If you get Blood golem as a party member via the Isayah glitch, there's tons of fun experiments you can try. He *can* Black orb, for instance, though it's much rarer than in the case of Moonless. This also gives you a couple of new sprites, as BG assumes a profile, Ghoul-like stance when he's about to Black orb. When he actually launches the orb it's another new sprite, making him look Abella-level caked up.

with that glitch you can see that if you go for e ending blood golem doest appear as well as any severed limbs or brain flower doesnt show and of course le garda nah rah or baby demon tough demon baby appears

Scary Chicken Head will be canon in Fear And Hunger 3
A little curiosity about the guard that can chase you if you open a door in a specific dungeon map: if you kill him and then open the door, the event can be triggered anyway, and the corpse of the guard will be moved near the door, so we can say he chase you even from the beyond. A real fear and hunger experience.
When walking very closely behind the ball in the gauntlet, it can kill you. Apparently there is a hitbox that can be triggered when behind it. I felt so dumb when my party died.
Yeah it's because the ball doesn't check if you're in front of it or behind it
I assumed this was a thing from the start and never got too close. Glad I trusted my gut 💀
These things might be virtually useless mechanically but i think they really help to set atmosphere of the dungeon and characters. And some are just Funny lol.

12:34 actually, the scarab was most likely sprited to look like it was in a doorway, with its other limbs and rest of the face hiding behidn the doorway
EDIT: iirc there is also a lord of the flies sprite in the files which is cropped in the shape of a door, so maybe the dev planned to add enemies behind some doors (like the scarab and lord of the flies from the unused sprites) but didnt

I am from Germany and I am totally in love with both Fear and Hunger games. Luckily I was able to download and play this game, after a friend who does not live in Germany, gifted me this game on steam.
damn if I knew I could just disable necromancy on the the skeleton or corpse then half of my perfect runs wouldnt have gone to waste , such a useful tip!

@@frapollo94 you must be thinking that I am joking but really the perfect run where I used enki to get a marriage then get ragnavalder legarde and darci failed many times due to me having skellies in the party remaining and having no way to kill them safely cus at that point I had reached legarde and crowmauler was always behind me at that point , only later I realised having legarde and ragnavalder together would cause misfortune in mahavre probably due to the dev wanting to have some balance as both characters are combat based
You can still sacrifice them... If you want. I don't know if sacrificing a skelli or Ghoul gives you more affinity

A few useless devour facts:
You can't devour red man because its flesh is too rubberry
You won't be able to devour the harvestman because it smells bad but can devour lord of the flies
The flies taste better
Rag eats flies confirmed
the pinecone pig is so cute in a way dude the way it does nothing 80% of the time and tries to pick a fight at one point or it brings you egg and dirt

Probably not a bug but still:
If you meet D'arce while Le'garde is in your party she very clearly reacts to that, but if you meet Rag while Le'garde is in your party he won't react at all, not even if you also have the Cube in your inventory!
My favourite useless fact is that characters, while Guarding, cover their face with their left arm but if that arm is cut off they have to cover their face with the right arm.
For #9: The funny thing is that it isn't even because the game is "banned" in Germany or whatever. Apparently it's because Steam would have to implement an age verification of sorts for it and to them it's just easier to not offer it at all then
honestly, i am happy that frapollo took the raid shadow sponsor. The amount of time he spends on videos he finnaly get paid (other than stream donations and patreon)

5:45 FACT #15 IS NO LONGER USELESS, as of today, Ihukne has used empty scrolls in his Ending A Any% speedrun to get two Brown vials for use against the final boss.
Congrats to him! But it was useful only in a self imposed challenge run like a speedrun, so it remains useless normally

in the guard will follow you conformation, you can go to the explosive vial bed fail the coinflip and a guard will attack you if you defeat it and go back to the door the corpse will follow you via that event and then you can make it go back to the bed failing the coinflip again

Heres another weird leg sweep fact! You know that guard next to the cube spawn? The one with the ritual spear? Yeah, leg sweep kills him instantly. Dunno why, dunno if its JUST him or if all other cavedwellers die like that too but it's definitely a strat lol

german here, it has nothing to do with how creepy or "disgusting" this game is from time to time, it is because of nudity
a couple of years ago, germany forced the german version of stream to ban all things containing nudity to a certain degree.
Steam has no parental controls except this "are you 18+?" > yes < or > No

Im german and The Steam lock-out is even worse than heute not being able to play via steam.
It also locks you out of the community tab of the game and the steam community has so many guides and other stuff (like the O'saar text adventure guide) that you just can't access even with a VPN

18:35 in RPG maker, "Normal Attack" state does have an effect. If there is a skill that gives 'cover' state, the character with that state will automatically intercept any skill with 'normal attack' that is targeted to other ally. In any case, it's just a tag so that the engine can emulate cover system.
That being said, I don't know if there is a skill in Fear and Hunger that gives 'cover' state, so yeah, it's basically useless otherwise.

Not really? you can just enter in the hut which is literally 2 tiles away from you and crow will despawn again

I was wondering: You mentioned in other videos that you've been fixing bugs for this game and making a patch for it that anyone can download.
Does this patch (also) add removed things you mentioned in this and other videos like that Embryo coin flip attack, the dialogue when giving the floating head wizard food for the first time or the Rag brain flower fight?
My patch only fixes bugs! Don't plan to add extra stuff that isn't already present!
There’s a mod that adds some of these events, it’s Reign of the New Gods. It also adds some other features but do read through them as it can be considered a bit cheap (I love being able to swap party members without having to drop their mind tho)

I think the Demon Kid in the Void thing has a very niche potential use: if you happened to have Nashrah in your party before entering the void, you can sire the Demon Kid in order to replace his party slot

Blood golem is too mainstream? ok you can't control it, but there are only 2 battles in the void, and a 200 hp meatshield seems better

about 78: normal attack makes it so all skills apply status effects that come from equipment, ie the poison from the witch's soul; normally you'd only apply it to a skill, not sure if it does anything if put on someone

for 2:00 or somethin, i do be living in germany, but there are several ways to ignore the restriction. I was able to play it through sharing library with a friend who has it as an example. you gotta install it and then go through your files and start the .exe file :D

I'm gonna add this 'cuz it's a fun interaction and I haven't seen anyone document it.
In the Void, you can actually get behind where the New God stands. There's a special interaction if you interact with them from behind.
If Le'garde is there, it'll say "You see Le'garde standing on a cliff." and it'll give you the option to shout his name. If you do, he won't respond and if D'arce is in your party, she'll try and do the same with similar results.
If the New God is there, it'll say something along the lines of "There is someone greatly resembling you atop the cliff" and it gives you the option to yell "Hey!". There is no reaction if you do, however.
That's on my list!
