@@wolfpackflt670 yeah I felt that too. I thought he was just a more badass but he had wayyyyy more emotion than anyone else did and it didnt seem like he pretended to have his emotion ( before growing a heart again like the others did)
This is becoming a series that you want to keep replaying the other games just to see all the intial hints of the bigger picture. But something I wanted to fully understand, is he even a nobody or he just pretended to be one?
Jago Nexus I would think he just pretended to be a nobody to be in Xehanort’s inner circle and keep a close eye on him using No Name. And remember, Luxu for the most part following KH2 acted like he knew more than he was leading on.

If you think about it, terra kind of has a anakin skywalker story. He tried to get the balances in check while battling the fears of the dark power within him and eventually succumbs to it

Seeing this Braig, and Lea, as a Nobody, still able to using fire stuff at the end of DDD,
I always think they always have that kind of power, but rather not to use it, or some of them has it not strong enough to be manifested like when they was a nobody ...
But than Ienzo's statement in KH3, it was really contradicts the fact that Braig and Lea was using it ... None of these make sense to me ...

@@toparky2470 If we assume Luxu begins 'new lives' by possessing people the way Xehanort does, then that would still mean Braig would've been Luxu by then. The secret reports state that Braig's exact plan was to act dumb and greedy for the opportunity to have his own keyblade. Since Braig does exactly that, lusting after Terra's keyblade, it's safe to assume that Luxu was already Braig. But only IF he actually possesses anyone. He might really just be reborn multiple times through some kind of plot device that wasn't introduced yet.
Yuju slips a lot .ω. I think it possession since the foretellers say he looks different, and he says he new body, in the reports he also says he lived lifetimes.
Most likely possessed braig after handing down no name to Xehanort and shortly before the events of BBS.

John Santos Except that he wasn't, he had affinity with darkness, just like Riku has. But Xehanort was kinda right, Eraqus was too obsessed with light, to the point of wanting to straight up murder Ventus to prevent the X-Blade to be forged and preserve the light.

The sarcasm in this scene is palpable knowing what we know now
That stroke of midnight keyblade is so beautiful
This fight is all about patience and timing. That's all. The thing that tends to trip me up is always the massive energy arrow he fires, where he starts following you around the arena at a 360⁰ angle. Other than that, deflecting his arrows is effective as well. Easily the most frustrating early boss though.
Haven't beaten him. But I'm gonna keep up appearances, and grind for experience to see if that makes a difference. Might be wise to swap out a few attacks with potions too.
Update: Managed to beat him and completed Terra's story.

Kind of interesting how Braig had almost always been on about getting a Keyblade. He wanted one here, he wanted one during his post-battle speech in KH3, and then there was that wonderful epilogue. Foreshadowing at its finest, really.
To think he was like a secret mastermind of it's own like Xemnas and Xehanort, And yet above all...
Technically he has a keyblade but after giving up Bragi's body he most likely lost that one

I remember finding it real odd how Braig was able to still teleport and pull off these supernatural moves in BBS, since he is not a Nobody yet. But lel, with KH3 reveal, makes sense.
Magic is commonplace enough in KH that (Humanoid) Nobody-powers don't really stand out as much, and recompleted Lea still had his Fire abilities even before manifesting a Keyblade.
@@zaqareemalcolm while it’s true that magic exists in KH that’s the subtle cover story for Luxu. Compare the other apprentices and notice they didn’t have unique powers when they were humans. Contrast that with Braig.

I think that they are from Braig. The theory says that Luxu possessed him after Terra makes him lose the eye

Yah likely the brown eyes are Braig’s natural eye color
Yellow eyes are result of being too immersed in darkness, a step away from becoming a Heartless
Not unlike Sith Eyes in Star Wars
Xehanort’s natural eye color is gray, it became yellow when he embraced darkness and became a master at it
Braig became yellow for same reason but also could as result of being Xehanort’s first vessel
Feel bad for Braig. Lost and eye to the darkness and was scarred by it, and Master Xehanort didn't do anything to heal him. I mean, he is going to be your vessel. Don't you want it in top shape?

Darkness wounds are like cursed wounds they can’t heal fully leaving behind scars
That’s the case of Master Eraqus as Xehanort scarred him twice, and yet despite being a Master, Eraqus couldn’t heal himself
Braig still served his purpose all things considered
I think the title of the video should be, "Mysterious Mocking Man Boss Fight", which is more fitting considering that Braig has never actually introduced himself proper. Heck, he never even introduced himself as "Xigbar" to Sora either.
And for the final clincher, *NEITHER* of those names were his real name.

Frosty Cane Very true, but Xehanort’s whole thing was he wanted to balance out the worlds by filling them with darkness because he felt there was too much light. So you’re both right; he was always been about balance, but he has also favored the darkness. In KH3 he claimed that he wanted to balance out the worlds in the light category though which made no sense.

@@ManusiaKagakRusuh Nah, Terra is still relevant. Since the next saga is about everyone finding Sora, Terra will have a game entry dedicated to him, as well as Aqua and Ven since they are one of the search team.
P.S: Ven's connection to the villains of the new saga will definitely bring him and Aqua into the fray. So no, he won't be sidelined just yet.

This is pretty much the duel of anakin and Count Dooku in Revenge of the Sith, but without Obi-Wan. Xehanort is Palpatine here. Instead of killing Braig, Terra just scars him with Dark Volley. For keyblade master standards, it's almost as bad.

There is no Reflect in this game.
Terra may not have Reflect, but he can Guard. That can be used to bounce back his shots and dish out a lot of hurt.

@@frostycane5134 That's when you run. What I basically did was used Ragnarok on him and when my Focus was running dry, I guarded his shots until I got my Focus back up, then blasted him again with Ragnarok.

I think the Re:Mind version of The 13th Dilemma would kinda fit here.
The *only* thing that I agree with Xehanort on is that Light and Darkness(at least in the more literal senses they're taken to here) are forces that should be held in bakance.
I mean, feel that's true in general... but we can't do even a hundredth of the magical bullshit that KH lets happen.
If Light and Darkness mean to be exist in balance ... does that mean murderer and rapist has the right to exist like how police and doctor does ? ...
Darkness is the abscene of light, just death is the abscene of life.
In the beginning, darkness is best scene as a void of life, formless, chaotic. Then light came, and there was structure and order
