I use a nikon d40, yes d40, 6 mp, with a nikkor 18-200 lens. I barely print.
It produces much better photos then my pixel 8 pro. The pixel cant compete in my opinion and i doubt any smartphone cam can.
I would agree it's a skill and a device won't make people better.

All praise the Algorithm 🙏

On an old camera, just add an external flash and a 50mm f1.8, and everything looks professional. That's why DSLR cameras will always beat cell phones.
True, I love camera. But I don't love smartphones. Cameras have a single purpose that brings determination and focus. Smartphones have great cameras but do not offer focus and determination. Rather distraction and complacency 🤣
For a 10 year old device canon held up really well
I'm going with the phone, great review.
Thank you for watching sir. Appreciate it 🙏🙏
I have to disagree. The Canon creates an older TV rerun looking video and same with the pictures that just look outdated. I'm no photographer, it's my opinion. It's a different image for a different generation. When you were outside, your skin looked green I'd have to edit the tint. I started buying the pixels when the 7 pro came out and then changed to the 8 pro. I've been looking for a regular still camera cause I miss the old days when gadgets were seperate, but I think I'll learn more about pixel camera phone accessories, it's manual settings, apps, etc. I won't have to spend a whole lot that way. I don't know much about photography but I've been learning a lot in photoshop and have become interested because of the Pixel 7pro and 8 pros camera. Rrecently of 1000s of pictures r voted on, people prefered the the Pixel 6 pros photos over all the other cell phones including the 8 pro and they didn't know what phone took the pics.
I won't be surprised if Google cut you a check to make this video
Google if your watching, pay up ya dogs. Stop screwing small RUclipsrs in the pooch 🖕🖕🖕
Less video rendering more filmic
Holy crap the brightness at the start, how much overexposure are phone makers killing us with?
The one thing I always want to know when people do these camera comparisons, which one was closest to the actual scene, not the shit that you post to instagram.
The section at 7:17 really nails the phone, only advantage a phone has is that it is automatic, very shallow learning curve.
So true its always so heavily over sharpened, over brightened and over saturated in all smart phones. Thanks for watching its super appreciated.
Thank you for the great review
I have pixel 6 pro
And I am wondering about the cheapest camera intended for the personal pic or photographs ?
Saw a recent vote where people prefered the 6 pros camera shots over all the other phones including the 8 pro's photos when they didn't know what camera took the photo.
What camera is this ?
I think they both had good and bad shots. The pixel sometimes liked like you were in from of a green screen. Would have liked you to manual set up the pixel like the canon 9:12
Hey mate, thanks for watching. I agree they are both good in their own right. Kinda cool to see the 10 year old camera keep pace with the modern phone
you could prob count on 1 hand the % of owners that even know to press the screen to set a focus point let alone ISO's, certainly wouldn't need to take off your socks.
Everyone thinks they need a $2k phone because they aren't just a normal person, they a power user and needs all the megapickels and camera's they can get to post blurry instagram pictures of their overpriced meal.
