Hope they’ve found peace where they’re at. RIP legends, we’ll always remember you
I know about 10 alcoholics that don't think they are and never would call themselves one. Huge respect to admit and say that Jerry!
It warms my heart to see their colleagues talking good things about Chris and Chester. May they truly rest in peace
Not only can you get through substance abuse to sobriety, but you can thrive and love life again!! I have, and I was bad. The most important ingredient to helping someone: Love. And support. Let them know it's going to be OK. You'll have so much to look forward to. It's just darkest before the dawn.
My Mom survived a meth/opioid addiction. She is FLOURISHING 💖PRAYING for all addicts🙏🙏🙏it can be done!!
The image of Jerry in a rumpled suit looking dejectedly downward at Chris' funeral is not one I'll easily forget.
They are such amazing human beings....wow....humble, sincere....gems!!!
Chris, Chester, Scotland, and so many others including Jerry are a huge part of my recovery. My state of mind. My love for music just because they spoke to my heart through their talent. Their words. And their talent. A true poet is someone who can to check someone else's soul just with their words. They are all so missed. And they are all true poets.
what can I say...Jerry Cantrell (and Mike Inez) is an American classic!!
Jerry is such a cool dude man…
Keep going Jerry - we need you!
This is one quality always loved about Cantrell! He steps up all the time to help benefit charities! Amazing Man and Amazing Band- Alice In Chains Rocks!
Cantrell got a hearty gutteral laugh....so raw and honest....just like his music......ive been a fan since the beginning.....but thats a bonus!.....
Both these guys are great guys. I spoke with Mike once and he was the best interview I've ever done. So open, friendly and truly funny!
Jerry and Mike are good guys, they know how hard it is when you lose someone you love to depression and addiction. Great to know they are done this for Chris and Chester,😊
Inez had some big shoes to fill, but his contribution exceeded everyone’s expectations. “I Stay Away” is AiC’s magnum opus!
And, Inez’s riffs on (Ozzy’s) “No More Tears” is off the charts!
One of the sweetest guys I have ever met...or smoked out with!
So many greats would still be here if they'd just danced with ganja instead of the dark stuff.
Thank you for posting this. God bless you. Fresh wounds need this type of healing.
Unlimited respect for Jerry. Fucking love the guy!
Always good to see Jerry, Mike and Sean.
Greatest musician of the last 30 years and an amazing person.
Straight facts, man is one of the greatest songwriters to ever live. Fuckin genius.
Mike Inez and Jerry Cantrell, All the respect for you and everything you are doing for Music and future generations of music to come.
Peace&Respect and Love, Shelley Anne
Jerry Cantrell is an amazing person, not cool to disrespect him at all!!!!!
I cant imagine disrespecting a Man like Jerry. Wish there were more of him
You guys are super cool for doing this I know you've been through a lot and I will pray for you and your families. Peace
I'm so sorry about Chris and Chester. I just recently got portraits of Chris and Layne Staley on my leg. Great musicians both. Love you Jerry!!!!!!!💋💋💋💋
Genile Bankai Elric would love to see the portraits. What pic of Chris did you get? I'm still heartbroken over Chris, brutal.
bellarose6501 I almost crashed my car when I heard it on the radio the day after it happened. I found the pic I used in Pinterest. I wanted something that captured him singing and some of that insanely beautiful hair he had. It really turned out amazing. After it is all healed, I plan to go and put flowers on his marker at the cemetery in Hollywood.
Genile Bankai Elric I'm getting Kurt and Chris on my arm in November. I'd love to see what your pieces look like.
Alicia Bryanna message me and I will give you my kik code. I will send you pics! They are done for the most part, just need some highlights👍
Jerry its so wanderfull
all these guys and their music spoke to me when times are bad when you are alone and there is no one to call and your phone doesn't ring and you start to get some real bad thoughts to put the music on would be enough to keep me from going over the edge
I'm glad that Jerry grew his hair out again. The short hair didn't work for him. That long blonde hair is one of his trademarks
Celtichammer he changes it up still
that’s honestly the one thing that u took out of this video
Honestly, What the fuck mate.
useless comment.
Bruh he just made a comment about his hair can y'all chill?
I love you guys so much...Thank you for being so generous, and for having integrity in a world full of greedy bastards and beautiful, suffering, artists and empaths, many of whom can't resist the call of the next life, because this one is so broken.
Jerry is the best.
God, I can only imagine the amount of grief they were feeling while taking about it. I'm impressed they kept it together.
I can't imagine how he feels.
I still in shock. R.I.P wherever you are, Chris. Miss you.
I saw AiC in Razzmatazz a couple of years ago and Jerry gave me his plectrum. Unforgeteable night
