2:11:54 One of my favorite early/mid game builds is dragonfire venture, with shield shunt/heavy armor, expanded missile racks, and an officer with missile specialization. A ship carring 12 dragonfires and fast missile racks is especially great at dealing with pirate eradicators (they can kill several times their DP in pirate eradicators), which IIRC are one of the biggest mid game threats in vanilla. It's absolutely hilarious to watch a pirate eradicator burn in and immediately eat 4+ dragonfires, overload, and die. In that stage of the game, it's a great combatant and very helpful logistics ship. Sometimes I'll even keep a few of them in reserve in the late game without militarized subsystems, since they're still decent logistics ships and, as they're civilian ships, don't count toward military ship DP. I think the DF's price is kind of justified because of how reliable it is compared to its competitors. High missile health, so usually won't get shot down, the missiles track, so usually won't miss, and energy damage, so the shots aren't wasted if they hit shields. EDIT: I love typing out a bunch of words after I think you're done talking about something in the video, only for you to say half those things like 30 seconds later.
A video more unhinged than usual, how cool. 40:00 Regarding a postponement for a playthrough of pirates or pathers, it's the same feeling for me. More with the Commissioned Crews mod. I'd like to see the Pathers speed boost, but to play as anti-technology terrorists with their ships... I think I'd only spam Manticores and a couple of Prometheus, unsure of how I'd deal with Ordos when compared with more sofisticated ships. 1:12:58 I found something funny testing this mechanic of plot-armoured planets. I regularly raided Chalcedon out of curiosity of colonizing a planet in the core systems. Months, years without stability. When I finally completed the main questline, it instantly decivilized.
23:33 Heeey look at that, you got the ScalarTech blueprints! Let'sgoooo Filament battlecarrier time 👀 ...I mean, if I remember correctly, the blueprint pack is SUPPOSED TO have the Filament blueprint too
1:52:18 Yes! we need a drawing stream. 1:53:57 I think omen should carry on one hand, or maybe with both hands, the arc emitter and on the other saide, is atched on the back, the part off the ship with the small missale slot and small energi slot, maybe also accesories that reflect her hull mods.
What are your thoughts on the pirate mini mod? Ive played with it myself and saw just how overpowered the pirate champion variant was. It's the perfect counter to high tech ships and its genuinely busted.
Apparently an LP brawler can be very good in player hands i don't know how good tho. Also i would like to see a derelict operations build from you once at least with idk 20 atlas mk2s
Every day that pinny skeenis survives is a day I can keep on going

Comm Relay issue was because of loading the game, as soon as you let the game tick over a bit it fixes itself afaik
rip chat :c
Unfortunately they are gone on #5 and #6 due to youtube backend shenanigans. It won't be an issue in the future, but it's still annoying.
Goat starsector content creator!
50:00 you sound uncannily like the original, holy voice acting batman
2:14:26 You should very much steal the hegemony's pristine nanoforge for content.
