Yea, the canon doesn't give us much to work with. however, if you're willing to step outside of the canon and take a leap of faith, I think you find the cell jr's have a shitload of potential. they're incredibly good characters in the videogames, they have access to an awesome move list, and if they have even half of the dna in them that cell has i'd say they have an almost unlimited potential.
freeza was NOT a good fighter.
he constantly made tactical errors and has a shit fighting stance.
he is STRONG.
not a good FIGHTER.
Edit: even now in super, he continues to fight like an absolute scrub, relying only on his overwelming power

He would most likely defeat him as Frieza knows what he is about and go all out. Frieza not a competent fighter but he does in a way fight smart knowing technique counters mostly against the Yardrat from Universe 2 along with interesting utilization’s of his tail sure no fighting style but he knows how to use his resources if your following I need to sleep soon so I’ll end rambling I’ll reply to you later or more likely tomorrow so goodnight for now.

it's not that they have less dna, it's that they ate no humans and gohan's punches overloaded them on a cellular level due to his radiating ki.
Are you sure freiza cant sense ki in this point in the series because there are quite a few instances in the current arc dwhere he makes note of universe 9s aura and jiren once he powers up
My head canon is that although Cell is capable of making perfect clones of himself, he wouldn't do that if he could help it. He wouldn't create a clone that would challenge him. The Cell Juniors weren't as intelligent, they couldn't even talk, and it seemed as though they lacked many of the special moves & abilities the Z Fighters had. With Super's scaling, I'm sure even the Cell Juniors could challenge SSB Goku with off-screen training.
The Cell Jrs in 3DS Fusions have the passive skill 'regeneration' so atleast to the game devs they can.
I believe they are weak clones with immature brains. Given time they probably could grow to Cell's level.
And whether they can use their tails to absorb people like Cell can... That's anyone's guess.
i would love to see a cell jr to be full grown and look like cell but blue but i think they should be on goku's lv in ssj2
lord omega i unfortunately have not played it but i would say a little stronger than kid buu but not quite as buuhon was unless he abused zenkais i just don't want to many people getting as strong as frieza don't get me wrong i love cell but if a cell jr got as strong as frieza i would like to see either some training a new form so basically as far as power scaling go's not as strong as buuhon but close

I would say that Cell Jr did not lack the DNA so much as they were children. We know Cell and Piccolo could re-generate, but that's really all that we've been told. What information are we lacking? How does namek re-generation work in younger nameks? We do know how one namek creates genetic changes in children. Fusion. Two nameks fuse and the children that come from that namek is diverse to the original, and that brings up another question. How would fusion and re-generation work between stages of development etc etc in Cell's 'race' after that fact? For that matter, yes, Gohan killed the Cell Jrs, but could any of the have survived after? What would it take and how long would it be before they recovered as infants compared to Cell, who we already know can heal instantly?
As strong as the Toribot desires... or at least as strong as Toribots manly fist holds out.

if I was to justify cell junior being stronger than everyone... I can say back there juniors had no experience to move their core/life to a single cell and regenerate... or Cell didn't create them better or program them better since it was his first try... but if he can learn to program them they can be born already stronger than him lol...

If Kefla beats Goku at SSB and forces him to go Ultra Instinct that makes no sense. The only excuse people have is that he is tired. I don't see how that makes them on God tier. I like Kale and Caulifla but their writing of their development is horse shit.

It was alright ironically only because we got to see many other characters. Sure Goku vs Kefla still took about 60% of screentime but I was glad to see others regardless. Obviously, I'm calling bullshit still on the whole situation. Regardless of the whole 10x boost due to fusion I find it laughable Kefla can hold her own to Goku at SSB x10 Kaioken. My theory is that the writers are using this as an excuse so Goku can be pushed to the limit and use Ultra Instinct again. Disappointed in Akira Toriyama. I thought he only had some involvement but he actually has complete oversight over each episode, which makes this worse.

Yes you are correct good insight btw. I just assumed he goes x10 because it he has used it multiple times already in DBS. Since he is a lot different than when he fought Vegeta on Earth so I guess x10 is not that big of a strain apparently as how it used to be.
