Fear and Hunger Is really silly: Every character starts with a particular reason to go to the dungeon, like save your friend, take a particular item, and you end up killing/becoming God, well, It escalade pretty quickly

Keep in mind they are under incredible stress as they realize their life is not just in danger but some truly grisly fates could await them. Also seems more than a few are suffering from sunk costs fallacy. Believing they have to get something out of this that makes up for all the stress, pain, and resources spent to get to that point. So they may not be thinking clearly and just end up getting swept up in the current of the place
I'm just sitting here wondering what the D'arce tumor's Leg Sweep looks like. It probably uses its arms, but it's funnier to imagine it swinging the rest of Sylvian around like it's breakdancing. XD

Then of course just destroy a tentacle or 2 depending on which tumor your fighting against with a good weapon like miasma/black steel/ claymore etc. I usually target and destroy the body last. As for the accessories, I usually use white angel or charm of ygaegetsu

Fought her the otherday, managed to cut off her limbs fast (ragna with eastern sword and moonless) she used the knight to cut my legs off Then i just started missing her head, but she was bleeding out(thanks Moonless) and spamming the Color out of Space So basically, the second half was metapod vs magicarp
I got to this fight on my first somewhat succesful run. I was beaten with single digit HP, missing and arm, unable to use more than one light blue vial and with the girl as my only companion. I could barely even last a turn in this fight. I had an empty scroll that I hadn't used yet. I learnt Locust Swarm and beated it on the first try. I can't emphatise how locust swarm trivializes this fight. The only thing left for you to worry is feeding your caster mind-healing items so that you can keep casting it when necessary.
For some reason i decided to start my first playthrough on Terror & Starvation difficulty so your videos were literally salvation for me. Thanks a lot! Except for this specific fight...It was bugged for me, i could only target the torso and nothing else. Thank god i had leg sweep and locust swarm so i managed

I'm the world thankful of you for making this video! I have two questions though. 1. If you were to apply burning to the torso, how long would it take for the tick damage alone to kill her? 2. Would this be faster than applying poison and burn at the same time to her head?
Another thing, if you have a way to apply poison on the torso, you can do that too, make the fight a lot easier. Just know if you use the throwing daggers there's only a CHANCE, so if it doesn't take the first time, throw again.

Always read comments! To go there you must be on T&S difficulty, reach golden throne (mahabre) and find your characters in the void in case you had any! To reach the exact sylvian spot, from throne go to the right and a little bit up, you'll reach a mini staircase, follow it and you'll find spikes, follow spikes!

I didn't have salmonsnake soul, you need white angel soul for more turns, don't have enough time to set up. Double coinflip is because after sylvian you won't need coins regardless

my current Terror and Starvation run has got to this point, but between just fighting francois and only having 3 party members, and no resources left to explore, I think this run might be dead edit: it wasn't dead, I frickin killed Sylvian in Terror and Starvation! Done! Never playing that difficulty again :D
Out of all the C list E Celeb's to choose for you to base your personality off of. You chose Vaush? If you're going to Regurgitate a man's views, at least choose a good man ffs.
I have achieved Enki's S Ending just now and completely destroyed Sylvian with the best case scenario party members and their gear : 1.) Enki - Cursed Blue Sin with White Angel Soul and used Leg Sweep to instantly destroy the small tentacles on the first turn ! 2.) Skeleton 1 - Miasma with White Angel Soul . 3.) Skeleton 2 - Purified Eastern Sword with White Angel Soul 4.) Skeleton 3 - Eastern Sword (from Empty Scroll , un-purified version) with White Angel Soul I had to get 4 lesser souls just to buy Leg Sweep and Healing Whispers in preparation for this boss fight ! Also stocked up on Wine Vials (atleast 10 or more is recommended) using Scroll of Transmutation on the lake in the Salmonsnake boss arena as she does ridiculous Mind damage from Color Of The Unknown attack . My character got entangled on the first turn but luckily she chose to use her big tentacle slam on other party members as otherwise I would've been a goner . This is hands the down best possible scenario you could aim for for fighting Sylvian and even then it took ridiculously lucky RNG to come out of the fight victorious . Traces of Sylvian is , without a doubt , the hardest boss in the game .
@frapollo94 Would it prevent Entangle ? 😮 Because it is by far the most dangerous move she has . She COULD just entangle and use Tentacle Slam on you and outright just kill the main character , though I'm not sure if that's a possibility from her coding . It does a whopping 40 damage !!!

So I guess the strategy is Enki just uses Locust Swarm on main turn , gets Entangled , let's the Skeletons do the damage , once the stun wears off , Enki uses Locust Swarm on main turn again and , on the extra turn , use Loving or Healing Whispers to heal the skeletons . Rinse and repeat ?!

The tick damage alone should require 5-6 turns to kill her if my calculations are correct! It seems the same as applying both to head simultaneously!

I didn't have salmonsnake soul, you need white angel soul for more turns, don't have enough time to set up. Double coinflip is because after sylvian you won't need coins regardless

I have achieved Enki's S Ending just now and completely destroyed Sylvian with the best case scenario party members and their gear :
1.) Enki - Cursed Blue Sin with White Angel Soul and used Leg Sweep to instantly destroy the small tentacles on the first turn !
2.) Skeleton 1 - Miasma with White Angel Soul .
3.) Skeleton 2 - Purified Eastern Sword with White Angel Soul
4.) Skeleton 3 - Eastern Sword (from Empty Scroll , un-purified version) with White Angel Soul
I had to get 4 lesser souls just to buy Leg Sweep and Healing Whispers in preparation for this boss fight !
Also stocked up on Wine Vials (atleast 10 or more is recommended) using Scroll of Transmutation on the lake in the Salmonsnake boss arena as she does ridiculous Mind damage from Color Of The Unknown attack .
My character got entangled on the first turn but luckily she chose to use her big tentacle slam on other party members as otherwise I would've been a goner .
This is hands the down best possible scenario you could aim for for fighting Sylvian and even then it took ridiculously lucky RNG to come out of the fight victorious .
Traces of Sylvian is , without a doubt , the hardest boss in the game .

Because it is by far the most dangerous move she has . She COULD just entangle and use Tentacle Slam on you and outright just kill the main character , though I'm not sure if that's a possibility from her coding . It does a whopping 40 damage !!!
@@vamsikrishnakrishnaraj-cu9vp swarm stuns all the tentacles for 2 turns but doesn't stop entangle, but you don't really care about the entangle cause you stunned the tentacles for 2 turns

So I guess the strategy is Enki just uses Locust Swarm on main turn , gets Entangled , let's the Skeletons do the damage , once the stun wears off , Enki uses Locust Swarm on main turn again and , on the extra turn , use Loving or Healing Whispers to heal the skeletons . Rinse and repeat ?!
