      It's also because Majin Buu is basically immortal, regardless of what freeza did he was eventually going to die. He couldn't have destroyed the entire universe back in the old days even if he wanted to cuz he would have died before he did it. Majin Buu though is basically immortal because he's millions of years old so he really is a threat to the entire universe.

    I've always gotten the impression that the kais and gods non-interference rule resulted from some past event where they did once intervene in mortal affairs quite often and it resulted in rebellion because the mortals thought they were being robbed of self-determination. They're supposed to just let mortal do their thing, only things like Buu need to be stopped. If they went around stomping out every wannabe ruler and tyrant instead of letting mortals deal with their own problems, they'd be heroes for awhile, but eventually discontent would grow.

    • @Sintra4
      @Sintra4 4 года назад

      That could also be a neat explanation for the radical cultural differences between the Saiyans of Universe 6 and 7. Perhaps the gods of 6 were always more hands off, which gave the Saiyans opportunities to fight against tyrants, giving them their positive reputation, while in 7 perhaps the gods were excessively controlling, smacking down any would-be tyrants before most mortals even hear about them. This zero tolerance policy would not only deprive the Universe 7 Saiyans of strong opponents to fight, but would inevitably force a conflict between the gods and the Saiyans, since Saiyans will fight anything, regardless of its moral alignment. This would also explain the existence of the Super Saiyan God form, and possibly explain why Bearus told Frieza to blow up Planet Vegeta. I'm also leaning toward the old gods having temperaments similar to Zamasu, since the the god transformation requires several Saiyans of "pure heart" combining their power, suggesting that they were indeed rebelling against something they thought was evil.

    • @dreadrath
      @dreadrath 4 года назад

      @@Sintra4 You make some very good points there. I'll also add that Beerus himself, while lacking anything like a Zamasu complex, did still have a habit of killing anyone who was even slightly disrespectful of him, and tyrants who are full of themselves would almost certainly try to exercise authority over him, only realizing their error when its too late to take it back. Frieza in that regard at least had the warning from his much more level-headed father not to screw with Beerus and probably was a lot more polite and diplomatic with the destroyer, hence narrowly avoiding erasure for awhile, though Beerus was still considering erasing him.

    The role of the supreme kai was to simply observe. He wasn't even supposed to do what he was already doing in the Buu Arc.
    But just imagine an alternate version of events where Beerus could sense that the supreme kai was being attacked by Buu. Due to the fact that the two are linked and if one dies, so does the other, how cool would it have been if Beerus woke up and traveled with whis to destroy majin buu?

    • @jpdicey789

      I wouldn't really say cool because if that actually happened Buu might not have even been resurrected. The other thing is that Beerus could probably wipe out Buu in his sleep, we already saw him demolish the Fat Majin Buu in the Battle of Gods arc.

      @@kendivedmakarig215 Freeza was a threat to the Universe too, but Beerus had him doing his dirty work for him instead of deciding to kill him when he should have. Nevermind the fact that Beerus being the one to tell Freeza to wipe out the Saiyans dampens the emotional narrative's momentum when it comes to Freeza being the big bad villain.
      Yes, Freeza heard of the Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan God legends so had a motive of his own for wanting it done. But the fact that Beerus basically instructed him to do it on his behalf seems to make the struggle between Goku and Freeza less personal in terms of any kind of big picture.
      Plus, it took Freeza 4 months of training to become stronger than a rusty Super Saiyan Gohan, while only in his 1st form! With that kind of growth rate it would take form 4 Freeza a week or 2, maybe only a few days to surpass the Supreme Kai and then if that fight had happened Beerus would be dead.
      The bigger picture is that Freeza would callously destroy planets for very few acceptable reasons just like Buu did! He would have done so to Earth in DBZ if Future Trunks hadn't stopped him! If the Gods of Destruction are mostly there for the sake of their emotional whims and to be the balancing act of a Universe, what's the point of them if they can just get another dictatorial despot to take over their own job?
      Freeza could have killed Beerus without needing to fight him with the right information, the only reason the Gods of Destruction can act like spoiled brats is because the order of Angelic attendants and Zeno are far too soft with them when it comes to how they should or shouldn't proceed, unlike the Gods of Creation, the Destroyer Gods don't have any proper guidelines to abide by.

Instead he got lazy and used Frieza to destroy the saiyans which resulted in Universe 7 having a low moral power level and if it wasn't for Goku reminding Zeno of the Tournament of Power, Zeno would have erased Universe 7 immediately. Most of the time, Beerus doesn't really deserve his title. Goku is the one who does the job for him like destroying Frieza and Majin Buu. If anyone deserves the God of Destruction title, it should be Goku.

Who lost to base Vegeta, and was gonna lose basly against ssj1 Goku if he didn't just eat the light radiating from it... Like he literally was overloaded by it, and instantly exploded when Goku used ssj2 for an instant so brief only Vegeta noticed it.

      He arguably did as good as Gohan fighting Buu, took more hits, and then saved Gohan from Buu's blast despite being badly damaged himself.
      Even forgetting everything and saying he loses to piccolo, that piccolo fused with Kami and was equal to androids. These androids were destroying Super saiyans all relative to Trunks.

In terms of Beerus I do think he had a hand almost like Frieza was his agent the same way Goku was King Kai's and Pikkon was his Kai's agent. But ofcourse there is Toriyama didn't think of this character because even when introduced to King Kai he states Nappa and Vegeta may be stronger than him so the only way Goku could win was to become stronger than him and master the spirit bomb and kiokhan so a Supreme Kai may not have even been on the table as Frieza was written to be the strongest force in all the universe.

The "Grand" Supreme kai was the Supreme kai of universe 7 and the other 4 worked under him ( similar to what we see in universe 10 with Gowasu being the current Supreme kai and zamasu serving and learning under him to eventually succeeded him) But of course buu happened, killing all of them except for Shin who was not only the youngest of the 5 Supreme kai's but also the one with the least knowledge and experience in doing the job. We even see that his knowledge of things is kinda lacking, in battle of God's he also seemed that he didn't know about the existence of Beerus the god of destruction, he also didn't even know who Zeno was when we first see him in dragon ball super. The only reason he became Supreme kai was because all the other Supreme kai's of universe 7 ( who were probably more qualified to do the job ) were already dead. 🤷‍♂️ not to mention that one of the jobs of the Supreme kai is to not interfere with events happening between mortals UNLESS the universe's existence could be threatened, even though frieza is a villain he isn't exactly a threat to the existence of the universe, he isn't trying to Wipeout all life in the universe he is just a galactic tyrant trying to conquer the universe he can be reasoned with or he can easily be put in his place by Beerus, whis, or any of the Supreme kai's of universe 7. Buu on the other hand has no interest in conquering he just wants to spread chaos he can't be reasoned with and he is strong enough to beat/kill Supreme kai's. He is a universal if not multiversal threat while frieza isn't ( at least not until he achieved his golden form and black ) form.

    Because Buu is not easily to destroy. King Cold told Frieza too that he cannot challenge Buu too, even on Golden Frieza form, he would be drained as hell. And besides Shin is a God of Creation counterfeit to Beerus as the God of Destruction to maintain balance in existence.
    Shin would be unauthorized by Zeno himself, because it's not his job to be a destroyer.

    Frieza was a natural part of the universe. It was not the job of the Kaioshin to police the universe. Simply maintain it as best they can.
    Frieza is not a true danger to the universe as strange as it sounds. He is not going to destroy planets unless he is crossed.
    Buu was a different story, he was a very real threat to all life.

    LOL anyone watching the series should already know that answer. For one thing he is a god of creation. He is not to metal with Mortal affairs and especially not to kill anyone just for the sake of it. Frieza only wanted to rule a vast Empire across the Galaxy with his Frieza Force and not really destroy anything just because he could. So there was no reason for the Supreme Kai to just go and kill him off

  • @Epsilonsama

    The Supreme Kai is a creator God who maintains universal order by creating new planets and nurturing said planets like a gardener does its plants. Freeza was akin to an Ant to the Supreme Kai. Nothing to worry about. They killed each other and what not but he was not a threat to universal order. He was simply an Warlord. Buu on the other hand is like a bad blight that destroys all your crops. It's a threat to the Universe itself and it needed direct divine intervention to destroy.

  • @nobilisvaga5267
    @nobilisvaga5267 3 года назад

    Well so from what I can tell from the make up of the frieza empires goverment. It was mostly autonomous with frieza acting as the leader not threw example or action, but threw force. Most worlds under frieza were free to do as they pleased as long as they payed thier due and compliance was met. Frieza was the equivalent of the or else for the most extreme situations and frieza only took this roll after the destruction of planet vegita. As the saiyans under frieza took care of this in his stead. So with the disappearance of frieza the rebel factions most likely became more agresive, knowing the biggest threat was now gone. This would have made the more brazen and would lead to new and bigger cells popping up. So it's not that friezas empire was in chaos, current issues were only just exasperated in his absence.

    Gods can't get involved in Mortal Problems also Beerus kind of hired him. Buu was a different case Buu is the Personification of Evil that Bibidi got control over not created. This was something beyond what mortals could handle so that why they got involved. Now Gods Can get Mortals to fight for them on their behalf which is basically a Loophole in the Rule. Their not getting Involved themselves but letting the Heroes of their own Universe fight for them kind of Like the Pride troopers or those Sailor moon type girls. This is why the other Universe had a High Mortal level because they work closely with their Mortals Unlike Universe 7 although I'm pretty sure the other God Of Destructions dosent destroy their universes planets because there food sucks.

Shin is worse at is job than I'd thought, since as Supreme Kai he's a god of creation and is supposed to work in conjunction with his universe's God of Destruction.
      Heck, their jobs are so intertwined that even their lives are supposed to be tied to each other, and yet somehow Shin was entirely oblivious to Beerus. I know all of this is retcon, but still... taken as a whole it makes him look pathetical ignorant.

    If he did kill frieza, things would have been a lot worse off probably for our heroes. Without him around Goku would have never really been sent to Earth, if they keep that the way they do in the broly movie. Since apparently Earth now isn't a valuable planet for some reason.
    so earth eventually would have been taken over either by emperor pilaf or by the red ribbon army. Or even piccolo if anybody let him out, and things wouldn't have really turned out any better for the Saiyans, since it's implied that beerus was going to destroy them anyway. He might go around looking for his super Saiyan God, but without Goku becoming a super Saiyan and various other things that led to it I doubt any of them would have figured out how to become one, and he probably would have destroyed them all out of frustration. Whether he would hunt down any survivors I don't know.

    In immortal's terms, Buu was WAAAAY more of a threat than Frieza. Immortals think in terms of balance and survival of the existence of the universe, not good/evil, as it is secondary. If Frieza conquered the whole galaxy or something, yes, he'll rule it. And things will still live and die and perhaps that can be dealt either by mortals who step up to rebel or the God of Destruction can do his job then if it goes too far. But Buu is just straight-up destroying things for destruction's sake. It is just being of pure destruction, and it is strong enough to destroy Gods of Creation itself AKA the Supreme Kai's.
    Plus, killing Frieza's probably Beerus' job, and Beerus fucked up supremely (pun intended) because of his laziness and gluttony. Our cute Kaio Shin stepped up from being a young Supreme Kai-in-training of the Eastern Quadrant to being the only Supreme Kai left. Earth of Universe 7 is in the Northern Quadrant. He's not even supposed to be here in the 1st place but he stepped up very quickly. Honestly if Shin existed in real life I'd worship him over any God. He tries. He really tries.

    Probably a multitude of reasons. First is, he's just lazy. And he probably believed (during Z) that the kais were among the strongest in the universe, so also a bit of arrogance. And if he weren't this lazy and did his job, he would've found out creatures like the Saiyans were rising up and in the cases of Goku and Vegeta, even outpowering him.
    The second is, that gods normally don't interfere in mortal affairs. While Frieza is a threat to the universe, he also just wants to rule. He might destroy a planet here and there, but in general, Frieza just conquers planets. Probably the reason Shin didn't bother. But Majin Buu was a destroyer. So he had to step in, or else there wouldn't have been anything left.
