I have that Tandorio 36mm bronze since last year. I modded it with a domed acrylic crystal, a bronze buckle, I mattified the original leather strap and applied a quick patina in and out the case with ammonia vapors (the look is natural, it is just faster than waiting many months-years to have the same result). It really looks great with these modifications, I like this watch a lot !
Great list Wes 👌 . I bought a Steeldive Panerai bronzo homage last year but found it sat a bit strange on my wrist 😢 . Never ended up wearing it , still sitting in the cupboard . That Thorn 50 Fathoms homage looks fantastic ... hhmmmm . Cheers mate
I can highly recommend the IXDAO Bronze watch on this list as it is/was great to look at and wear. Sadly, Air France managed to lose my luggage containing the watch and from what I can see the prices have gone up maybe 10% since I bought in 2023.
Bronze isn't my thing, but good video 👍 What formal watch would you recommend £50 ISH ? I'm looking at the Berny swiss railroad with the st1613 or the sea-gull with the st17. Even the two pagani cocktail dials.

Given that the BB was one of the watches that really got the bronze trend going and considering how many steel BB's there are I think the Ali vendors are missing an opportunity. Will probably just get the Addies Willard to scratch the bronze itch so really appreciate your appraisal.
The beauty of the bronze watches represented is in the quality of the detail in each. You have chosen some real keepers here Wes. I must admit the upper end of your choices really captures my imagination and soon... wallet. Well done get them in soon.
The Boderry is not on a Canvas strap, it's on a leather strap. But it is indeed a NATO, and that is a bit of an issue because these tend to be rather bulky.
@@weswatches The one you showed was on suede leather, there are two colour options, but both leather. And I've only seen the bronze Voyager available on leather on AliExpress. There are Voyager listings on Ali with different strap options, but within those the bronze one is leather only.
Bronze can look kind of cheesy to me. I do like both Thorn offerings 🍻 Cheers Wes

I believe there are both options ie. Leather and canvas. Considering my titanium Voyager sits on a canvas strap☝️
