Danet was diagnosed with ocular melanoma, a rare form of eye cancer in July 2020. She shared her story with me and went it was like, battling ocular melanoma.
Six months later, she began working for A Cure in Sight, a non profit of patients helping patients with ocular melanoma. Their mission is to bring clarity, support and compassion to the darkness of ocular melanoma, as well as educate patients and public about OM, fund research, and spread awareness.
