    Awesome video as always my friend. Not sure about the shape, but love the fact its got a great range, also no plug-in.

      @InsideChinaAuto  2 года назад +1

      Thanks very much Steve. Yeah, the shape feels a bit anonymous to me but is maybe better in real life. Downside of this setup is you lug around an engine with you all the time just in case, but a full electric version is coming very soon on this one.

  • @LouDeVere

    Thanks for this. Quite like the shape as not keen on the modern sharp angled cars. The interior looks super comfortable. We already have an EV, a BYD Atto 3 BEV. This could be a good way for many people to get into modern technology and help them get rid of the ICE vehicles which are the blight of our lives. As you say, you could easily run around the city in this and never have to use the engine but it's there if absolutely necessary. Thanks again.

      No problem Lou. Glad you liked it even though it was one of my very first (and awful) videos. You can check out the Li Auto videos for much better EREV examples and better videos. It'll be a popular type of drivetrain for a while as a crossover point I think.

    Do you know the consumption of the car after the battery is empty? How many litres per 100kms does it consume?

    • @InsideChinaAuto
      @InsideChinaAuto  2 года назад +1

      I'm informed that with the engine running (remember it only charges the battery, it cannot power the wheels) it uses 9.8 litres per 100km. Generally what happens is that when the battery gets to 20%, the engine will kick in to start topping up the battery.

      @@InsideChinaAuto Sure but not looking to buy a Korean EV with Korean batteries with their track record in EV batteries, phone batteries and combustion engines. If I buy an EV the battery has to be from CATL or BYD, the two leaders at the moment.

      @@blauwzakjecrack Hi Ronald. There's always a couple of features you'll miss in a review, either forgetting or thinking it's not the most important thing. In this case I just forgot. Essentially it'll read your face, know who you are, and then set up the seat and apps how you like them, so if you share the car you don't have to redo all that or press a memory button. These things can sometimes be used to detect if you're getting drowsy too and alert you.
