Also comparing two characters in fight from two different verse is absolutely dumb because its not the same verse thus not the same laws, as in the different power systems like cursed energy and whatever is on DBZ verse, i could say that gojo will never die to goku because he has no way of countering his infinity and also once gojo hit his DE goku's dead because his brain would be overflowing with information constantly and gojo can purple the sh!t out of him. Well Goku's ability's work off a "energy system" which is basically just he has a bunch of energy and shoots it in a beam, which is completely different from Gojo's universe where Gojo's abilities work off a physics system that is actually explained. In a broad overview it can look like a "he is strong" description vs a "he is strong because his abilities work like this" description. Firstly, Gojo's infinity slows things down as they get closer, doesn't matter that Goku can travel multiple times the speed of light, it is still a numeric speed and can be divided by 2 until its infinitesimally small. And now the main attacks, Goku's abilities mainly consist of Ki energy being put into some sort of projectile and fired and whoever puts the most energy in can over power the other. Meanwhile, specifically hollow purple, is an ability that is explained through the physics of the jujutsu universe that it erases all matter. These abilities are very far apart in their relation as, for example, a kamehameha is a large amount of energy, and energy is heat, so its affects on other objects are vaporization, so it just turns it to gaseous form. But hollow purple on the other hand mixes the abilities blue and red, which work by creating impossible scenarios that the world must fix like negative existences and the other doing the opposite, to make a destructive force that instead of vaporizing, basically deletes crossing the law of conservation of mass. This can be illustrated as if a Hollow purple was fired at Goku and a kamehameha was fired at Gojo and these two forces collided, it would look like the hollow purple is effortlessly moving through the kamehameha with no resistance. Because, as stated before they aren't the same type of attack and when one object has the power to essentially "delete" it and the kamehame ha has no impact on it simply because it consists of ki, or energy and this can just be deleted by the hollow purple. Another aspect is that Gojo has his domain which can overflow Goku's mind because as we all know the theme around Goku is that he is stupid. This will disable him and Gojo can just do the rest as he now has a essentially brain dead body in his domain. Now to all the people who would state, "no way, he is Goku he will find a way to overcome this" or whatever, no he will not because there is a difference between powers that work on a stat system and those that work on an "absolute" scale.
Its also interesting to think about how UI would interact within the infinite void, seeing as the only reason you can't move is because you can't control your body due to the infinite information flooding into your brain. UI being a "autonomous" suggests his body would still react even unconsciously like in the beerus ssj3 fight.

What a lot of people fail to take into account is the question of which power system takes precedence in the fight. If it's dragon ball's power system, then limitless is useless. Because in dragon ball, literally any hax (such as things like limitless) can be canceled out and ignored by someone with a large enough power difference. This was displayed when Jiren broke through time skip, and the fact that anyone with enough energy control can resist or ignore the hakai. A move that LITERALLY ERASES YOU FROM TIME AND SPACE, SOUL AND ALL. (Sounds to me like Hollow Purple, but better.)

You seem to be under the thought that since mui doesn't require thought, infinite void wouldn't work. Let me correct you.
Infinite void overloads your brain to such an extent, it paralyses your body. The Brain is still needed for reflexive actions, nerves send signals to your brain, which instinctively gives feedback to move your body, but if your brain literally cannot process or interact with any stimuli from anywhere, since it's I b overloaded then, mui won't matter, since goku still needs a brain even if its not taking in his conscious decisions.
In short, void fries your brain, a fried brain can't give a body any input anymore, your body needs a brain to function. Mui will shut down

If you take the rate of information transferred by infinite void (6 months/0.2 seconds) and then you take Goku's perception of time into account, then it may be the case that the raw information Goku receives from infinite void every second is no different and possibly even less than the raw information a normal person receives every second. Goku's perception of time would essentially mean that relative to people far slower than him, he would be receiving less of the information at a time since his brain is just processing the oncoming information slower than it would be able to affect him (I hope this makes sense.)

Regarding the infinite void topic, UI is a technique that separates the mind from the body basically putting your body on autopilot. If Goku ended up tapping into UI, Goku would still be able to fight since despite his brain being overloaded with information, it isn’t like it really matters since he’s not using it in the first place, it is called Ultra Instinct for a reason. (Plus the fact Goku ever since T.o.P has gotten even better at his control over UI to the point where he may eventually just naturally be in the state at all times like the angels, which certainly isn’t helping Gojo’s case)
UI isn’t some magic technique that makes his soul pilot his body or something. His body simply moves to fight in the most optimal way based off of basically muscle memory without him having to actively think about his moves. His brain still has to send signals to his muscles to move, which he can’t do if Unlimited Void fries it into mush with the concept of literal infinite information being jammed into it.

Gojo vs. anyone reminds me of Sakuya vs. anyone, these two rarely lose unless you have some form of hax that bypass infinity/infinite time stop, if the challenger doesn't have the hax required they'll either lose or it'll devolve into a infinite stalemate.
Also a big point is body strength. Gojo would probably die to a single sneeze from goku, considering it hits. Goku could withstand every single punch, probably even swords or any other weaponry. So if gojo cant hit goku with his abilities that kill someone he cant physically kill him.
I'm seeing a lot of people saying that UI/MUI still requires the brain sending signals to Goku's body for him to move (when talking about Infinite Void) but rather than responding to them all I figured I could try to debunk that idea here.
In Dragon Ball Super Episode 18 around 20 minutes into the episode when Whis is just starting his training with both Goku and Vegeta, Whis actually explicitly goes over this.
To quote: "You completely lack speed. It's because you're both thinking before you act. This is especially true of Vegeta, so your speed is being limited. It takes time for your senses and brain commands to reach your bodies." [Goku and Vegeta bicker] "You need to teach every part of your bodies to respond on their own. But it's not an easy task. Not even Lord Beerus has mastered it. If you can overcome it, you will be able to avoid any danger." [Goku asks Whis if he can do that] "Of course." Queue the gag of Whis' shoe having stepped in poop.
And the same in "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" (yes, that's the manga name, as the Super manga entirely skips the RoF saga, going from Beerus in chapters 1-4 immediately to chapter 5 "Beerus and Champa" and going onward with the U6 tournament) Chapter 2, page 8, Whis says the same thing.
To quote again: "The two of you are still thinking about your actions before moving. Especially you, Vegeta. You have a very strong tendency of putting too much thought in before you act. By the time sensations pass through your five senses to your brain and are then transmitted back to your body, precious time has been lost." ... "Ideally what you want is for each and every part of your body to react, respond, and move of its own accord... Unfortunately this is not an easy task. Even Beerus-sama has not fully mastered this yet. Once you are able to master this, then you would be able to overcome and avoid any threat."
I'm fairly positive he goes over this and says pretty much the exact same thing in the RoF movie during the early portion when he's training them, but I don't have the exact timestamp for it.
I think it should be kind of obvious he's referring to Ultra Instinct here unless you want to somehow argue he's talking about a totally different technique or a Super Mastered Ultra Instinct or something. Anyway the wording in all of these have a clear pattern of him literally saying they are too slow because of the time it takes the brain to send commands to the body, and that they should try to reach a level where they don't have to do that.
Again if we are assuming he's hinting at Ultra Instinct (very likely) this would mean that by the time Goku has Omen and then eventually MUI, this would be a literal case where his brain unironically doesn't have to send information to his body because it's moving on instinct, because that is exactly what Whis was trying to get them (Goku and Vegeta) to do.
Anyway tl;dr Whis basically says or at least heavily implies Ultra Instinct requires no brain function, as the time it takes the brain to send signals to the body is 'too slow'.
My question is where does Goku achieve this when in one of the quotes it says Beerus hasn't even mastered it yet? Why would Whis also tell this to vegeta as he doesn't have ultra instinct? Even ignoring the speed or whatever, someone like Goku may just be able to outlast Limitless. Because of the Six Eyes, Gojo's CE Reserves are borderline endless, but only because there's just that few people that can actually survive long enough in a fight with him to test those reserves, as opposed to an entity like Rika that genuinely just outright has infinite Cursed Energy.
So, in theory, if Goku can wail on Limitless enough to drain Gojo's reserves to nothing, he could still win even if you ignore the potential speed feats and the like.
No Goku wouldn't outlast Gojo because Gojo doesn't run out of cursed energy he literally CANNOT. It's not just his six eyes Gojo is constantly replenishes the energy he uses up.
So say if Gojo has like 100% CE Then he uses like domain expansion that costs like 30% of his CE. The 30% that he just used would immediately be restored. So he would just go back to 100% so it's not that Gojo inherently has infinite cursed energy but because at the rate he constantly replenishes it. He basically can just never run out simulating infinite cursed energy.
Also to reinforce this It was stated by Yuta twice that even though Yuta has more cursed energy than Gojo, Yuta can run out of energy but Gojo doesn't.

And we’ve seen Goku enter that “state” after being defeated (read: he's unconscious / unable to react anymore).
Since its literally the body entering some hyper active “survival mode” (at least how Goku uses it often enough) id argue that Gojoro’s void with infinite information wouldn't matter. Goku’s body doesn't need his brain working to move; and honestly its likely that “removing” goku’s consciousness from the equation (and thus his good nature), would cause his body to probably respond to any attack at full power, which would clearly just cause Gojoro to explode.
So yea. UI, on a guy who can move and fight on other planes of existence, is just broken AF.

Keeping in the spirit of how the characters would actual act I think it would be a pretty quick fight. Gojo, realizing the gap in power, would immediately activate his domain to hit Goku with Infinite Void, which would succeed. Because Goku is usually the type to let things happen and let his opponents charge up, I think that even if he perceived it as an attack he would let it happen.
Once under the effects of Infinite Void Goku would be unable to think or use his brain to move his body, in that moment Gojo charges up the biggest Hollow Purple he's ever attempted and is about to launch it point blank at Goku for max dmg.
Goku immediately enters Ultra Instinct and charges up his power levels, the resulting wave of Goku's energy would pop Hollow Purple and turn Gojo to ash on contact, the end.
Goku should have no problem with infinity, however i do feel like the domain would work on goku, that it would paralyze him as long as it's up. While stuck there tho Gojo wouldn't be able to hurt him due to a lack of raw damage output compared to gokus durability.

Well Goku's ability's work off a "energy system" which is basically just he has a bunch of energy and shoots it in a beam, which is completely different from Gojo's universe where Gojo's abilities work off a physics system that is actually explained. In a broad overview it can look like a "he is strong" description vs a "he is strong because his abilities work like this" description. Firstly, Gojo's infinity slows things down as they get closer, doesn't matter that Goku can travel multiple times the speed of light, it is still a numeric speed and can be divided by 2 until its infinitesimally small. And now the main attacks, Goku's abilities mainly consist of Ki energy being put into some sort of projectile and fired and whoever puts the most energy in can over power the other. Meanwhile, specifically hollow purple, is an ability that is explained through the physics of the jujutsu universe that it erases all matter. These abilities are very far apart in their relation as, for example, a kamehameha is a large amount of energy, and energy is heat, so its affects on other objects are vaporization, so it just turns it to gaseous form. But hollow purple on the other hand mixes the abilities blue and red, which work by creating impossible scenarios that the world must fix like negative existences and the other doing the opposite, to make a destructive force that instead of vaporizing, basically deletes crossing the law of conservation of mass. This can be illustrated as if a Hollow purple was fired at Goku and a kamehameha was fired at Gojo and these two forces collided, it would look like the hollow purple is effortlessly moving through the kamehameha with no resistance. Because, as stated before they aren't the same type of attack and when one object has the power to essentially "delete" it and the kamehame ha has no impact on it simply because it consists of ki, or energy and this can just be deleted by the hollow purple. Another aspect is that Gojo has his domain which can overflow Goku's mind because as we all know the theme around Goku is that he is stupid. This will disable him and Gojo can just do the rest as he now has a essentially brain dead body in his domain. Now to all the people who would state, "no way, he is Goku he will find a way to overcome this" or whatever, no he will not because there is a difference between powers that work on a stat system and those that work on an "absolute" scale.

Completely different power levels. My interpretation is that Goku will just overcome everything eventually. Before I even watch, it’s either Gojo wins via hax or he can stun him but isn’t strong enough to win, or Goku reacts way too fast to anything
Well Goku's ability's work off a "energy system" which is basically just he has a bunch of energy and shoots it in a beam, which is completely different from Gojo's universe where Gojo's abilities work off a physics system that is actually explained. In a broad overview it can look like a "he is strong" description vs a "he is strong because his abilities work like this" description. Firstly, Gojo's infinity slows things down as they get closer, doesn't matter that Goku can travel multiple times the speed of light, it is still a numeric speed and can be divided by 2 until its infinitesimally small. And now the main attacks, Goku's abilities mainly consist of Ki energy being put into some sort of projectile and fired and whoever puts the most energy in can over power the other. Meanwhile, specifically hollow purple, is an ability that is explained through the physics of the jujutsu universe that it erases all matter. These abilities are very far apart in their relation as, for example, a kamehameha is a large amount of energy, and energy is heat, so its affects on other objects are vaporization, so it just turns it to gaseous form. But hollow purple on the other hand mixes the abilities blue and red, which work by creating impossible scenarios that the world must fix like negative existences and the other doing the opposite, to make a destructive force that instead of vaporizing, basically deletes crossing the law of conservation of mass. This can be illustrated as if a Hollow purple was fired at Goku and a kamehameha was fired at Gojo and these two forces collided, it would look like the hollow purple is effortlessly moving through the kamehameha with no resistance. Because, as stated before they aren't the same type of attack and when one object has the power to essentially "delete" it and the kamehame ha has no impact on it simply because it consists of ki, or energy and this can just be deleted by the hollow purple. Another aspect is that Gojo has his domain which can overflow Goku's mind because as we all know the theme around Goku is that he is stupid. This will disable him and Gojo can just do the rest as he now has a essentially brain dead body in his domain. Now to all the people who would state, "no way, he is Goku he will find a way to overcome this" or whatever, no he will not because there is a difference between powers that work on a stat system and those that work on an "absolute" scale.
Portals can bypass his limitless too since a portal allows instantaneous transportation to another point in space, without actually traversing said space. Its off of this that I find it wierd how people haven't considered Cosmic Garou as a potential counter to Gojo.
