I don’t know what was more scary, the jump scare or when you completely turned your back to it. Anyone new to the game having trouble with these and deathclaws: 1) crouch and vats 2) stimpaks, jet+psycho, etc. 3) target limbs and crits 4) nuke cores + Gatling laser w/mods and perks Kinda wanna play this again now!
In fallout a Confrontation that would take 5 secs leading in the result of your death can turn into a few min of panicing trying not to die just to die

In my first experience with an Assaultron I followed the sound of gunshots coming from over a hill. As I crested the hill, I witnessed one of these hellish monsters annihilating a Super-Mutant into ash, when it quickly turned it's gaze on me and I said "Oh Shit," and ran away as fast as I could. Then I heard the energy blast as I was evaporated into the reload screen... These things are terrifying at lower levels.
Ahhhh, the classic fallout choke. Opening the pip boy was the equivalent of opening your fridge looking for something you know isn't there. I think we've all been there on fallout when supplies are low.
Reminds me of when I entered a dungeon in Oblivion and I found Umbra... And I was nowhere near ready to fight Umbra... Needless to say I lost about 50 pounds of gear in potions and arrows trying to kill Umbra; and I was rewarded with a high level sword. I ended up eating all my food; drinking every health potion I had, drinking every magika potion; drinking all my stamina potions; using all my poison and using every single arrow I had. It literally boiled down to fighting Umbra with the stock sword you get at the beginning of the game; and I will tell you what... I will never do that low level again. I can't even imagine the horror of running into a Death Klaw at low level... I ran into horrible stuff in Fallout 3 (not New Vegas) as is
I completely lost it when you spun the camera so fast(in the beginning of the video)! That has got to be the most sneaky assaultron that I’ve ever seen! Plus I have never seen anyone move the camera that fast in my entire life. Man you were terrified! lol 😂.
I know that place after that you will need to activate a computer to retrieve the memory of the synth, which you will have to face a legendary assaultron
