For those asking, Vampiric Embrace is only high priority when your guild is asking for it. They shouldn’t be asking for it on fights that do not get any value from it. These fights (that get exceptional value from VE) typically start coming in tier 5 and are even more prevalent in tier 6 and beyond.

you can easily apply sw:p earlier to save time - i mean at 15:20 your sw:p is about to expire and you casted mindblast into sw:d , shouldn't you apply sw:p and then rotate another flay into sw:d since sw:d and sw:p are instant casts you try to cast them after a spell with casting time no?

I'd have to say I wouldn't even use Vamp heal in turbo mode as it resets spell cd denying casting after used, slowing your dps potential
Hey, first video I've come across where people see that SPriest doesn't just go all out ham and oom within 15 seconds. Been saying this all throughout Classic and no one seems to understand.

I still wonder about this hit rating thing. When I google they say around 16% which is around 264 hit rating. Are you including 264 required hit rating with the talents? or does the talents reduce the hit rating cap to 79?

wait its better dps to prio Mind Blast and SWD even if SWP isn't up? I thought keeping Vampiric Touch and SWP at as close to 100% uptime would be best.

@@petervdberk1781 Found it, weak Auras has an option for it. Just check the menu point "Symbols", there you can choose all the ability for your class. Will take a few min to set it up nicely, but its perfect. Have a good day

Shadow Affinity (threat reduction) talent worth it for 5 man/kara stuff? Focused Mind (mana cost reduction)?
Not needed as you won't need to worry about threat as much since AoE damage is low so Vamp. Embrace won't be healing that much. Up to you though, nice talent to have. What are you wanting instead? And yes focused mind is mandatory for every type of content for sp

I chose to roll this class as a boosted character and went directly into the Dark Portal and I'm struggling lol. This guide is helpful, but I find myself running out of mana even trying the "eco" mode rotation.
Just do some starting quests and change "boosted" gear, it's very bad on stats.
Hello. Can someone suggest me a class for TBC Classic (although I'm starting from zero) that has a more interactive rotation other than spam Shadowbolt and the one macro Hunter? It seems Priest can be a good option but any other suggestion?
Shadow Priest, enh sham or Feral dps
If you’re starting from 0, keep in mind that while the rotations are simple of mages, hunters, and warlocks, it doesn’t take away from the fact that they could still be fun to play for you. Your single target dps rotation is such a small part of your adventures

Right now I'm trying to decide to start with one of those: Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock or Druid.
Well that’s almost the whole cast haha. Don’t worry that’s what makes it exciting
@@ZGTGaming it is! haha I think I'll start with a Priest since Shadow seems to be good DPS at the first couple tiers and is a good support and also got the possiblity to heal. Then I might try a Mage/Warlock or Feral Druid

Sure, but I don’t know how possible Kara gdkps will be or even mag, gruul for a little while for most guilds
Since it will be 10 man, would be difficult to carry more than 2

What do you think is best race for an alliance priest? Going to play a shadow in TBC but could also switch to holy for raids if my guild needs it
I mean they all have advantages right. Human has the human spirit (increases spirit by 10%) which is great for holy, ok for shadow. Draenei have the 1% spell hit increase which can allow you some additional throughput stats since you’ll need 1% less hit to get hit capped
Edit; Draenei also have symbol of hope, a group wide mana returning channel ( works like a Druids tranquility, but restores mana)
Night elves have starshards which is meh ok
And dwarves have chastise.. meh for raids

Should I use Devouring Plague in raids? With Inner Focus.
Early it’s ok, but mind blast with definitely be better to use with it as you gain more spell power

How's it in pvp? Imagine you're just heavily outclassed by affliction warlock
Good in 2’a with a 2’s with a rogue or mage. Decent in god comp with resto Druid sp frost mage
are shadow priests best partied with healers?
A shadow priest should be partied with a Elemental shaman as a main spot and the side spots go to a rotation of healers or mages. All depends on the guilds composition. But in a raid you would like a ele in your group for totem buffs, that in return will boost your SP and thus give you more mana return on VT.
Now for the less important spots.
If you have say 5 healers in the raid, and 4 of the healers are geared and dont need the extra mana regen throughout a raid encounter, throw the average geared healer, and 2 mages in the shadow priests group.
If you are early on in TBC classic and healers are not geared, go with 1 ele shaman and 3 healers to help the healers gain mana.
Having a ele shaman/3 healers is more efficient than having 4 healers because the shaman totem will boost your VT alot more efficiently.

Why Blizzard made Locks scale so much better then SP is for a me huge ??? They should have changed this in classic TBC because that scaling is INSANE!

They’re pretty much the definition of support class I’d say. Not a bad thing. Part of the reason why their dps is low is because of how crappy vampiric touch is for your individual dps on a shorter fight for example.

@@ZGTGaming It melees its target but it DOES deal shadow damage and will be affected by any debuffs that increase shadow/magic damage taken.
