- If your striker can't score in football manager, don't worry! this video takes you through various solutions and things to think about when it comes getting your centre forward not just scoring, but scoring more! Covering morale and psychology, tactical considerations, and the importance of player traits.
Note on traits: Look out for player traits that may be limiting your striker from scoring, such as "Plays with back to goal" and "Likes ball played to feet". If you're looking for a classic, dynamic number 9, you may have to get rid of traits like these.

Do you TI work in the box?If you check TI short passing, low rytam,control possesion,balance mentality ,weak teams dont score on that Ti,and role in middle DLP and Carrilelo ,it is way for draw or loose
Hi Avgdad, first of all i would like to mention that i like the way how you explain different aspects of the game in your videos but personally i would like to see how your changes or tactical implementations changes the game and bring result that you want. As an idea : i think Every FM player have the game when he face team that not better of his own team but his regular tactic is not working ( even with a lot of rematches)) ) the reason of this could be the pressing system of opposite team or just tactical formation so i would love to see your team in this situation and the way how u handle it. hey, thanks for the comment! Absolutely, I'm trying to consider how best to do that, it's very much on my list to do. Maybe take a decent Prem side through a season and find a few games like that
Praising/critising training - I have found for the past few years that praising everyone whose training rating is 7.25 and above works as well as critising any rating below 6.70
Critizing has to be below 6.00 otherwise player will not agree with your criticism

Thanks Avgdad for another great video. Could you possibly do another one on training? I saw training responsibilities were assigned to you and I'm hoping for a better approach than leaving it to the assistant and just adding double recovery after matches to avoid injuries.
tbh I leave it to my assman 90% of the time too, but I do handle individual training. I'll see if I can put something together on this though, sure!
I’ve not watched the video yet but If it’s not working I usually pair them with a DLF on support or an AM with wingers or inverted wingers
Watched the video, made a simple change in the tactic and bang: 3-0 with 2 goals from the sole striker. Cheers!

I also think an important factor is that new strikers won't immediately start scoring, especially if they're new to the country or don't speak the language or whatever. They need time to gel, time to learn the language, time to adjust to the tactic etc. In my current save I have a striker who frustrated me with his lack of goals last year when I signed him, and now is scoring every other game on average just as I'd hoped

37:10 while certain hidden attributes can be helped with mentoring, I don't think consistency is mentor-able
I'm in the video and I might edit,
I also look at the 3 same things being: Moral / Tactic / Traning but I also and primarly look at teammates - In football there are several ways to get into 1vs1 situaton and to get thru the defense, a great pass or a great run or you're fucking Aguero and you can dribble 3 players and make your own goals.
Great passers willing to take the risky passes is key on FM and for the strikers.

When i play 4231 similar to yours my striker can't score as well, he would have zero shot while the whole team can have 20 plus shot. Finally gave up 4231
to be fair the 4231 does clog the striker's space up a bit
What system do you use ?
I have the problem that my striker is always offside, how do minimise this? What attributes help in avoiding being offside so much?
make sure his traits are in order, and worst comes to worst try a role that starts a bit deeper. Off the ball I think is the main attribute, and work rate and teamwork may have interactions there

Next please make your wingers or Inside forwards score more Goals.
Tutoring does not affect big games, it is a static attribute.
Tutoring does not affect, u right, but is not static attributes, big matches and consistency can improve with the time, but is very low, not like normal atributtes.

@@benjaminkuhn2878 yes they improve, i have print, One of my regens started with 5 and after one year, he have 6. Its probably rare, but happens, i see more increase in consistecy.

Kane is a pretty damn good shout tbf, and that's what's wonderful about football, it's all about opinions. In my secret heart of hearts Darwin Nunez is the best striker in the world, he makes me smile!! :D
It is deep problem ..first look player role ,poacher is cleen scorer like AF,connect striker is DLF or technical worse version TM,technical striker is F9 or treaquartista..TI ,if you playing work in box ,think how ball go the box,have striker ball
