Although this isn't Alice, I'd say, at least from my viewpoint, that back then "we" knew this was more than talent before the rest of the world even knew who they were.
For sure. Kinney’s groove is unique to him. Mike is great too but frankly doesn’t really add a unique sound to the band. But Kinney and Jerry have a unique groove that makes that AIC sound, even without vocals.
This is a fun song to sing, like Again, Them Bones, Layne and Jerry always had a good meld with vocals, but as much as I love the complicated ones, I just leave that to Layne and Will. Thank you Jerry AIC is one of a kind.
I haven't seen a band that looks and sounds this good at the same time in a while. The whole thing is spot on the harmonies, the groove, the look, the presentation, the vibe. Everything is just so solid
You should see the original singer who died sing this then, Layne staley. I recommend you to watch this song but the version of the set they did for the movie called singles
I like many folks on here still a huge AIC fan and will always be one. Layne was an amazing voice and will never be outdone there is so much that could be said about the man without a doubt. On a different note I would like to believe that he has got to be smiling seeing his fans and his friend Jerry still rocking out to their masterpiece and doing what they love. It’s good to see Jerry Cantrell still laying it down and sounding amazing. 🤘🤘 AIC for eternity.
Jerry needs to get that singer guitar player from Canada, I seen that guy play Them Bones and I'm telling ya it gave everyone the chills he was that good. I'm going to try and find the video recording I have and send it to these guys somehow
@@wedgemoose1 absolutely! I've seen hundreds and hundreds of shows at lupo's, The met Cafe, The strand, club baby head etc.... I wish I knew about the show I would have went. Was this just a Jerry Cantrell thing?
Who would've thought that the songs don't feel or sound the same without all original members playing them? Mind-blowing breakthrough you had there! You should publish a book.
@Ronaldo Leoni Duvall sings for Alice in Chains. Technically this is Jerry's solo tour not AIC so he as a completely different lineup of musicians with him here
does William Duval even play with Jerry anymore I feel like I never see them together anymore. I mean I also follow under the category of Alice In Chains fan where Jerry could have fronted Alice by himself.
This is technically his solo tour, so there's a completely different lineup of musicians with him here. When he has Duvall with him, that's technically Alice in Chains along with original drummer Sean Kinney and bassist Mike Inez. I saw AIC this past October. And I agree Jerry is the heart and soul of Alice
Greg only sings for Jerry on his solo tour where he has a completely different lineup of musicians than the members of today's AIC (Jerry, Sean, Mike, and Will)
Let's see your upload bro, exactly pretty good effort. As good as Layne was he's gone simple as there's unfortunately no coming back and you can't slate every other fuckers efforts.
Long live the legend Jerry Cantrell!
Amen!
We'll never forget Layne, but sometimes it's easy for people to forget how talented are AiC as a whole...
I've never had a problem remembering that . Not one bit.
Jerry is only member of AIC in this band, crazy talent non the less!
Jerry solidified his working horse status on his own... no apologies.

Layne can never be replaced....
R.I.P layne staley long live jerry cantrell.
Couldn't imagine being in a crowd singing along perfectly to a song I've probably played 100 times in the last 2 months alone
Greg is so good and Jerry as always is a legend
Grande Jerry Cantrell

I saw A i C open up for Van Halen.
That was when they were touring for Facelift.
@@PedroSilva-yv3oo I'd be surprised if OP hasn't heard the original version before
God I miss Layne
Only one Layne..
But God bless them for keeping legacy going...IF I WOULD COULD YOU? SCREAMING IT WITH AUDIENCE!
This is too sick! Quite a moment captured here 🔥
Cantrell is not playing 100 tones in a second, but he woves a tight and tense sound carpet. Looks easier than it is...
Reason his music is special since 1990 ....Legend
❤omg...amazing Jerry Cantrel❤
Awesome Job recording!!!! So exciting to see a great live performance! Thank you!

Thank YOU...
Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱🤝
demasiado bueno, una de mis bandas preferidas
J.C.!! Aways a pleasure! Thanks!!!!
This song rocks.👍
All the Will haters out there (I know you're in these comments). You have to admit he's a step up on Greg with the old stuff.

Omg I was there! Thank you so much for posting!❤
🥰😍
Me too. It was awesome
Where in Providence?

Oh god bless that I lived through the days where phones and filming were not a thing a gigs just everyone in the moment. Still epic this though
I get it…but fuck, nobody will ever do any OG chains songs any Justice. Layne was the best. RIP Angry Angel!
You are right my friend...but they keep Layne's legacy going...I will never get tired of hearing the originals with Layne! ✌
I’m loving it either way!
Eu amo ❤
Layne was not only a vocalist singer he was one the greatest lyricist and he is terribly missed by me one of AIC'S greatest fans 🎤🎼🎸🥁‼️‼️
Jerry wrote most the hit songs lyrics but I personally like Laynes lyrics better. I was surprised Jerry wrote Down in a Hole.
Jerry wrote most of the lyrics
@@annlowry9841 just a little over half of the lyrics if you consider that most.
Thanks for vidéo i love it
Alice and Chains should have a plan of action and agenda to start preproduction for the new album with a reasonable budget!
Lendaaaaa ❤❤❤❤❤
I’m not familiar with who these other band members are but Jerry is spot on as usual!
about f..kin time !! we cd have tour'ed with theses awsome guys !! I LOVE ALICE IC XXX
Awesome so nice recording
This was my birthday
Jerry is awesome. But these songs aren't the same without Layne.
I am finally adjusting to this fact. Though we all even out in the end! Different. Love you Jerry
You nailed it
Who would've thought that the songs don't feel or sound the same without all original members playing them? Mind-blowing breakthrough you had there! You should publish a book.
Ur right, but at the same time he was the secondary voice for the group and this song , so let’s enjoy
Layne purist here your right @d.a.l782mo ago it’s not the same without layne Thomas Staley rip layne ☮️
Sick as fuck!
Feels n sounds so much like Layne is there ,, because of those that will never let his life n spirit die
I was up outta my seat on this one.
Love this so much!
Party on little Rhody my beautiful home state ❤️
Alice in chains is so underrated. RIP Layne🤍🕊️
Only Layne Staley can cause a song to be sung louder by the crowd than the band itself!!! Think people love this song or what!!
I saw them in Charleston March 8th…. Fkn Rockin 🔥
Jerry Rocks on!!!!!
💘❤🔥💘
Love this band, listen to them a lot. Any Pa. Concerts coming???
the fact i missed this show.... :(
If I can something... for me... Cantrell is AIC. Then and now.
Layne Staley had that voice tho
Saw them with my Son a month ago. He is hooked.
👍
Can't hear it when a thousand people are screeching out the song.
Who is the singer? He had great passion for the song. Loved his showmanship. Love that everyone was singing it! Such an iconic song
Singer's name is Greg Puciato. Such an awesome experience!🤘
True legend.
Wish it were Layne up there singing
AIC revisted band. A show of the nostalgy and varieté, jaja
😍💭
Jerry's still a sexy mofo!!
#laynestayle 🕯️✝️🤍 ... 🇦🇷

I miss Layne so much. This band should have died long time ago. I respect Jerry but, no!
This is Herry on a solo tour. To support his solo album Brighten.
Hahaha get a LIFE!
Layne would have enjoyed his fifties. Hell, I am.Even with Joe Biden f'n up what's left of America!
Sorry not doing it for me. Saw AIC in September sounded better imo
Jerry is king.., but no Laney no party… sorry… btw…singer thinks he’s rapping or what?… this is not linkin park or limp bizkit….
