best druid tbc related video i've seen so far
that really makes my day, thank you
This sets a precedent for how guides ought to be made!
Hey man, that’s the type of stuff that makes this all worth it for me. Thank you for your kind words.
Clean and concise guide, great stuff! I'm definitely set on resto as my main character for tbc, it was my first healer and still my personal favourite.
As someone who only tanks or dps I found this video to be very clear and helpful. Even tempted to try a resto druid during bc. Ty
Just noticed, @6:58 I mistakenly said the cool down of Innervate is 3 minutes - It's 6 minutes. I apologize, my brain was thinking of the Retail CD for some reason. Thanks for the positive feedback on the video so far!
Awesome guide. Short sweet and to the point, excited for TBC!
Very nice guide !!!! The best one I have seen soo far for druids, please keep making content !!!
Just found your channel. Excited to see your next videos abouts healers. Quality information and production so far. I love to watch WillE and Madseasonshow, but I guess I just found a third creator to my list.
Great video. Very helpful as I am leveling a resto Druid as well. Currently level50 and loving it. Can’t wait for tbc!
My pick as well
Awesome vid, dig it. Take my subscribe and yes, I will play a restodruid. I just love my goofy looking tree, who sprays his hots around.
Thank you for this guide, gonna save it as I’m currently levelling as resto, just hit 19
Really helpful for a newly returned Resto Druid. Thank you.
I just hit 70 with my Druid this morning and am excited to go heavy into Resto to become a Tree :D But I am apprehensive because of one of your final points... them being terrible with solo content >< I still have some zones to finish questing in, but I also cant wait to start healing! I mained a Priest for ever so am looking forward to the change :) Thanks for the amazing guide, it helped a heap!
Priest is really the only healer that can do some solo quests without issues. Resto shaman and holy pally are both pretty bad. In terms of solo content I’d rank Priest>> hpala > Resto shaman > rdruid
thank you so much for the guides! i'm a healing lead in my guild and i've never played TBC before, everything is very helpful and I really liked the priest one as well. I'm looking forward to the shaman and paladin guides if you make them, since in classic I mained a holy paladin and would love to see the differences, and shaman is the class i'm going to be switching to with not a ton of experience. keep up the great work dude!
Thank you for watching, I put so much effort into these guides that these comments definitely help keep me going. Shaman Guide will be up in next 24 hours. Paladin Guide, I have research and script done but I'm not 100% sure if there's a ton of people that want to see it. Share it with your friends and guild to help me out if ya would !
@@ZGTGaming oh yeah ive shared them in our discord so hopefully at least a few come and visit :) I'd like a paladin guide since most of the others just dunk on them and that isnt super helpful
@@melissap4888 I'm doing Paladin a little different since my edits take a very long time on these guides (highly scripted, animating the on-screen elements) I will do a talent guide which will be coming tmrw as a teaser for a less edited but just as through overview guide (like these ones, but less careful editing to speed up the content for tbc) the overview will probably be out monday
@@melissap4888 yo melissa heal me baby
@@NiceEvils you got it!
ZGT: "Whether you gonna play as a Tree or not leave a comment."
Meanwhile, me: "I am debating over a Feral Druid and an Elemental Shaman but this guide is really well made.
Here, take a like and my sub."
This really helped me, thank you
An actually good guide.
I really appreciate that!
Magtheridon and High King Malgor, the druid healer maintains 3 lifebloom stacks on 4 tanks. If they can maintain them without being interrupted, that is a huge base of healing that is augmented by spot heals and raid heals from the other healers. The resto druid then does stupidly huge raw healing, as the expense of not being able to spot heal or burst heal at all while they are responsible for 4 tanks. Resto druid can maintain a very significant heal flow for relatively little mana. However, their single target burst healing is more limited. If you just look at the raw heals, they look overpowered, but if resto druids start to fall behind while doing their standard rotation, they have very little they can do to boost significantly.
This was exactly what i've been looking for. Thank you! Can we get guides for other healers aswell?
Holy priest inc
Hey, what is your add on set up for the raid to enable the tracking of Lifebloom? thanks for the vid.
Lovin' tree healz
Love the video, ty for this
I do not know if someone has pointed out but Innervate is 6 min not 3 as mentioned.
2:44 Lifebloom: .. "This effect can stack up to 600 times on the same target" god i wish.
Druids are solid healers during progress as they bring stability to the raid. They can even be #1 in a hand full of fights that favor hots.
They run out of steam once the progress is over and raids are setting the comps for more speed.
That's when they are the first healer to get benched as they don't bring the same (dps)support as other healers (BL, totems, blessings, aura..)
Great guide! Can I ask which addons you're using for raiding? ^w^
I don't think know what developer is making which addons since the beta is still in progress
Great video! I am trying to decide between a feral tank or resto druid. One of my big concerns is being self sufficient with solo play. I know feral is great for this but what is the best way for resto to play solo play/grind?
Unfortunately in your raid optimized tree of life build, you’re pretty limited in solo play/grinding. You can always respec in between raids, but it’s expensive. There are some hybrid resto builds that are better in solo play, but they require you to sacrifice some pretty important talents.
Resto druids have the ability to heal with zero concern about pushback. Versus melee only mobs, you starfire, root, dot dot, starfire root. Versus CC immune mobs, it is a dot dot, hot, melee, refresh dots. I call it heal tanking. You don't die, you generally take longer to kill mobs, but between your high spirit and innervate, you don't have much down time either. Something you can always do is use up your mana and CDs, then fly up and afk doing other stuff. In contested areas, there are classes that can outrange you, but few have a spammable instant damage attack, so you have tools to reliably get tags.
Been playing as restokin for a bit, not having swiftmend leaves me little options for OH SHIT moments. I can Natures swiftness + HT but when that's on cooldown... yah. I really don't like the idea that i'd have to go deep resto and lose the ability to comfortably quest on my own. Any tips?
Would being deep resto but having feral damage-focused gear set make solo questing bearable?
i personally went balance to 70 then respec resto once im done most of my questing on the toon. in wrath it wont be a big deal because we will be able to dual spec when that releases
in classic druid is top healer. in vanilla was the stoneage.
What is the addon for decurse in 2:04? Thank you
Can’t wait to groot shit up
Nice video man! 1 Question there! Is there possible for a resto druid to Farm efficient all over TBC? ( Dailies and all that) ?
Not that I know of, just go one target at a time, use entangling roots (since you suffer from full spell pushback on all balance spells as resto ) apply insect swarm and spam wrath
Also things will get easier as you collect off spec pieces from raid with more spell damage
@@ZGTGaming and what about tank? It's gonna be easier right? I mean if I go tank. Feral will smash them all
Mmm well if you respec it’s no problem as all but he is asking about resto man
@@ZGTGaming I mean if i go Tank from the very beginning :)
In the guild reunion was decided that i am a resto dru in the static. But i never tried to heal seriously. It was my twink for professions... Thanks to you i probably will be a fine resto
You'll do great let me know if you have questions
Definitely playing resto Druid I’m on Atiesh horde if anyone wants to group up
Join this guys group
@@ZGTGaming your guide has helped me become a great healer!!
resto druid flexibilty is gg. here is my comment.
stuck between resto druid and holy pally
Priest, pal and sham individual vids coming shortly
Hey,
What is the Name of your ui?
what UI do u use
- Downranking - are resto druids still downranking spells? If yes, which ones and which ranks? (And why) 👌🏼
no downranking in my experience.
Been toying with downranked regrowth (rank 5) for spot healing that doesn't over ride max level regrowth, it's a nice ~1-2k heal with a shorter cast than healing touch.
Does tranquility only heal 5 people in a 25 man raid?
Just your group
@@ZGTGaming dang.. that is so bad then :(
No it’s really nice to have! Think about 5 and 10 man content and early on especially.
I say “early on” a lot because once there’s 7 or 8 healers in a solid raid guild and you all have decent gear, it’s becomes very much “stay in your lane” type of thing. Shamans and CoH priests should have group healing covered so you won’t need to worry much about tranq usage
aldor or scryer for resto druid?
Aldor 100%; best shoulder enchant for us
Paladin holy guide please!
I've been looking for holy paladin videos for a while and there definitely aren't as many as for other classes. I think I understand why, but c'mon please!
@@jonathanwynne6925 ??
@@davidpro6 It seems like the general consensus is that Holy Paladins spam heal a tank, so there's just not as much to talk about and people find it less interesting. Even so, I'm probably playing it and I'd like to see some good guides.
@@jonathanwynne6925 i agree with you, but to be honest, i really think that paladin holy specially in pvp has so much high cielling cap and so many things to learn about to play it very good. I still havent seen a good guide about holy pal and would be great to see one! About time i think hehe
Druids were good healers in vanilla classic and also will be even better healers in TBC due to tree form.
Also you can PVP with a resto druid, you can't PVP with holy pally/holy priest/resto shaman especially in 2v2 arenas
Druid all the way, also not going to be using my innernate on any healer but myself
Shamans are fine and all, but i'd rather have a healer who's good in PvE and also in PVP without having to play 1 or 2 niche comps.
Ehh I mean then you’re only talking about priests and Druids. MLS, Shadow play are both quite viable al around wouldn’t call them niche, especially mls
Comment.
I chose Tree bruh
