My head cannon is that Beerus was so removed from his job (sleeping etc.) that sometime after Elder Kai, a Supreme Kai decided to compensate by raising up 4 subordinates and taking the title Grand Supreme Kai. But because the other universes' GoDs were much more directly involved in running their realms, this arrangement was unique to U7.

Buu origins still is mystery.. but I can see it happen. But I think one the original God of Destruction (universe 7) was the one who made buu to help him/her to keep the universe in balence. Of course I think whoever made buu or whatever made buu knew that Buu wasn't going to listen to anybody. Bibidi had hard time controlling buu even when he woke buu up and tried to control him with his magic.

I think a kais strength is based on his wisdom as opposed to his strength. While the god of destruction's is vice versa. Anyone agree ?
I don't think so, Zamasu (who legit thinks genocide is the answer to peace) is 100s of times stronger than Shin (who as useless as might be actually put trust in people and didn't think of mortals as filthy animals that should be wiped from existance)

Universe 1 Kaioshin appears to be really wise, and may actually be pretty powerful. He has the most speaking lines of any Kai.
I mean, Zamasu had to sneak Gowasu like a bitch, and he had to use Goku’s body in one timeline
Universe 4 Kai looks like he can kick some serious ass
In u7 south kaioshin was the strongest, followed by dai kaioshin, than west kaioshin, north and lastly east kaioshin aka shin. Zamasu technically doesn't count since he wasn't a full kaioshin. But it definitely appeared that he was a shinjin of the golden variety. Indicating he indeed was always destined to be a kaioshin. W/that said he was very strong for a kaioshin.
Dai kaioshin actually had the best attack versus buu. But shin said south kai was the strongest. Contradiction but very interesting.
What about Kuboto Kai?
Kibito Kai (fused) no question. Other than that we're just looking on how strong the kais look.
Depending on if you use the Kai's from before Buu there's three choices, but they're all from Universe 7. Post-Buu Shin is the strongest(Zamasu doesn't count since he's only an apprentice or from another timeline but if he did the his Future and Merged would be strongest) but pre Buu its either the South supreme or Grand Supreme
The Kaioshin of Universe 1 has had a lot of lines and focus, despite not really being part of the actual plot. I think they could be building him for a later arc?

Think of this, King Kai met Beerus 327 years ago and Shin didn't even know who Beerus was, which makes him much younger than King Kai
If King Kai was strong enough to know and teach Goku, Kaoiken and Genki dama then imagine how strong Shin would be in that amount of time
Plus, He never had to train given the fact they need not destroy.
Just think if Shin trained for millions of years like Beerus did...then maybe???

Pell works out in order to get stronger, believing that strength is the most important aspect, thus being the fittest out of the currently active Supreme Kais.

Design wise, I like Universe 1 Supreme Kai the most. His personality is also likable for me. He seems a bit arrogant though, but not beyond the line.

The manga makes them seem pretty much equal. They all get knocked out by Rumussi’s scream. However the anime made the U1 Kaioshin, Anat, seem as though he knew about Ultra Instinct. Makes me wonder if he is possibly a stronger/more skilled fighter among the Kaioshin.

All alive Supreme Kai: Zamasu excluded; I would say Shin. He is the only Kai we have any feats or power scaling from. Everything else is pure speculation.

Shin is supposed to be young for a Kaioshin, so I assume he is one of the weaker ones.
U6's seems to be a parallel to Dai Kaioshin so I would assume much like Fat Buu/the dead U7 one he is probably powerful at his core, but not a fighter by nature.
The rest is up in the air really. The U3 one favors intelligence to strength so he's probably weaker too.

The Second Universe's Supreme Kai is all about love.
The Eighth Universe's Supreme Kai doesn't really look like a fighter, the Eleventh Universe's one would fit better.
Well after thinking about it and the current manga arc perhaps the reason why the supreme kai tree hasn't made fruit to replace the ones killed my Buu is because they weren't killed they were absorbed. As long as fat buu exists technically 4 of the 5 supreme kais are technically still around as part of fat buu.

I feel like the Supreme kai from Arack's universe because he seems very knowledgeable. He knew about ultra instinct in good detail whereas shin never even heard of it. I think shin is one of the weakest.

The lower kais govern other world. Supreme kais exist beyond that.

Fair point. But don't think of it like a business. It's more like military/army. The higher ups have a higher authority and aren't governed by the same rules of the lower kais, since they are above it. The lower kais are also not even allowed to set foot on the kaioshin planet, because of the difference in class (that includes grand kai). Indicating they really have little to do w/each other, and the levels/roles are massively different. So I'm guessing if lower kais are like lieutenant's, supreme kais are like the president.
Gowasu would be pretty strong zamuse has be pretty strong he kept up with Goku for little bit he's not equal in no way but he wasn't just shit on by him and gowasu was training him still so he has be pretty strong and maybe universe 11 being pretty strong he's very confident and not very threat by most people and he has have something backing that up

Why did Universe 7 have 5 Supreme Kai’s when all the others had 1?
Considering Zamasu had to resort to a Sneak attack and Poison to kill Gowasu the first time, I'd say that he might actually be Stronger then Zamasu. Who is at the vgery leas SSJ level as Goku went 2 against him.
As an individual, Grand Supreme Kai is the strongest. But as fusion, Fused Zamasu is the strongest. South Supreme Kai is the physically strongest
I think it could be Universe 2 as he trains or Shin as he has fought Majin Buu while others are controlling, weak and couldn’t hurt a fly or are just busy on there jobs

I read somewhere the universe 2 kaioshin is like an upgrade of south kaioshin, he seems to be all about strength and being physically fit, my money's on him being the strongest or at least physically strongest and perhaps best fighter

I, too, think it's him because he lives in Universe 1, The SUPREME Universe, so that means he's probably the most superior and wise since he’s always doing his job in keeping the mortal level up, and he was the only Supreme Kai interested in Goku's fight which could mean he is interested in battles... what’s that have to do with being strong? Well, he probably fights opponents as a hobby back on his homeworld in Universe 1, maybe he even trains with Iwne.
I also think Universe 12's Supreme Kai might be strong or as strong as Universe 1’s Kai too because he lives in the Ultimate Universe, which is sounds like it’s a universe with the strongest mortals and a hardcore environment due its name.
I think the top four universes have to have the strongest Supreme Kais because they’re always doing their job and keeping the mortal levels above 7, but having a high mortal level doesn’t mean strongest mortals or gods, it just means the universe is extremely taken care of and trillions of beings are kept going, but I assume the top 4 are very intelligent creators and take care of their universes.
I wouldn't mind ranking the strongest supreme kais right now, but this is just my assumption:
*1. Universe 1 Supreme Kai - Anat*
*2. Universe 12 Supreme Kai - Ugg*
*3. Universe 8 Supreme Kai - Ill*

I think it would be neat if the strength of the Supreme Kai always directly scaled with their universes power level. The higher the power rating of the universe, the stronger the Supreme Kai got.

I think universe 11's kaioshin, Kai is the strongest going off with how powerful his universe is.
Uni 6 appears to have a fiery passion for battle so I would suspect he's been in those kinds of situations. Followed by 9, he must have had to get out of some terrible situation being that crooked. Either that or Uni 9 is incredibly weak. Uni 10 looks passed his prime but age hasn't been that much of a dictate factor in dragonball. We've only seen him when he was "Caught off guard" while Olimar Kai looks like one of those character who has a ugly OP transformation. I'd say Uni 6.

I love Supreme Kai Shin. He is soooo cute! His manners and demeanor is so endearing! Add to that the fact that he is also a god being! I love guys of dragon ball like him as well as Whis and the Daishinkan. Even though Shin and Daishinkan are just kid-looking, they appeal to me so much!!! Their age, power/capabilites, and ethical character combined are what I think makes me sexually attracted to them. Lol. PS. I am a fan girl. 😂

there are move then one kia in universe 6 check the first tournament when zeno first appeared. shin became the top kia of universe 7 because the rest got adsorbed/died. so the line up or kais you have are the top kais of each universe
