So, thing is, from the first to over 2 or 3 years from game release, there was a script on vertibirds for drama sake, in witch Bethesda scripted for them to spin dramatically and fall around the player when it get killed, this generated 2 problems, 1- the vertibirds started falling and exploding right in the players head. 2- the vertibirds literally chase the player while death spinning. I remember back then I even tested this, i placed a vertibirds over starlight drive-in, fast travel to Concord, started running to red rocket, and killed the vertibird with console command, the thing literally spin full speed all over the way from starlight to Concord and hit me on the run... They fixed it patches later, they now just fall around a certain area where the player is, but not beneath the player anymore, neither necessarily on the direction the player is.
i love how you can here it like it knows what its doing i can imagine it on its toes creeping from behind one tree to another before it decides to just explode lol

its far worse in my game as due to mods all factions but the railroad use them and are always in huge fights both on the ground and the air i had a group of 30 full crash in to eachother and explode over an area where i was trying to do a mission for a modded group and it not only broke the quest but killed the quest giver and then due to the after crash explosions ended up crashing my game
@@philipprudek9537 did i say i was pissed about it hell i just had another crash due to one of the dam vertibirds crashing on me and Jake from sims settlements 2 while going from the hostage rescue to the farm up the hill i heard it and then the last thing i saw was it head right into the ground about 3 ft in front of us then crash for me it adds another layer to the game as i have to make more saves than i normally do in games so i dont have hrs to redo

One of three can appear before the Cabot quest with different names, and one that appears during and after always named "Brother Thomas," even if the character was killed before the quest. If I remember correctly all four look pretty similar too.
Something about how the camera cuts back to the guy just to show him dying feels uncomfortably deliberate; even though this was a completely random occurrence.

I rigged the place with tons of plasma mines and they all blew up. Took me so many tries though, I kept in getting blown up before I could run out of there.
I remember my first playtrough of Fallout 4. At around hour 3 or 4 I discovered the radio menu, I then listened to classical music and diamond city radio for 70 hours, and whenever there was a vertibird somewhere around me 99% of the time Ride of the Valkyries started to play, AND MOST OF THE TIMES THE VERTIBIRD JUST END UP EXPLODING.
I had a feeling the Vertibird had something to do with it, but I just laughed out loud, at the bar, alone, because watching the guys limbs fly off in different directions was downright hilarious. 😂😂😂😂
