Went from Ha Ha funny man to Holy shit he's serious....
0 is my most replayed Yakuza game lol
Hey Max0r did you know the best way to grind Kiryu's Real Estate thingy is by doing all of your investments at once and then waiting outside and using your phone to play, like, Genshin or whatever for 5 minutes, then going back in to do it all again? It's tedious but it works.
if you want to farm even faster you can try looking for mr shakedown, since you will have already used the money it wont be too risky, but taking a break while farming is good too
Indeed. With the Encounter Finder you can hunt him down.
A guide helps you track down all locations too for faster acquisition and investment.
This is the quality I expect from you Maxboy, good shit.
3:32 "Switching to pirate captain..." Maxor has no idea.
I'm not gonna lie, the majima singing part with the background fighting is the best yakuza ad ever.
Agree.
I've seen several people sync the head slam with the song and it's incredible every single time
Majima being called a pirate captain at 3:33 aged so well
"Awano is a GENSHIN IMPACT player, only desiring money and women" Holy shit my sides
Kind of hoping there would be a part where he said “He then stops playing and realizes the error of his ways, finding the nearest wall and forcefully presenting it to Majima”
I haven't cried laughing this much in a long fucking while holy shit. I'm a big Yakuza fan and I feel like this video is even funnier because of it
10/10
I bought the game because of this video, and I will say it improved my gameplay enjoyment so much. And this vid just keeps on getting funnier the more I progress
I noticed some inaccuracies in this video:
1.) Beast Mode is actually fucking OP. Become monke.
2.) They're only the Five Prostitution Daimyo of OSAKA, not all of Japan.
3.) You DO need to play pool for three hours. To build immersion. That's why they put it in the game.
wrong
I don't think #1 is an inaccuracy, I think he was being sarcastic. Though to be fair, it wasn't very obvious that he was being sarcastic due to the tone of his voice.
3:35 congrats maxor. You’re a prophet.
3:34 aged beautifully
I guess his comment about Goro Majima being a Pirate Captain aged like a fine wine
"Pirate captain goro majima" aged like a fine wine
Oh man Max0r is playing Yakuza now. I can't wait until he gets to 7 where you save the day with the power of untreated schizophrenia and that grenade you find in the sewers
Everyone loves the hostes game. We loved it so much that they brought it back in Kiwami 2.
Yeah!
Not just in kiwami in sure theres one more
@@francismendiola5057 I still haven't gotten past Yakuza 3. I know it's petty to not play because of old graphics and I know I'd enjoy it but it does stop me from starting and there's so much other stuff I want to play.
@@Irimu_ cant blame ya. Y3 made me struggle as well. Its clunky.
@@francismendiola5057 there's a hostess management game in 3-5 but it's way rougher than 0's. You can see how it evolves but it's not actually good until 0.
I played Yakuza 0 just because of this video and I actually cried once and almost cried three times while playing the main story. Just so you know, I almost never cry, so that is a huge compliment to the game.
Perhaps Max0r was the real editing software all along
Thank You For Changing the thumbnail, sad to see that the cosplayer in the old thumbnail turned out to be a persona fan
"Pirate Captain Majima" is hilarious now that 3 years later he's getting his own game as a Pirate Captain. 😂
I played through all the Yakuza games and all I’m saying is that this is pretty accurate to all of them
This vid makes me want to try it, should I just play 0 or should i try to play thru the older games first
@@hibiskus828 Play 0, it's the highlight of the franchise for a lot of people and designed as a good entry point for new players.
@@hibiskus828 def Yakuza 0
@@hibiskus828 Yakuza 0 or if you have a ps2 and everything else start at 1, up to you but I do recommend 0
As a diehard Yakuza fan, this is one of the best and most honest reviews I've ever seen.
Man, I don't remember the last time a game made me cry, but after having played Kiwami, and then playing this game, the scene with Nishiki and Kiryu made me bawl.
I then proceed to go be a pimp for 4 days straight.
fuck I love these games.
Also, would like to add now that I've finished 0...that ending broke me
Majima's story in K2 gives you... A little bit of closure. Just enough to help you let go.
Can't wait for you to play 6 🥲
Playing Kiwami right after Zero is...hard. I felt it.
It broke us all....
Kiwami is a great story so far. Screw lau ka Wong and the bloody eye leaders.
He’s been hooked. I can only hope for reviews of the other games in the series.
As an Australian i can confirm its a lie that woman “dont like roo fighting” i have seen a group of 7 sheilas show up to watch a guy throw hands with a sigma roo
Who won?
@@mercenarygundam1487 the roo, they have armored balls
True thing, never fight a roo near water, they instinctually will drag you to it and try to drown you, something as kids we learned in the Aussie countryside.
@@atomicbuttocks isnt that the New fromsoft Game?
@@Underestimated37 I Like the implication that its okay to Fight kangaroos, Just Not near water 🤜🦘
Majima is canonically a pirate captain now lmao
The 24-Hour Cindarella and Koi No Disco Queen sections are probably the most accurate portrayal of the Yakuza series as a whole I've ever seen
good music edits right there
@@MonsieurMaskedManas a film student who has specialized in editing, it's downright genius. Maintaining rhythm and pace while giving a perfect thematic representation, stuff can rival the best of the film industries
The "Pirate Captain" comment about Majima was prophetic...
"Pirate captain Majima" That aged well
I respect how he really puts a full month of editing into every one of these videos. The first 2 minutes alone would take most editors a solid week.
3:33 "pirate captain Majima" Max0r was only joking...but now because of him it's canon...Majima is a Pirate now...
This man just made this game a metaphor about life itself then segways into mafia bosses and pizza joints. Truly, a visionary on another plane of understanding.
3:34 foreshadowing 2 years later
The title “Pirate Captain Majima” aged incredibly well
Ikr
Yakuza 0 is my favourite game , there isn't enough time to describe how the serious main story is incredibly well fused with weird humour and a shit ton of minigames that are all super cool
"Pirate Captain Goro Majima", you say? Well, funny thing about that...
I am filled with immense joy everytime I see somebody new find out how incredible the Yakuza series is.
"Pirate Captain Goro Majima" has aged well.
you predicted a game 3 years in advance lol 3:34 this is no longer a joke
3:33 What!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you predicted the future
the man who forgot his name
I never expected a Max0r review to make me emotional
really brings out Yakuza's atmosphere
3:34 “Pirate Captain Goro Majima”
BS RUclipsr prediction powers strike again!
The Beast style of fighting is pretty good it just relies heavily on picking them up then swinging your monkey like body mass at the suited pickles till they're fully disable and or have a skull that inverted itself
Yeah, this video leaves out just how cathartic owning someone with a motor scooter finisher is.
beast style is just fun
honestly one of the best Yakuza 0 reviews, perfectly captures just how whacky and inconsistent to game can be with its tones but it's that aspect that helps bring the game a fair amount of it's charm. absolutely love this series.
All the Yakuza players be wiping their tears with the bills of the "not dead" recipients of heat actions at that ending.
Glad 0 is still being appreciated even today.
Localize Ishin.
LOCALIZE IT NOW
localize ishin
Y e s .
For real, why it isn't localized yet? GODDAMIT!
localize this shit i need this in my life!!
When Max0r ends a video like this, you know the game is special
3:32 just remember, goro majima is getting a piratestyled game now
