- Yanille is one of Runescape's most forgotten places, but after spending almost an entire year here, I know everything there is to know about the city. Join me on a 850 hour journey of discovery as we uncover the history and secrets of Oldschool's jankiest old city - this is ChunkYanille, my Xtreme onechunk ironman.

ACCOUNT RULES:
Originally labeled as "Semi-Xtreme" this account mainly follows Limpwurt's Xtreme ruleset with a few exceptions. Here are the guidelines:
To complete a chunk, I must:
1. Complete the highest skilling challenges.
2. Complete all quests and diaries as far as possible.
3. Obtain all unique monster drops.
4. Obtain all unique items.
5. Complete all minigames.
All tasks must be completed to leave a chunk. A new chunk is randomly chosen (rolled) from the directly adjacent chunks. This account also has the possibility to use the portals found on the 3rd floor of the Wizard's Guild to roll their respective chunks, but only if I have a consistent way to return to Yanille.
My exceptions to Limpwurt's rules:
1. Starting with two chunks.
2. Chunk tasks must be chunk specific (meaning random events, clue scroll loot, RNG-based item sources and any items from outside my chunk don't count toward chunk tasks)
3. I only need to complete the highest level skilling challenge if I have a primary training method in that skill (primary methods are consistent and repeatable)
4. No skillcapes :)
5. NEW TO THIS VIDEO: If a time-gated grind like farming would prevent a chunk roll, I may backlog that goal.

Hate to break it to you but you probably could've gotten all those stats faster by going to other places in the game
Wtf are you serious
There is something really comforting about this type of account around some of OSRS cities, especially the antiquated cities like Yanille that get deemed “irrelevant”. It genuinely feels like a community of people that have been building, farming, cooking, and just living life for over 20 years like any other village in real life. Games (MMOs especially) need “irrelevant” content like this to make the world feel real and alive. Its incredible that you can progress an account so far without ever leaving one of these random insular cities, which just makes it feel even more real. OSRS is an incredible game.
For me, you are up there with the other great OSRS content creators as Settled, Limpwurt, Gunschilli, xRakine. Absolutely love your style of editting and storytelling. That was the o e thing I missed in the Swampletics series that you did absolutely right: to go into the lore and history of the game. I'm really hoping to see the series continue for longer!
Chilli and Settled are definitely on another level when it comes to content presentation, and I think given a bit of time this guy could be in comparable territory. Really hope the channel blows up!
Can not help but hope this series continues and is far from over
this series is criminally underrated.. feel like people slept on u bro
I agree, very good series
Fr
Blame the algorithm not the playa baybee
Yeah not really it’s not even original content he’s just cosplaying settled it’s weird
Often these big compilations of long series push these smaller creators over the edge. Hopefully that is what’s happening here since I have no idea who this is lol
Just stumbled across this and very excited. Yanille has always held a special place in my heart. It really feels like a city time passed by, and manages to keep some of that magic of the glory days wandering around as a kid having no idea what was going on.
Can't wait to see you complete Watchtower Quest in either 3 months _or_ 5 years!
New life goal
So whats you fiver year plan?
oh, mostly I just want to complete the watchtower quest. XD
Never thought I’d sit and watch a nearly 4 hour long video on RUclips, but the way it is presented is so digestible.
Plus I do enjoy learning new stuff!
Dude, this series scratched that itch i've been looking for. I caught up with Settled's tileman series and then wanted more restricted RS play. Your content is phenomenal and was very comforting at the end of a long day of work to just lay back and watch the grind. Hope future chunks treat you well.
I don’t even play RuneScape, but you got me hooked on this series dude! Just finished watching the series the day before yesterday but ready to watch this again. Hope you continue the series!
I love Yanille so much, spent most of my early member days there, I was a prayer and magic enthusiast so I loved it, sand bucket moneymaking, altar runs, magic guild, the iron ore mines a lil bit north, loved it. It was very very far away and just after the gnomes so it felt inherently magical. I had a terrible day yesterday, couldnt even get up from bed, and now here im awake at 4am after an interrupted night of sleep, and this video will be a great company while i play minecraft. Thanks!
Just had this recommended to me by YT and it was so good I watched the entire thing in one sitting.
Fantastic content Chunky Neil, can't wait for the next episodes.
One of the best series I've watched recently. Everything was brilliant, from content to post-production - you should be really proud!
Legit one of the best OSRS series right now. Can’t wait to see what happens next with the account!
I just found this video and your channel. Yanille is my favorite city in game, I always have my house there, it's the bank I skill in. Lots of great memories. I'm really excited to check out your channel
This is so good, straight to the point, interesting, and best of all no attempts to make it sound super super epic for no reason unlike later swampletics
How did I miss this series while it was ongoing? Thanks for the full upload, been binging it for a couple days now! Great series!
i love this series and i love how much effort you put in the quality of your videos. You think in every detail and it makes the hole experience so much better for us, thank you!! can't wait to watch you in the next grind!
Every time I see your name in a notif, I get happy. But at what cost to yourself do I gain this happiness?
Deep
@@londenbaum409 I’m only like 4 out 5 blocks deep right now. There’s still plenty of room to get deeper, at least theoretically
soldiers, guards and watchmen. All unique to one little misunderstood and oft-ignored little town in Kandarin.
Just watched the whole series so far today for the first time finishing it a few hours ago, and then you upload this video. The timing. Fantastic series btw, love the drops of interesting facts about yanille and the narrative approach of the series, not revealing everything straight away. Could've told us in episode one about Salarin, but was glad you waited 'til it was necessary. Nice to not know everything that is going to happen, waiting to find things out gave me more to look forward to it.
Didn't watch the chunk roll stream on twitch (as I only saw the recent episode today), so look forward to the next episode to find out.
This quickly became one of my favorite Runescape series. It has fantastic quality every episode, fun game trivia and good commentary. Looking forward to the next chunks!
This is so well done, every time I found myself wondering what you're doing or why you're doing it, you answer it with a little explanation! I was engaged the whole video which is rare for me.
Mad props for making a limited series that feels hard earned and difficult without straying into full on self-flagellation. Having bank access alone makes the looking back at the progress and future planning feel so much more satisfying. Being able to look past small mistakes and setting tangible and realistic goals are such a breath of fresh air for these type of videos. I appreciate the background lore you’ve sprinkled throughout the series as well! Great work, I’ll be keeping up with the series for sure!
I clicked on this thinking it was a 3 minute and 57 second video... it wasnt until I was 2 and a half hours in did I realize how wrong I was. Great video man!
Just finished this whole series without ever hearing of you before. I can't say enough how well done this is! Your editing, story telling, and especially the music are so well done. Looking forward to season 2!
Can’t believe I just found your account, I watched this whole 4 hours straight and enjoyed every second of it.
just watched this entire video today, never heard of this channel before. Really excellent series and brilliantly edited. Excited to see more, this deserves way more views!
ngl listening to all your episode back to back make me appreciate the effort you put into your music.
the use of that yannile motif is beautiful
i think you single handedly brought yanille back. i always see people there now
Just finished this. My algorithm did right by me. What a series, another content creator that i can look forward to watching. You're definitely up there with the best.
Superb editing, superb everything in general.
I’ve loved this series so much so far
3:50:10 there is something beautiful about this scene. It celebrates the amazing achievement of a citizen of Yanille; who managed to gain entry to the most prestigious building in it- never leaving the city. And some purple haired noob just runs in there like a normal Tuesday.
I am gutted I didn't get to watch this series unfold in real time but I absolutely loved every second of this entire video. The educational deep dives into random little mechanics that no one has ever thought of makes me so happy for some reason lol can't believe this doesn't have more views
this series is awesome and you’re a fantastic content creator, i look forward to watching more of your stuff to come!
I've just finished the series up until the chunk roll and now I"m binging this video.
I NEED you to upload another year of gameplay this week my god I could watch ur videos forever
Excellent series! I loved learning about all the old obscure things in this area that date all the way back to classic, so cool!
I'm so happy this came up in my recommended feed, looking forward to all your upcoming content! This was an amazing grind and the quality of the videos is really good!
i've been wanting to restart this series from 0, glad this is coming out
This is so fucking well made, and i dont know why more people dont talk about this series. The visuals and the data.. its so good.
1 year from now, guarantee you’ll be in every convo about the top OSRS creators on youtube, keep it up 🫶
I can't speak for any other chunk/ kandarin locked accounts but I also got 66 Magic purely based off monster drops of runes as a uim... so brother I can relate more than 99% of people can to the struggle you went through!
I didn't know about salarin though, I got lots of runes from the elementals in seers/chaos druids/ pickpocketing paladins and the nature rune chest in ardy, so I had more options but damn it was still a journey! Can't wait to see wait your journey takes you 🎉🎉🎉
Something that I’m wondering is if the chunkman gets easier the harsher the exit conditions for your start are, since once you get the high levels, the grind is done. Anyone can tell me if that’s the case?
For some it is, but I still have a LOT of low level skills by the end (no spoilers, just many skills are untrainable in the city)
Watched this and then pretty much binged your lumbridge-Remington series! Your vids are awesome! Great pacing! I hope you have more projects to come. Cheers 👍👍
This was such a comfy watch. Loved this video. I don't usually have time to watch these long osrs challenges but whenever I find myself on a fight or sick with the flu I treat myself to them and man does it make what would've been a bad unproductive experience almost wholly enjoyable. All the effort you put into the editing and making your own music (inspired by Yanille) as well as filling out the wiki pages with the findings and math you did while playing is such a fantastic way of furthering the community too. Definitely subscribed. Fantastic stuff my dude.
This was an amazing video to watch. Looking forward to the next chunk roll and next season of this!
1 minute and 17 in seconds in the video and osrs content creators never cease to amaze me !
I've just started on my very first ironman, which is a GIM. Because of the one episode I watched of this series, where you talked about Salarin, I figured I would use the sinister chest to train herblore. I'm close to lvl 67, so I'll train a bit at the pyramid and watch the rest of the series while doing so. Nice series ❤️
This was so cool. It was like a big history lesson for such a small part of the game.
This is a very good series. The narration, the fun trivia tidbits, the humor, the edits. Really quality work.
i took too long to come around to this series. now ive watched all the episodes and recapped with this mega video. anyone that enjoys any kind of one-chunk or ironman progress series will surely appreciate this one. good work and ill see you at 100k subs
I’m disappointed in myself to have only discovered this channel this late into my Runescape rabbit hole journey… these videos have been my pal as I chug through my first ironman and all of it’s long grinds. Will definitely be rewatching all of the other uploads too ✌️
Gutted I only just found out about you. Will certainly watch your stuff from now on. Thanks for the hookup with Old school soundscapes, look forward to watching them next too.
Keep it up, love the style & the content. Good job
Really enjoyed the movie Josh. Was a great video to have playing while working on my ironman!
From the editing, exciting gameplay, learning more than I care to admit about Yanille, and of course your personality, those four hours flew by.
Wishing you the best on the next chunk, and I will be tuning in.
3:42:34 "Finally, I have something growing in my patch."
Amazing! I remember watching the first 5 of this series before youtube stopped reccommending them to me :(
Thank you for making this mega video!! I'm already halfway through and I'm so happy I get to see how your yanille journey goes!! Excited to see where this account goes in the future!! 💞
This series has been SO much fun to watch... and it's somehow just the beginning lol. Was fun exploring the next chunk with ya!!! Can't wait for the next one, Mr. Yanille!! :D :D
Amazing series, really nice work! Looking forward to see what you come up with next.
Loved this series! So glad this video was recommended to me. Love your commentary and the cool facts!
The intro alone made me sub and i havent seen any of your other videos. Halfway done now while training agility and def gonna have to check the other content
I just stumbled upon your channel recently, so this vid comes perfectly timed for me. Love the style and storytelling :)
lets gooo i needed something to watch while grinding crafting
Just came out after I binged all the episodes back to back! Can’t wait to see where it goes man all the best
First video I’ve watched when I saw it pop up on my recommend. Fantastic series, looking forward to more!
You're voice is actually really calming. I genuinely appreciate all of your content
Great series man. Found out about this series on the last episode. i've had this in the backround like 5 times already, reminds me of a mini swampletics series. great stuff from beginning to end
I went in to watch for a while out of curiosity and finished watching the entire video hahaha
Runescape content creators such as yourself help me out so much when I'm grinding out osrs, seriously man the dedication you put in your videos is amazing. Really love how detailed and smooth this video was, currently got back my questcape running through videos like this.
I'm also the proud owner of being the 80th comment of this video.
Absolutely one of the most well made rs series. I've enjoyed this just as much as back when munclesonkey first made good Ironman. Keep it up, you're doing amazing
Fantastic series. Really great job on the editing, music, storylines, everything. I enjoyed every minute of this 4 hours.
This was really fun to watch. I respect the commitment you made a lot and I can't wait to see what the account has in store next
Dude I found you by accident, and I await every episode now. They way you drop Classic facts also takes me back. You have so many chunks of history when it rolls on khazard that place will interest you too. I love this series!
Always love me a good 4 hour long series supercut
I'm only halfway through the video, but I have to commend you for all the work you did on the Agil dungeon wiki! You're a true hero. And I hope my humble comment helps the algorithm show this awesome series to more people.
Man what a Settled clone. It looks like someone just watched every single Settled video, studied them, took notes on the beats, and editing style so they could replicate it for their own wildly interesting videos.
Jokes aside, 10/10 dude.
I do like yanille to be fair, very chilled vibe
seriously love this series, also the music bops you are very talented
This is why I love Runescape so much, there's an INSANE amount of content if you just look in the right places.
wow, what an accomplishment! so proud!
Look at this Settled poser, posting a recap of the series so far after rolling a new chunk.. Thanks, needed it before we get to the next steps of the account! Can't wait to see what hot mess Tree Gnome Village gets you in. Fun Tree Gnome Village Facts when?!
This dude is madly slept on. You should be up there with the highest of the community. Your data and knowledge rivals Settled himself.
Criminally underrated series! Has brought me back to osrs after about a 3 year hiatus, Keep smashing it Chunky!
You are gonna get big bro. Im happy to see more people step up and create great runescape content like you!
great to see it all together in one big adventure, looking foward to season 2!
Im following settled for about 3 years .. but now... I just found you! Keep up your great work mate! Hope to see more Chunkman stuff
Data visualise of knives thrown vs XP remaining was 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Just went to yanille first time since watching whole series and it’s not the same lolllll. Forever ingrained in the best way 😂🔥
Amazing series thus far, both for the chunk content and the discoveries you've made about the region. Looking forward to the next part of the series, even if the grind to get there might take a while. (CeruleanSpin says hello)
Thoroughly enjoyed this! Watched the entire 4 hours. 👍
Good man for helping the Wiki team & making the Old school RuneScape Wiki the best gaming wiki out there.
This was great, quality content! I like the simplicity in the editing and the music was groovin. Seriously would bump in the whip/10
When the person you met says your editing is great I almost cried, so cute! Keep up the great series, loved every minute
I started watching cause of your amazing intro and voice great job. You have earned my sub
Damn i been gradually watching this whole thing for the past week, insane journey you went on!!
This is gonna blow up😊
This is great content, thank you for your hard work
I will never be able to walk through yanile and not think of you and that key lmao thanks for the memory
this was such a good series. you've got a real talent for editing these kinds of videos. keep it up!
I have no idea how this was so interesting to me. Great video dude.
Keep up the great work, Josh ! Love your vids !
