@@jeffevans4668 I'm just saying people should calm down their expectations if you think every photos taken with this phone will look like his. It's good idea to also check the photo samples from a phone reviewer and not pro photographer to get an idea of how most people photos will look like. Nothing wrong with photo editing and I'm not calling anyone out. Chill.

I don´t agree with the assessment that the zoom photos looked great. Yes, the bokeh was good. But overall the phtos were lacking sharpnessy detail and clarity on the zoom lenses. This is to expect due to the zoom lens not being as good as a prime. Also the sensor is not up to the competition.

I dont understand, photography is easy, get the right backdrop and follow your instincts on the settings , Sony cameras are good by default.
@@NoName-bb2pu that very setting needs to be adjust accordingly, otherwise the result pretty much like other regular phone. its hardware and software really differs it from other phone

This Video blew my mind on how good the Sony actually is in the hands of someone who understands photography. Im amazed at the Bokeh, absolutely stunning how they do it, genuinely best on the market as of now.

That's exactly what we need, just real life experience and not "reviewer" talking over and over again about specs, something we can easily read on Sony website. Unfortunately, not having a real ultrawide lens is a deal break for me. 16mm isn't wide enough for the vertical era. Otherwise, I'd try this phone.
How wide would be wide enough?
@@ronjatter at least 13mm IMHO. Remember that when you’re filming, it’s not 13mm anymore as there’s EIS applied which crops in, plus the 16:9/9:16 obvious crop.

Don't know why they are not launching them in India I'm an S23ultra ultra user and I loved s series but if sony starts launching it in India it will surely cut of the competition and will be ahead of apple and samsung for sure
Hi, another viewer from India.
For one, after sales service is a big point in India. Second, developing proper trade channels and investing into marketing - both offline and online - also matters in the smartphone business. Third, for high ticket items like Sony’s products, there has to be finance options that will make sense for Indian customers.
Whether Sony is interested in, or has the capabilities to do that in India is another matter.
I also want them in India. Samsung and apple are getting boring. 😑

Totally loved it but I'm a bit sad since it has no more 4k display but fhd display in itself isn't bad as well. What I'm most amazed about is the Bokeh mode, used to be only on the 48mm now with it available on both it and the 85-170 telephoto is amazing man, how the heck can it just make the fall off so natural, like a pocketable full frame.

You are the one who unleashed the true potential of Xperia phone. I'm planning to upgrade this round from xperia 1 IV to 1 VI. Telephotos zoom with macro feature is really useful for my aquarium plants, fish, shrimps photoshoot.. also the bokeh is so natural this round since 5 V. Although there is some decrement in my view, but still worth for the upgrade

man, I have an Xperia 1 V and it does great shots in stills and videos but to be honest the VI is another level and i'm really blown away.. all the stills and videos looks FANTASTIC!
it's just a software upgrade, we could get the same quality and the 48mp mode if we manage to break the VI camera apks security and make it work on the V. You'd get an indiscernible difference then.
