with in the first place.

The summons work on how bad you're doing. The lower that Noctis'susses health goes, the higher the chance of summons. This raises a real question: why does random wildlife electrocute me to summons while the Empire is free levels?
The whole Empire was a joke anyway regarding gameplay. What are they doing? They send these transporters after, which per se you can also just ignore and when you get there, everone is already dead anyway. But Squares loves to do this, same in FF14, biggest antagonits is a continent sized high tech empire, while your side does not even have god powers or whatever, but they do shit all the time and just fall apart off screen. Obviously Square is simply too lazy...

when i first booted the game up i let the opening menu song play completely and i cried. great music. then when u beat the game and the title artwork changes to noctis and luna holding each other. aw man i cried.
The reason the game is so unfinished is because of Nomura, due to the fact that he spent ten years designing how many zippers the boys were going to have in their outfits and nothing else. The second director got two years to do literally everything else except character design. And then got fired (pardon me, "resigned") after doing DLC's.
(the actual reason is that staff got pulled off this game to work on like a million other things because it was supposed to be a side game, and then out of nowhere they decided it would be FF15 and tossed Nomura out. He's clearly still bitter given he decided to make VS 13 a thing in Kingdom Hearts as revenge)
I remember playing this game, having the illusion of choice, and then getting upset when my wife died and I could do nothing to stop it. And then got upset when I had to kill myself to win. This is an accurate description of the game.

X/X2 were already kinda painful if you wanted the full story, XIII made me want to hurt someone at Square and XV is basically just one big middle finger if you actually wanna understand what's going on. I feel nothing but disdain for big budget studios that demand you consume supplementary material for stuff that should've been in the goddamn game in the first place.

@@coca_0146 I mean, in episode Ardyn he was literally locked inside a rock or sth for eternity until the evil empire busted him out. He got cucked by his brother who also stole his throne because the gods said so. He had the audacity to get angry about this so he attacks his brother and thus was imprisoned by the gods. His entire plan was to get back at Bahamut because Bahamut is a piece of shit and the reason why Noctis had to kill himself at the end of the game. The cancelled DLC was supposed to be about Noctis and everyone else banding together to kick Bahamut's ass. Atleast that is how I assume things were supposed to go, I never bothered to buy the book.
@Otto Lilja ardyn was also set up to be the bad guy as he could absorb others starscourge without any noticeable changes to himself. Thus believing he was doing what the gods wanted. When in actuality it was slowly corrupting him making him unworthy of the crystal. Which was all part of the plan.

Play at least 10 and forward. Even the one that looks girly, 10-2 or X-2. A lot of guys enjoy the mechanics of that one. FF games are not connected by story, just elements. Games like FFVII and FFX are in the same world, but they happen so far apart, they might as well be unconnected.

Nomura gets a lot of shit, but most the reasom bis games never get finished has nothing to do with him, and his games would probably be significantly better if they stopped fucking him over and forcing him to work with the mouse.

Video games always go on and on about how "this weapon/artifact is capable of slaying a god, destroying a planet, obliterating the universe Et cetera. But when you actually get to use it in gameplay its practically always useless garbage that's inferior to what you already have. But in ffxv the ring of lucii actually lives up to its hype, and can completely annihilate most foes. (Granted that was after a patch that buffed it but still kickass)
The most impressive part of your videos is how at the end you say something serious, smart or profound. “This game is not worth your money but maybe it was worth my time,” is a term that not many pieces of media can fit.
I'd say my favourite part of the game is the final cutscene where BTS is just chilling around the fire and noctis goes all appreciative for his boys. Seeing how at the beginning of the game he was super arrogant and didn't care about anyone really really shows a final bit of change.
FFXV was honestly one of the best games I've played this year. Combat was fun, story was enjoyable, characters were lovable. Worth every penny I spent but it needs the DLC to get the most out of it.

It honestly depresses me. This game had such potential and you can see it in some of the mechanics. And then the entire game crashes in on itself in a multi-train pile up.
I'm more angry that they tried to sell us the finished game a year after release, without any type of discount for players who actually supported them. And no dropping the price by 10 dollars doesn't count.

It is what happened. The game was "developed for 10 years", but most work was done in the last 3 years. Barely anyone worked on this game during its first 7 years because of Square Enix's poor management that constantly shifted teams around to fix Final Fantasy XIII and XIV's game engine problem.
he then got an extention on it only for the teacher to yank the floor out from under them and they had to homeschool after. And this is BEFORE getting into how the original storywriters and such were screwed, GOD this game's development cycle was a mess and I can say that even without that much knowledge of its intricacies, it's that bad.

He’s played quite a few big roles, but the ones he’s always excited about are the smaller local projects he gets to be a part of, and every weekend without fail he’s rehearsing and performing at local venues as a musician. Now I can’t see his characters as anything more than suppressed hippies 🤷🏻♀️

Not really, I just played the open world for a while, not even completing half of the quests, and already has enough stats to beat the game.
@@qiang2884 True, but they implemented a new Insomnia after the first release, installing the Kings of Yore, three kings you have to fight and are twenty times harder than Ardyn. Which is normal for FF honestly. They also put Omega Weapon in as an optional boss.
But still, there are people who complete the game without ever going past Level 1. I can't, but there are people who have--then go on to complain that a game never designed for Level 1 runs isn't built for Level 1 runs.
btw he didn't mention the black hole trick doesn't work every time. You'd do better sapping it progressively with the same ring, just a different skill. That takes longer but works every time.
@@sudanemamimikiki1527 I do absolutely think Comrades was the intended combat, but because the new creative director was given only 3 years to fix the mess Nomura left behind after 7 years, they had to water down the main game's combat. It got much better with free updates and the royal edition, but Comrades is still a lot more fun. There are just random installations through the world that makes me think Cid being the upgrading method by just handing him the weapons and materials and waiting a while wasn't the original plan.

I remember when I was watching my friend play this on their birthday, we actually did the math on how much the Cup Noodle costs in-game compared to real life and with how much fuel costs in-game and in real life and do a comparison with each other. From what I remember, gas is very abundant in the world of Final Fantasy XV that it costs basically 50 cents to fill up your car's tank full while a single Cup Noodle costs about the same as gas prices were back in 2017 per gallon. Cup Noodle is treated more of a luxury than gas is in Final Fantasy XV.
There's monsters everywhere so travel (even by car) is VERY rare. Not to mention to sudden drop in population. Food would be more in demand, enabling food retailers to hike their prices up exponentially.

12:54 Actually, fun fact about that. On release, it did NOT work on the turtle. The devs UPDATED THE GAME to MAKE IT work on the turtle. But the thing is, Max0r didn't actually cover this properly, because it doesn't ALWAYS work on the turtle. It has a very small chance to. So the most efficient leveling method is to eat Lasagne, buy like 50 Hi-Elixirs, Try the ring, if it fails, take a Hi-Elixir and try again, rinse and repeat until it works, and then sleep at a specific room in the hotel in *Venezuela*
Most efficient leveling method is Cactaur timed quest. Adamantoise is far too inconsistent, and slower nonetheless.

Precisely what I did on my second play through because I wasn’t having this games bs any longer. I was tired of being spin to win’d by a robot. 6 times in a row without any window to leave
The thing that not alot of people know is that the ring's life drain thing does eventually insta kill the turtle once enough of the mass has been stripped off his body and pops like a balloon, it takes about...30 minutes? but doing the blackhole can also take 30 minutes or longer due to the chances or it could happen first try.

Also yeah, they do have a reason as to why there are 114 kings (including Noctis) dispite there kingdom only being 2000 years old. Basically using the rings power literally takes years off of your life, so they have to breed like fucking rabbits to make sure their kingdom has a ruler. FFXV is baffling because it can be really emotional and engaging, or become an insane batshit experience depending on the playthrough. The fact that they let you put ANY photo for the final scene is baffling especially since the game itself likes taking goofy photos, but that kind of thing is what makes it endearing to me (Plus the DLC is actually pretty good).

I think they were relying on the aura of the moment having you go with a sentimental picture, but also probably recognized there would be people who chose the Cup Noodle picture.
They clearly understood part of the draw for this game would be the goofy parts, like having Noctis fight Ardyn, dressed as Altair Ibn-La'ahad, or in a sombrero.
I literally had my final photo be the one where noctis and Gladius's sister are laying on a bed together...the second luna pulled it out and looked at it with noctis was the funniest stuff that ever happened...only followed by figuring out at the end of the day...my final level was 69 over that photo...
Frankly this game is legendary to me for how ridiculous it unintentionally is...

My personal Break The Game experience actually involved going into a high-level dungeon after getting the ability to claim regalia and fighting a samurai monster that could annihilate the entire party instantly. Except me, because I knew how to dodge, parry, and riposte. So, the fight was basically me dropping three magic grenades on him, then parrying and avoiding the occasional AOE attack until I killed him, then complete the quest.
It's a level 50+ quest with a level 50+ boss you can clear at level 5-10 if you master the mechanics. You make enough experience off of it to elevate Noctis to godhood for the early game.
You: "What about the rest of the party?"
Me: "What *about* the rest of the party? I've just finished establishing that they're all kinda useless and I'm the only one who matters. They can wait until I can cheese the mountain turtle for their turn to ascend to godhood."
Bruh I remember this quest, the funny/awesome part for me was that in fighting so hard...I kept on having carbuncle (which was back when it popped up more if you played the demo) pop in and rez everyone. Out of all the ff15 summons carbuncle became my God in that moment as I basically level skipped to like 40-50 something from like 12-15
(Edit: I do stress how hilarious this was...I went down like 4-7 times, literally fighting knowing I was suposd to die...but literally the cute crystal dog REFUSED to let me die. In that moment carbuncle established itself as MORE useful, and more canonically helpful than ANY of the summons.)

@@thechangeling3851 Lol, it took me multiple tries to get this guy, but by the time I finally beat him, I did so without Carbuncle having to come out once. What always got me about the entire experience was that the enemies in the dungeon were level 5-10 goblins. But the boss was a level 50+ samurai murder machine. Max0r was right, this game's enemy and boss placement makes absolutely zero sense.
This game has some of the most baffling decisions I’ve even seen and is broken beyond belief. It’s still one of my favorite games.

I felt like the dungeons were the hidden gems of the game, except Castlemark (bad game design), and the 4 usually made good dialogue for each specific dungeon. Layout and visuals were really good, even scary at times, wish it was all dungeon crawling.

Honestly, I liked playing the game.
My last photo that summed up my experience was a picture I took of Noctis and the gang crowding around a baby chocobo, and I must admit that it made the last moments pretty special for me. It was one of the photos I took after talking to that teleporting dog with the letters for the first time, and it made the scene a lot more wholesome because the baby was so cute.
Back when me and my dad played it, on our 1st play throughs, we chose a picture of Cindy bending over. Made the cutscene SO much better.

Aww, no mention of the 3 hour nightmare parkour dungeon only accessible by the flying car that instantly kills you if you don't have surgeon level precision? That was one of the most memorable parts of the game for me, and it was only surpassed when I realized that the item you get from it is absolutely useless.
The worst part about that reward is that the only thing between you and just yeeting it is a head-high wall that you, for some reason, can't just climb, jump or warp over.
Well, he also thinks there are zero side quests in Altissia, so he clearly didn't play a lot of aspects of the game.
The item's actually pretty cool for someone like me tho. I have a condition that makes gaming painful (which is real fun given I love the likes of Devil May Cry, and occasionally play Bloodborne), so being able to have Noctis auto-dodge things is great, even if it's only 50% of the time.
You know what I did when I completed it? I walked off the fucking ledge accidentally without picking up the fucking item, due in part to how fucking unceremoniously it was sitting there. What dogshit design to just plop it on the fucking ground without even a chest or something, as well as at a ledge you can not easily get back up to. Fuck that place. Fuck

5:40 was the biggest problem with the game for me. We get this depressing ass first couple chapters finding out our dad is dead and. Everything we have ever known is gone and then we go on a cross country road trip with the boys having all sort of fun and happiness only to then get hit with depression in the last 20%.

I found XV to be a relaxing little puff of nothing exactly when I needed it. Covid turned my work into a total hellscape for about four months. I needed a game I didn't have to take seriously. This gorgeous but obviously broken Hot Topic bromance road trip was perfect. I don't think I've ever played anything that seemed so polished in some areas but such an incomprehensible hackjob in others.
i honestly loved everything about this game. its definitely not the best but its fun enjoying has a great story and characters ignoring the person who noctis is supposed marry but this game was a fantastic experience for the most part
Sometimes it just comes down to, "can I dive into this and disappear from the world", and the experience feeling great. If it feels good to me in the moment, I don't care that it doesn't work other times. If it feels good to me in the moment, I'm not focused on the overall plot I'm just enjoying seeing shit happen, etc. All the things described as bad are true, but also, they're not what I"m there to have fun with in the first place.

None of the other games felt the same type of empty that 15 felt it’s 20 hours of pretty much side missions until you time skip non of the plot matters until Ardyn make ignis blind when he uses the ring

The summons work on how bad you're doing. The lower that Noctis'susses health goes, the higher the chance of summons.
This raises a real question: why does random wildlife electrocute me to summons while the Empire is free levels?
The whole Empire was a joke anyway regarding gameplay.
What are they doing? They send these transporters after, which per se you can also just ignore and when you get there, everone is already dead anyway.
But Squares loves to do this, same in FF14, biggest antagonits is a continent sized high tech empire, while your side does not even have god powers or whatever, but they do shit all the time and just fall apart off screen.
Obviously Square is simply too lazy...

The reason the game is so unfinished is because of Nomura, due to the fact that he spent ten years designing how many zippers the boys were going to have in their outfits and nothing else.
The second director got two years to do literally everything else except character design. And then got fired (pardon me, "resigned") after doing DLC's.
Actually the only part of the character designs Nomura did was the heads. Neck down was a fashion designer.
(the actual reason is that staff got pulled off this game to work on like a million other things because it was supposed to be a side game, and then out of nowhere they decided it would be FF15 and tossed Nomura out. He's clearly still bitter given he decided to make VS 13 a thing in Kingdom Hearts as revenge)

He got cucked by his brother who also stole his throne because the gods said so. He had the audacity to get angry about this so he attacks his brother and thus was imprisoned by the gods. His entire plan was to get back at Bahamut because Bahamut is a piece of shit and the reason why Noctis had to kill himself at the end of the game. The cancelled DLC was supposed to be about Noctis and everyone else banding together to kick Bahamut's ass. Atleast that is how I assume things were supposed to go, I never bothered to buy the book.

Final fantasy 15 was the best fishing simulator I ever played. It even had a rpg minigame which was nice too.

Video games always go on and on about how "this weapon/artifact is capable of slaying a god, destroying a planet, obliterating the universe Et cetera. But when you actually get to use it in gameplay its practically always useless garbage that's inferior to what you already have.
But in ffxv the ring of lucii actually lives up to its hype, and can completely annihilate most foes.
(Granted that was after a patch that buffed it but still kickass)
The most impressive part of your videos is how at the end you say something serious, smart or profound. “This game is not worth your money but maybe it was worth my time,” is a term that not many pieces of media can fit.

I'd say my favourite part of the game is the final cutscene where BTS is just chilling around the fire and noctis goes all appreciative for his boys. Seeing how at the beginning of the game he was super arrogant and didn't care about anyone really really shows a final bit of change.

FFXV was honestly one of the best games I've played this year. Combat was fun, story was enjoyable, characters were lovable. Worth every penny I spent but it needs the DLC to get the most out of it.

It honestly depresses me. This game had such potential and you can see it in some of the mechanics.
And then the entire game crashes in on itself in a multi-train pile up.
It really is a shame, because when the game was still Versus 13 it looked a lot more fun and interesting than what we ended up with.
I'm more angry that they tried to sell us the finished game a year after release, without any type of discount for players who actually supported them. And no dropping the price by 10 dollars doesn't count.

It is what happened. The game was "developed for 10 years", but most work was done in the last 3 years. Barely anyone worked on this game during its first 7 years because of Square Enix's poor management that constantly shifted teams around to fix Final Fantasy XIII and XIV's game engine problem.
he then got an extention on it only for the teacher to yank the floor out from under them and they had to homeschool after.
And this is BEFORE getting into how the original storywriters and such were screwed, GOD this game's development cycle was a mess and I can say that even without that much knowledge of its intricacies, it's that bad.
